Before:

Bantamweight action tonight sees Saorise Ronan step into the ring with Elizabeth Olsen. Ronan knows she’s the underdog in the fight, but the young actress doesn’t let that affect her.

“I know Lizzie is heavily favored,” Saorise says, “but I’m going to surprise the FCBA when I knock out Liz. I’m going to show that I deserve a stable.”

Olsen merely smiles when she hears what Ronan said, “Saorise has plenty of fight. That’s why I picked her as my opponent.”

Saorise the first girl to the ring, the young actress wearing a simple black sports bra with matching trunks and white gloves, her hair in a ponytail for the fight. Elizabeth steps out moments later, the brunette wearing a green sports bra and white trunks with green gloves. The two girls touch gloves and the bell rings for ten rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:

The two actresses are careful to start the fight, both girls testing the other’s guard with jabs. Ronan looks to use her extra reach, but the veteran Olsen easily finds counters, hitting the younger girl in the face early. Saorise not a pushover and the blonde clinches to force a break early. The Avenger looks to turn up the heat but the bigger girl shows off her reach with a quick left that stops Olsen. Ronan with a follow up right into Olsen’s body but Lizzie comes back with a hook to her foe’s jaw and sends her back. Saorise with her gloves up to protect her head, but Elizabeth goes for body early, knowing that the damage now will help her later. Ronan again with the clinch before her back is forced into the ropes, and she spends the final seconds evading the former champion.

Round 2:

Saorise and Olsen start out the second by circling each other, and Ronan starts leveraging her extra reach and jabbing at Olsen. Lizzie protecting her head and counterpunching when she can, but the smaller girl is worked back and has to clinch before she gets into the ropes. The ref pulls the two girls apart before he lets the fight continue. Lizzie working her way around the ring, feinting left and right to bait the younger actress and the Avenger lands a pair of rights into her opponent’s face. Now Ronan clinches before Olsen can gather more steam and the ref steps in again. Saorise goes back to her jab out of the break and gains momentum as she forces the brunette onto her back foot. Lizzie protecting herself well, but she’s not able to dish back punches and the bell rings.

Round 3:

Ronan hitting her stride as her jabs get crisper as the fight goes on, knocking Olsen back. Lizzie’s reach disadvantage on full display here as Saorise has her at the perfect distance and the Avenger has to plant her feet and wait. Ronan splits her gloves with a right and Olsen digs a left into the bigger girl’s midriff, but the younger actress continues her push and works the older girl into the ropes. Lizzie bounces back and finds a pair of punches into Saorise’s face as the free agent is surprised by her foe’s strategy as the wily veteran Olsen takes advantage of the situation. Elizabeth fighting from close quarters with short strikes to Saorise’s body - and Olsen’s head snaps back as Ronan connects with a haymaker! Lizzie staggers backward as Saorise steps up, but the brunette darts around the ring as the younger girl starts throwing punches.

Round 4:

Olsen turning the momentum as she starts the fourth circling quickly around Ronan, dipping and diving and making the bigger girl miss with her blows. Lizzie with a left hook that digs into Saorise’s ribs and the blonde winces. The Fates girl follows up with a right that crashes through her foe’s guard and Ronan clinches before Olsen can do more damage. The ref pulls the two girls apart and the two start circling again. Ronan jabbing at Olsen to dictate some of the round, landing a left when the brunette gets over confident, but Lizzie keeps her cool and hits back with a right into Saorise’s jaw. Ronan catches her balance but the blonde is all defensive, protecting her head in hopes of getting to the bell as Olsen pounds her body. The bell brings the round to an end in favor of Elizabeth.

Round 5:

Olsen getting more confident as she leaves her corner, the brunette starting to focus on breaking down Ronan’s guard. Saorise keeping her gloves up and protecting her head, and the blonde plants her feet as she looks to counter. Olsen with a big right but nobody’s home as Ronan ducks her head out of the way and crushes a right into Lizzie’s jaw and Olsen is staggered! Saorise turns from hunted to hunter as she unloads at range, working around the older girl’s guard and delivering punishing blows to her body. Olsen goes to close the distance and clinch but Ronan slips away and drives a one-two combo into Olsen’s chin and down goes Lizzie! The free agent gets a surprise knockdown on one of the top fighters in the FCBA, but Lizzie already starts working her way to her feet. The Fates girl gets up at the count of seven, and the ref waves Ronan back in. This time it is Ronan who gets over-aggressive and pays as Olsen lands a right counter that forces the blonde to back off. The bell rings and the first knockdown of the fight goes to Saorise.

Round 6:

Ronan confidently strides out of her corner and uses her reach early, working Olsen backward, but the Avenger avoids the ropes. Saorise with a left jab that catches Elizabeth in her mouth and draws blood. Lizzie counterpunches with a right that clips Saorise below her eye, stopping the blonde from advancing. The two girls start circling, each girl feinting and trying to get the other to fall for the fake, but neither girl bites and the crowd grows restless. Lizzie decides to close the distance between the two girls and go for close range trades. Saorise connects with a left into Liz’s chest, but the Avenger pushes through and connects with a right straight into the free agent’s nose. Ronan staggers backward and Olsen goes body, working short but powerful rights and lefts into the blonde’s body as the bell rings.

Round 7:

Elizabeth surging, the Fates girl with more energy than her foe as Saorise timidly exits her corner. Olsen dances around the bigger girl, forcing Ronan to react as the Scarlet Witch feints up high and goes body, steadily tagging the free agent and retreating. Saorise struggling to find the clinch as Lizzie connects with her strikes and retreats before the younger girl can get her arms around the smaller fighter. Ronan plants her feet and doesn’t fall for Olsen’s next feint and connects with a right to Elizabeth’s face. Saorise steps forward with a left haymaker wound up but she gasps as Liz finds her solar plexus with a right and the blonde is doubled over as on comes the brunette! Olsen drives Ronan back upright with a left and Saorise can’t get her gloves up in time to block Elizabeth’s barrage of blows to her chin and down goes Saorise onto her stomach! Lizzie quickly to the corner as the ref starts to count. Ronan gets her arms underneath her at the count of three and crawls to the ropes, grabbing a hold of the middle rope at the count of seven. Ronan tries to pull herself up but she can’t and the ref reaches ten. Your winner by KO7, Elizabeth Olsen!

After:

Olsen raises her gloves in triumph, the Fates girl surviving a tougher fight than most predicted. Ronan is helped to her stool by her staff and Olsen goes over to hug the free agent. Ronan nods her head as Olsen tells her something before she leaves the ring.

“Saorise brought it tonight,” Lizzie tell the press, “She’s a good fighter, and stables would do well to have her on their PPVs.”

When asked about what she said to the younger girl, Olsen tell the press, “That she will make it someday. She will.”
