Intro:
Next up is a battle of young bantamweights fighting it out, Elisha Herbert is showcasing the talent of the ACB on this crossover themed card, with Vivian Hsieh looking mighty impressive in the FCBA since debuting over two years ago, Vivian goes to Elisha's home country of Australia to do battle though as we are in Melbourne's Dockland Stadium.

Heading into the bout both women gave a few words to different media, Green and Gold Magazines Sarah Cummings got to speak to Elisha, sitting with her at a local bar as Elisha has her legs crossed in blue denim shorts, a wet vest and black sandals, dipping her sunglasses down on her nose to look at Sarah.

Asked about the fight, Elisha tells Sarah "I can't wait to show the Americans what us Aussies can do, when I won the ACB bantamweight title I proved I belong as a face of the ACB, someone to fly our flag on the international stage" putting her sunglasses on the table grinning as she looks confident about her abilities.

The subject turns to her opponent, Elisha tells Sarah "Vivian doesn't impress me, sure she has fought more but I haven't exactly been sunbathing, I have been earning my stripes, anyway she looks a little soft, maybe I'll make her submit and quit in front of my fans" laughing to herself, Sarah wishing her luck as they share a glass of champagne, maybe toasting victory a little too early.

Vivian meanwhile gets interviewed by the FCBA Networks reporter Layla Anna-Lee, who meets Vivian in the luxury hotel the fighters are staying ins gym, Vivian wearing a light blue sports bra, black yoga pants on and blue trainers with a towel over her shoulders, she nods to Layla after doing some last minute training to be in the best shape of her life for this fight.

"I am here for one reason, I am going to beat Elisha in front of her fans, this is my chance to prove I can beat a champion, too bad Elisha didn't have the guts to put her title on the line" says the Taiwanese model, nodding to Layla as she keeps it short and sweet, walking past the interviewer so she can get a shower.

Fight night, first through the curtain comes Elisha with her coach Nicky Whelan behind her, Elisha has the ACB title with it's green belt strap wrapped around her waist, Elisha is wearing an emerald green sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, her hair tied into a ponytail, Elisha has help taking the belt off by Nicky, who shows it off to the crowd as Elisha parades around the ring with her hands on her hips, smiling as she takes in the cheers, getting back to her corner nodding to Nicky that she has got this.

Now here comes Vivian with her coach Miyada Issiki to her left, Vivian gets at best a mixed response, she stares at the ring trying not to focus on what's happening around her, she steps into the ring wearing a baby blue sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, hair also in a ponytail as she gets a pat on her back by her coach, Vivian stretching her arms.

The referee waves the fighters towards them at the middle of the ring, the fighters come together looking each other over, not looking too impressed by what they are seeing, there's a crack of leather as they bump fists, then jog back to their corners, once ready the bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Stabbing jabs at their opponent to gauge the range, the crowd firmly on Elisha's side as the fighters dance up on their toes, leading to Herbert pushing inside to whack in three body shots, Vivian backing off landing a defensive jab but the crowd applaud their favourite for pushing the pace, forcing Vivian around near the ropes as she gets to work.

This isn't the way Hsieh would have wanted the fight to start, throwing single punches as she moves side to side, Elisha landing two to three punches in reply, feeding off the crowd as she switches her targets nicely, showing why she is a champion as Vivian looks under pressure, maybe worried about being caught if she swings out her guard.

Less then fifty seconds to go, Vivian times her counter attack, blocking a straight with her left glove, she swings in a right hook to the body, then follows with a short left to the cheek of Elisha, dancing away from the ropes to the center, now the crowd are getting a taste of Vivian's skills, drilling in some nice two punch comes as she dances up on her toes, Elisha getting too aggressive as she swings and misses, at the end of the round Elisha taps her gloves together, though she won the round on most pundits scorecards, she is clearly annoyed that she wasn't able to bully Vivian for the whole round.

Round 2:
Returning to fight at the center, they are fencing with jabs till Elisha swings in a left cross that finds air, Vivian dipping under it and landing a short left to the body, Elisha grunts at the impact of the punch, then takes an overhand right to her ear as Vivian strikes at her like a coiled viper from her crouching position.

Pushing back Elisha now to the outside, Vivian starting to control the tempo of the round, though Elisha is landing some nice shots off the ropes, Vivian closes in to work the body with several stiff combos, trying to take the legs out of the champion, getting clipped around the sides of her head in return as Herbert isn't going to be knocked around that easily.

Final minute sees Elisha push Vivian off her, again though she is swinging more then setting up punches, allowing Hsieh to duck a right cross, landing in two left hooks, just missing with an overhand right as Elisha leans out the way, both land a straight at a similar time as they stand at midrange to their opponent, the bell rings moments later with Elisha maybe letting the occasion get to her, fighting in such an electric atmosphere with her supporters chanting her name, Vivian is simply sitting on her stool with her eyes shut, ignoring all the noise around her.

Round 3:
Trading more punches in their exchanges, both barking in effort as heads get snapped back when they land flush, they are closely matched physically, it's just little mistakes that turn the tide, Elisha is the one to make the mistake again as she misses with a left hook, Vivian peppers her face in return with a flush one-two combo that forces the ACB champion to back off.

Vivian this time is the one to get more aggressive, sensing she can out box Elisha, she uses her left forearm to push her onto the ropes, then bashes in two right hooks to the ribs, Elisha soon enough needing to clinch up, crowd noise is starting to quieten down a little, Vivian doing a good job shutting down Elisha.

Though as they enter the last forty five seconds, Elisha is still there fighting hard, landing a few clubbing shots out her guard as she plants her feet more, Vivian dips under a straight to bang in two short left hooks to the body, then gets pulled into a front headlock under the right arm of the Aussie, referee breaks them up with the Revolution Boxing corner not looking happy about the roughhousing tactics, at the end of the round another solid round for Vivian, while Nicky tells Elisha to settle down and focus, giving Elisha a lecture as she cleans her up.

Round 4:
Elisha is using her jab again more frequently, moving back when Vivian tries to close the distance to strike her with two punch straight combos into her forehead, looking more silky smooth in her boxing then she has done the last two rounds, with Vivian needing to tighten her guard a little more as she sees the change in her opponent.

Both women are fighting hard for this one, exchanging hard shots as they box around the ring, Vivian lands a straight into her opponent's lips, forcing her onto the ropes, where she lands another two left hooks to the body, making Elisha hiss but land a short left hook to the ear of her rival, then pushes her off as she looks to show the crowd she is the stronger one in this ring.

Late in the round Vivian just misses with an overhand left, earning herself an uppercut on her chin that knocks her to her heels, crowd roars as they watch Elisha land a five punch flurry into the face of Hsieh, driving her into a neutral corner as Vivian has to cover up, Elisha pinning her to the turnbuckles till the bell rings to end the round, Elisha raising her arms in the air as she stares hard at Vivian, who pushes past her to return to her corner, Elisha looks more relaxed now after that successful finish to the round.

Round 5:
Stinging each others cheeks with straight shots as both fighters have a little pink hue around them, Vivian gets caught with a left hook on her ear, shaking her head as she backs up a step, Elisha lands a straight into her face, knocking back Hsieh to her heels as Elisha is starting to grab a vice like grip on this fight.

After the first minute another uppercut knocks Vivian towards a neutral corner, she misses with a right cross as Elisha blocks it, landing a straight to the nose of Vivian to shut her eyes, SHE DOESN'T SEE THE UPPERCUT THAT LANDS ON HER CHIN, DOWN GOES HSIEH AGAINST THE TURNBUCKLES TO SIT AGAINST THE BOTTOM ONE!

That certainly fires up the crowd as Elisha marches across the ring to the opposite corner, 1...2...3...4.. Vivian looks up at the referee with a glassy look, 5...6... Turning slightly to her left as she puts her right glove on the middle rope, 7...8... Getting to her knees with her forehead against the middle turnbuckle, 9...10 that's where Vivian stays as she is counted out!

Winner Elisha Herbert KO Round 5

After:
Elisha jumps for joy with both hands in the air, smiling as she looks at the beaten fighter across from her, then goes on a lap of honour inside the ring as Miyada comes into the ring to check on Vivian, Elisha passing them without even acknowledging them as she jogs her way around to her corner, where she is met by a hug from Nicky, who tells her to keep this up and she could hold all the belts.

Vivian is helped over to her corner to sit on her stool, rubbing her chin as she comes back to reality, Miyada isn't looking too pleased with her, washing her down as she asks what was she doing there? Making Vivian look at her feet embarrassed she got caught like that, leading to Miyada telling her not to be as open again in future.

After both fighters are cleaned up they head to the center of the ring, Vivian looks annoyed as Elisha gets her left hand raised, her supporters chanting her name as Elisha lifts up the ACB bantamweight title up to showcase the belt, Vivian leaves the ring with a little help from her coach.

Vivian looked good in spells, she has plenty of natural ability, just maybe growing pains as she moves up in class of opponent, judging by the look on her face, she is determined not to get beat again, which at least has to please her coaching staff that she is in this sport with her all.

While Elisha mounts each bottom rope in each corner with her title wrapped around her waist, blowing kisses to the crowd, she heads out the ring when she is done with Nicky to her left, the young fighters coming through in the ACB, FCBA and BBU in the bantamweight division alone is amazing, after tonight Elisha certainly has plenty of options for opponents in future.
