Intro:
We kick off tonight's pay per view with the debut of American Youtuber Michelle Khare making her debut in the BBU. She takes on English fighter Helen Skelton here in Cardiff's BBU Arena. Will it be a dream debut for Michelle or is she going to fall into the trap of thinking the friendly Helen isn't a good fighter?

Michelle has some boxing experience to say the least. The Louisiana native fought Andrea Botez on a Creators Clash boxing card several months ago. Michelle came out on top there, she will hope to remain undefeated in the boxing ring against someone with her own experience prior to the BBU. With Helen beating Camilla Thurlow in her Sports Relief bout back in 2018.

Both took to social media to announce the fight. First Michelle posted "I can announce that I have signed to have a fight in the BBU against Helen Skelton. I have been given her some footage of her fights and she looks a good fighter. I am working my tail off to be ready to show the world what I can do." Showing a photo of what her hard work in the gym has produced.

While Helen posted on her own account "I am getting back into the ring against Michelle Khare. I was impressed by her fight with Andrea Botez. I'll have to bring my best, so back in the gym and get ready to prove I still can fight." Along with her own photo.

Fight Night! Michelle heads out with her coach behind her as she wears a purple robe. She gets the robe removed by her coach to show off her impressive physique in a purple sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, hair tied into a braid as she climbs into the ring. Tapping her gloves as she bounces on her eyes with an intense look on her face.

Helen now heads out with her coach to her right side. She taps her red gloves together as she gets to the ring steps. Getting into the ring wearing a red sports bra, trunks and shoes, hair tied into a braid too. She nods over to Michelle before she stretches her arms to be loose for the fight.

The fighters walk to the center of the ring. Both lock eyes as they try to psyche their opponent out. Bumping gloves with them moments later to show respect before they jog back to their corners. Once they are ready the bell rings to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
There's a nod shared with a touch of their left gloves to show respect before said left gloves are being thrown in jabs. Feeling each other out in the early going as they trade. Michelle looks to up the tempo with a jab/straight into the chest of Helen. She takes a short left cross back on her cheek in response as both start to open up more.

Helen started well but she looks a little slower then her opponent in the second minute of the round as Michelle starts to put together several two and three punch combos. A jab/right cross combo catches Helen through her guard to her face. Michelle then steps inside to work her body as she looks to be growing in confidence.

Nudging back Michelle so she can land a short straight into her face. Helen starts to land more combos as they head towards the end of the round. In the final moments Helen gets caught with a sneaky uppercut that knocks her head back and Michelle is quick to push her against the ropes to pound her body and around her guard. The round ends moments later with Helen not looking so pleased about the shove. Michelle is showing that while she respects Helen, she certainly has the competitive edge.

Round 2:
Helen starting to double up her jab more now as they trade around the middle of the ring. Michelle gets inside to work the body with hooks before being nudged back by Helen. Who fires in her own hooks after landing jabs. The crowd cheering both women on when they exchange flurries.

Stepping back as Michelle looks to close the gap with a left hook. Helen strikes her with a straight onto her nose, a left cross follows to the jaw of the American as Helen shows off her hand speed. Boxing somewhat on the back foot, Helen is making Michelle come to her and is striking her with the cleaner punches to the delight of her corner crew.

Michelle is keeping her guard tighter now after a few more punches test her nose. Having it broken once in a boxing match seems to be playing on her mind somewhat. Helen looking to exploit that as she uses some feints before digging in her punches around the torso of her opponent. At the bell there's a tense stare between them, both are deep into their fighting modes now as gone is the friendliness they started the contest with.

Round 3:
There looks spite as they plant their feet to exchange punches more now. Helen gets caught though with a right hook flush on her chin to make her back off. Michelle decides to hold the middle of the ring and is making Helen work by herding her around the outside.

Both are landing stinging punches as Helen tries to match the younger woman. Problem for her is that the harder punches seem to be coming from Khare. Who drills a jab into the chest of Skelton before she lands an uppercut to knock her back into a neutral corner. Michelle pinning her back against the turnbuckles with hooks flying. Helen drags Michelle into a clinch to stop her. Referee needed to split them apart.

Helen is quick off the mark when they are told to fight on. Michelle needing to learn to start quickly on those breaks. She is forced back towards the ropes after a double jab/straight lands on her face. Michelle covering trying to swing in single punches to back off Helen in the final thirty seconds.

At the bell they walk back to their corners with Helen nodding to her coach as she listens to their advice. Michelle tapping her toes as she looks at Helen, maybe a mixture of nerves and excitement showing itself.

Round 4:
Exchanging around each others faces as they come together. Helen leans out the way of a right cross to land a straight into the face of Michelle. Helen moving more side to side to create different angles as Michelle is swinging more power punches in.

Michelle cools off after the opening minute. Finding herself being forced around the outside part of the ring. Helen found her range it seems but she still gets caught at times when her left hand dips down across her cheek. The crowd whistling and cheering both women on as they are giving their all.

Late in the round Michelle deflects a straight and lands an uppercut to knock back the head of Helen. The older fighter finding herself missed back towards the ropes by pounding body shots from Michelle, when she starts swinging back then Michelle catches her with another uppercut to rock her head. The bell rings with Helen shaking her head to clear it as she returns to her corner. Michelle meanwhile stays standing this time as she taps her gloves.

Round 5:
Clearly Michelle senses Helen is hurt as she steps inside to work on her body. Helen swinging back but gets shoved back by a left forearm. AN UPPERCUT LANDS FLUSH TO SEND HELEN DOWN ONTO HER BACK!

Over to the neutral corner goes Michelle with a smile as she looks at Helen. 1....2....3... Helen blinks as she stares up at the lights. 4....5....6... Helen bends her right leg as she covers her face with her left glove. 7....8....9....10 it's all over! Helen is counted out!

Winner Michelle Khare KO Round 5

After:
Michelle gets her maiden victory in the BBU. She raises her arms in the air as she lets out a "Woo!!" For everyone to hear. She jogs over to her corner to give her coach a firm hug as she is beaming. Nights like these are what makes all the training worth it when you win after all the hard work.

While Helen has to be helped up to sit up by her coach. She is checked over and soon is helped to stand up to a round of applause. Helen has to be helped over to her stool but she does wave to the fans with a small smile that shows she will be ok.

Over comes Michelle once her gloves are taken off. Both having to admit that they got heated, they show plenty of respect to each other. Michelle gets a hug from Helen after the older woman pushes to her feet. Helen admitting that Michelle knows how to punch alright with a wink.

They break apart as Helen leaves the ring to let Michelle have the spotlight. Helen waves to the crowd with a smile. While the defeat has to sting, she enjoyed getting back into the ring after a lay off. She might not be a marque name but she certainly has the technical skills to push any fighters.

In the ring Michelle gets her left hand raised to make her first victory official. Michelle says "that's just the first of many" to a camera near her. She winks after saying that and heads off to each corner to blow kisses to the fans as a thank you to those who supported her.

Climbing out the ring and heading to the back. Michelle carries her gloves on her left hand as she looks like she will be keeping those for the memory of this night. It will be interesting to see where Michelle goes next with her career as she seems keen to test herself.
