BEFORE: It's Cheryl Cole's birthday week and it's quite an important one as she flips "3" over to number "4" in front which is usually the one change that doesn't carry a lot of pride in certain areas. The Lioness entourage doesn't want the birthday party to be spoiled as Cheryl is scheduled to face Miley Cyrus over the weekend as well and it just so happens a County Durham resident Perrie Edwards has never fought the fellow Geordie singer in her career so it's perfect moment to make this fight happen.

Perrie has never cut a tough figure in BBU but she's been a serviceable fighter - even though she lost to Cheryl's ex-bandmate Nadine Coyle twice before. However things are supposed to be different with Geordie pride on the line and maybe the older singer takes this fight for granted and opens a rare upset door with Edwards actually coming off a win to boost her morale!

Cheryl Cole wears a leopard print bikini top, micro jeans shorts & red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a half-up ponytail. Perrie Edwards wears a black bikini top, micro jeans shorts & black gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a high ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Cheryl takes the first spoils pounding away in aggressive fashion and she forces the blonde to adjust to the hectic start which isn't exactly Perrie's top preference. However she doesn't have the mobility to spin away from immediate danger and has to slug it back at the older singer which gives the crowd plenty to celebrate in the opening round. Both women pummel each other with no quarter and it's almost impressive how Edwards survives the test of attrition until she truly takes a wild hook on the nose that sinks her into genuine spasms half way through the final minute. Ugh! That's one break Cole needed but she still runs out of time to complete the demo job even though she clobbers the ailing blonde back to the turnbuckle and tries to knock her head off with a late flurry of punches. Ugh! Just missed it!

Round 2:
Perrie comes out with an aggressive jabbing plan and she probably knows no fancy tactics will be enough to beat the fellow singer here so she has to break Cheryl's spirit one way or another. She does her best carrying solid leather into the brunette's face but the power supply remains a problem since Cole has seen & done it all on both sides of the Atlantic after all. The former Girls Aloud stunner shakes off the blonde's efforts and drills a wild series up the middle in response testing the strenght of Perrie's guard. However the South Shields lass stops those punches with her face and grinds into a halt in the center of the ring while Chezza takes over the slugging dominance in the second half of the round. She carries supreme value into the blonde WAG's face and renders her into punchbag status much faster than the Foxes entourage hoped for, a couple of swings from behind the guard don't make any progress and leave Edwards sagging on the ropes when the ref has to pull Cole away at the bell.

Round 3:
More hard licks crash into Perrie's face and she begins to showcase several nasty lumps out there with Cheryl glued to dissect the leaky high-guard during the round. The aggressive plan meets little resistance while Perrie tries not to look outclassed and still works the single-hand response but doesn't really threaten to land a proper haymaker in the process. Cole takes her foot off the gas nad taunts the South Shields singer to come at her with more authority, she eats a rare hook on the nose but spins away from a follow up attempt and picks the blonde off over the top forcing Edwards to apply the earmuff cover come the final minute. More taunting and shaky blonde defense leaves Chezza in full control after three.

Round 4:
Lioness coach Mel B. tells Cheryl to get on with it and she answers the demand by roasting Perrie from both flanks early in the fourth. A couple of wild shots clip the jaw and wobble the younger singer on her heels before Cole SLAMS a left hook on the nose that draws immediate blood. Ugh! Perrie shouts in sudden pain and fails to raise her gloves when the brunette SMOKES her with another left/right combo that lands square on the nose and pulls the plug on the blonde's resistance. DOWN GOES EDWARDS sliding to her backside and then rolling to her left side with eyes closed. Chezza waves back to the crowd and makes some gestures aimed at the Foxes VIP squad with Ola Jordan and Myleene Klass sitting on Frankie C's lap and it's basically all over in the ring in the mean time. Perrie sit down on her heels and makes no genuine effort to beat the count with blood pouring from her damaged nostrils. She is duly counted out! KO4 Cheryl Cole!!!

AFTER: It was always a bold idea to think that Perrie could even have a puncher's chance to upset the odds, she's more or less on par with most of the flyweight punchbags deluxe and doesn't have the raw power required for sustained success. But she's a crowd favorite in most areas so one can expect the Foxes to milk her glamour status any which way!

Meanwhile Cheryl keeps taunting "old hags" i.e. Myleene and Ola who don't have much desire to fire back at the Geordie brunette who will be on her way to the airport very soon with the true birthday battle versus Miley Cyrus less than 72 hours away: "I did the BBU a proper fan service favor. Smacked that blonde #### up her frickin' ### and then some! I still own this joint even though P4P rankings claim otherwise. Big deal! Watch me knock that filthy hooker Cyrus next!" (winks).
