BEFORE: The Polish Beauty stable is convinced glamour model Ola Ciupa could shake up the divisional order sooner rather than later and she's agreed to take part in a special Pacific Tour of sorts trying to build on the early career success. Front Street Japan quickly answered the call as owner Ayako Hamada believes most of these European glamour models are extremely overrated and Ola beating Alesha Dixon and Clara Morgane - both on the wrong side of 40 - is hardly a reason to hype her stock up. Then again the FSJ bantamweight corps doesn't exactly strike confidence after Harumi Nemoto was traded to Revolution Boxing some time ago. Nozomi Sasaki always gives her best but can't seem to catch that winning spark and one might argue this is her last chance to avoid becoming a full-time journeywoman.

Round 1:
Nozomi wants to set the early tone on home ground but she fails to break through with her initial charge while Ola shows her no respect whatsoever and indicates she's come here to snatch some wigs! A heavy slugging combo tags the Asian girl on the chin and wobbles her backwards which only allows Ciupa to carry more heat straight up the middle. The Tokyo Dome crowd can enjoy a proper war of attrition however it's Nozomi who takes all the hard hits in the process and she has to bail out of the exchange just after the two-minute mark. Woof. Ola keeps hassling her around for remainder of the round but she can't quite land that supreme series anymore and reverts to taunting the home corner once the bell halts the action.

Round 2:
The FSJ entourage gives nothing away during the interval but Nozomi struggles to mount a meaningful comeback in the second and has to switch into pure avoidance rally once Aleksandra nicks her with a couple of hard shots in the mouth. The local girl tries to swing from behind the guard but slices thin air and hardly makes the blonde blink before a left hook on the nose slumps Sasaki into not-so-quiet spasms. Here comes Ciupa again and she takes it to the local favorite blasting her onto the ropes where she shakes off the clinching attempts and keeps working the subdued foe to the body. Nozomi tries to escape the trap but doesn't have the raw power required and sinks on jelly knees when the Polish tourist smacks her in the navel a couple of times. A quick uppercut follow up misses the target but nobody's perfect after all.

Round 3:
Nozomi comes out swinging and manages to land several clean shots into the blonde's face however Ola doesn't seem bothered by this aggressive shift and doesn't even think about backing off here. She accepts the brunette's slugging and matches the leather rally during a back & forth tangle that gives the local crowd something to enjoy otherwise. Both women remain glued into a head-hunting pursuit, Ola maybe found her ways thumping the older model to the body before but she still wants to knock her head off right here... and somehow earns wrath of her corner where former BBU champion Ewelina Lisowska acts as temporary coach on the Pacific trip. Nozomi lands more quick hits to tag the chin thereafter and probably steals the round with a late gut-checking rally that leaves Aleksandra fuming at the bell.

Round 4:
Ciupa restores some European pride by blasting the local favorite straight between the cups and she ducks underneath an aerial swing that wobbles Sasaki into more uppercut menace shortly afterwards. Ola keeps slugging her in close range and gradually works her back to the ropes where Nozomi wants to swing back alas gets beaten to the punch again. More head-hunting mayhem follows and this time it comes with a bonus... Nozomi starts leaking blood just before the two-minute mark and goes haywire trying to make up for the damage... she misses on several of her attempts though and remains stuck on the turnbuckle while the Polish glamour model picks her off for additional artistic impression. Ugh! One last hook spills blood all over the referee's shirt and there's some extended patch-up work being done during the break.

Round 5:
Nozomi jumps into a heavy slugging drill since her nasal damage leaves her living on borrowed time according to BBU TV's Kate Abdo however disaster strikes in the middle of a hectic back & forth when Ola still opens another cut below the left eye before blasting the stunned Asian on the chin with a hard follow through. Uh-oh!!! Nozomi almost goes limp upon impact but manages to stay upright... but she's frozen long enough the blonde girl has all the time to SMOKE her with a vicious right hook on the eye... DOWN GOES SASAKI crashing on flat on her back in dead meat fashion with more blood pouring from the facial cuts. Ugh! She's rocked very hard by that punch but she never saw it coming in first place. Coach Kei Mizutani suspects it's all over and picks up the towel but the referee waves off the count at six since he also realizes Nozomi has been smoked into a heavy defeat right here. KO5 Ola Ciupa!!!

AFTER: The verdict is still out how dangerous the Polish glamour model can be yet there's more evidence she can truly blast a hardcore punch which bodes well for her future prospects. Fellow blonde Paula Tumala has made an equally promising start to her career but it's Aleksandra's time to shine for the moment and she vows to continue the Pacific tour either in Japan or Australia in the upcoming weeks: "Yeah, I can stay around to see if Ms Hamada has the courage to offer me a second fight. If not I'll wait for Ewelina's mystery clash and then we'll see if the Australian winter is actually still warmer than European summer!" (winks).
