BEFORE: One can't get away from beach boxing during summer months for very long and two highly-qualified models make another appearance in Dubai where Robin Holzken wants to stretch her muscles before the big money clash versus Alessia Uva next month. It just so happened the Italian model scored a good win only few hours ago so perhaps Robin decided she needs another battle test after knocking out Bianca Balti back in April. The BBU fans can't complain about this decision whatsoever even though Czech veteran Karolina Kurkova has plenty of support around the Middle East sands as well.

Robin Holzken wears a Sports Illustrated pink one-piece swimsuit with her name painted on the midriff and silver gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curled ponytail. Karolina Kurkova wears a pink bikini set & black gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Both women are barefoot. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Robin takes off early but misfires on the slugging route and allows the blonde to cash in with a solid counter-punching dose before a looping hook slams the brunette on the nose and wobbles her off the aggressive stance. Karolina duly follows through with a quick jabbing drive and bounces the younger model around the area but she fails to trap her along the ropes and has to weave around a late response since Holzken reboots her challenge and still wants to steal the early spoils - only for Karolina to smack her with more accurate head shots to claim the round on points anyway!

Round 2:
Robin is up early for the second and she sends a heavy jabbing dose to trigger a back & forth tussle in the center of the ring. That makes the crowd raise the noise level and both models keep adding to the experince by bashing each other around; Karolina holds her own as she drives in more leather up the middle and she rattles the favored brunette off her stance before lining a left hook on the jaw that makes Robin gurgle in pain. She felt that one good and the Czech veteran fires more punches on the rebound hoping to catch another positive bounce. She backs the briefly stunned Holzken onto the ropes and drops more body hits to sink the younger model into even more spasms as she runs away with the second round on points and leaves the Dutch girl visibly bemused at the bell.

Round 3:
Karolina tries to extend her advantage but she's made Robin lose the laid-back approach so it's all fireworks in the third with the Dutch model leading the charge as she nails the blonde veteran up the chimney and drills her to the body in a furious attempt to capture the momentum. Kurkova struggles to embrace the heat but avoids a complete disaster catching some respite in the clinch alas Holzken shoves her back before the ref can react and drops more aerial bombs to keep the blonde moving around the sand. Karolina doesn't quite have the speed to match the younger rival and gets tagged with several quick bombs but she tries to keep it close and works the overhand response managing to stay in the center of the ring despite Robin's best efforts for remainder of the round.

Rounds 4 & 5:
Holzken takes over after busting the Czech model in the stomach and the close range action leaves the older woman in hectic retreat once the brunette threatens to inflict more damage downstairs. A couple of headbutts delays the show but it's almost like Karolina profits from it even though Robin is visibly more committed into the slugging procedure. Both models exchange heavy hits from point-blank range and the Dutch woman appears to be upset she can't quite break the blonde's resilience just yet. More of the same in the fifth where Holzken carves more visible marks around Kurkova's ribcage but only shakes her around after thumping an uppercut combo on the jaw. Karolina dekes to the side at the last moment but cuts a spooked figure weaving around the sand and gets tracked onto the turnbuckle where Robin slams a left/right cross on each temple to sink the veteran into loud spasms right at the bell.

Round 6:
Robin fires a left hook and then beats Karolina for the follow through that opens a bloody gash across the nasal ridge. The Lioness fighter wants to prevent the ineviteable slugging tangle but she's dragged into the vacuum anyway and has to swing for the fences... but Robin remains the superior model and she cripples the Czech foe with another uppercut series on the jaw. Uh-oh!!! Karolina goes all numb and drops her gloves low enough the brunette simply BLOWS HER UP with a brutal right hook on the ear. And with it she DROPS Kurkova face-down on the sand before gesturing to the referee to wave off the count. "She is done here, sir!" Well, that's a bold statement but not exactly wrong since Karolina makes no genuine effort to rise again and remains splattered on the sand while the Dubai audience conducts the loud count together with the referee until it finally reaches ten. All over! KO6 Robin Holzken!!!

AFTER: No mercy finish from the Dutch prospect who claims her seventh win in a row and demands to be in conversation for the Top 5 lightweight ranking if not something more elusive! BBU TV's Denise van Outen believes the 26-year old might as well shoot for the straps IF she takes care of Alessia Uva next month amid rumours that particular fight will be elevated into official lightweight title eliminator status.
