BEFORE: New BBU week kicks off with an international clash between two models and both Alina Vacariu and Sarah Brandner promise to knock each other out in vintage one-punch fashion. The Lanxess Arena crowd wants Brandner to take off one way or another but she's played second fiddle to Toni Garrn on the Black Eagles roster so it's anyone's guess if she emerges as a viable threat in the division anytime soon. Meanwhile Alina claims she's good enough to become a lineal champion if all of her losses came versus true elite opponents including Hailey Clauson and Romee Strijd.

Alina Vacariu wears a blue bikini set & yellow gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a braid. Sarah Brandner wears a red bikini set & golden gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a high ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
Sarah makes a quick start and rides the cheering wave from the audience to land some crisp punches up the middle however Alina shakes them off to trigger an overhand response and forces the blonde to improve her work rate down the stretch. Both models keep plugging along for a while before they realize they won't land that one-punch lights out hit anytime soon so they circle back and revert into single-hand tryout which takes the steam out of the room in the final minute. Eagles coach Gina Wild doesn't like that tactical change from Brandner and urges her to be more aggressive ASAP in the second round.

Round 2:
Another quick start from the local favorite but she bounces off the brunette's stubborn guard and leaks a counter-punching response over the top which gives Vacariu more confidence as she lands more punches on target in the process. Both models engage in a furious head-hunting charge though and Sarah simply doesn't want to give the other woman any additional advantage however she fails to carry enough shots to halt the Romanian's progress and eats a vicious series up the middle that leaves her nursing a couple of visible lumps around the lips. She tries to stay in the slugging lane but Alina outworks her from point blank range and pummels her back to the corner where Eagles coach Gina Wild begins to lose her temper already.

Round 3:
Alina carries more juice into the blonde's face and adds additional lumps while forcing the German into a hectic and ineffective response during a trigger-happy exchange in the opening minute. Both women try to knock each other heads off and the somewhat predictable attacks still make the Hamburg crowd satisfied... until Alina whacks a hard right on Sarah's nose and spills a solid dose of blood in the process. Ugh! The nasal wound finally makes the local favorite think better off it and she spends majority of the round circling away from more contact while Vacariu still stalks her back to the corner where she drops some heavy harpoons on the exposed stomach as Brandner disappears behind a desperate earmuff which makes Gina Wild extremely annoyed during the interval.

Round 4:
Sarah tries to find her slugging ways again but she gets outworked by the supreme opponent and grinds to a halt in the center of the ring while Alina rips more head shots on target to extend her advantage. Brandner heaves one over the top but misses high & wide while Vacariu cracks immediate hook from the inside to tag the ailing blonde on the chin. Ugh! Sarah wobbles onto her heels and doesn't raise her arms fast enough so the Romanian tourist NAILS her with another drilling hook on the nose which sends the local model DOWN ONTO HER BACKSIDE amid a series of jeers from the Hamburg audience. Uh-oh!!! Sarah looks shaken up even when she battles through the count and rises to her feet at seven. She tries to charge ahead and make immediate contact with the brunette's face but only gets swallowed by more hard licks and gets pounded back to the ropes where Alina rains more punches on target and blows the German up wholesale. Sarah descends into a yelping punchbag status and can't contain any of these attacks anymore so Alina duly knocks her OUT with another uppercut series on the chin. She folds the blonde down into a sobbing heap and the referee doesn't even bother with the count! KO4 Alina Vacariu!!!

AFTER: One might argue the Romanian model is more than ready to occupy top places in the welterweight ranking but it's anyone's guess how far she can actually go given she's not the youngest member of the proverbial herd anymore. Meanwhile there's a reason why Sarah Brandner remains stuck behind Toni Garrn on the stable pecking order. She doesn't really have the superior punching power or the required resistance to trouble some of these elite prospects like Vacariu. It's not a bad thing to settle down as solid gatekeeper but that appears to be the blonde's ceiling for better or worse.
