BEFORE: Kelly Reilly's boxing career never really took off in the last decade but the Surrey redhead vows to make up for it in the unofficial cougar division where she's not without a chance to boost her underwhelming record. She got some extra practice throwing punches on 'Yellowstone' TV series as well but her comeback starts with a tricky opponent in Kate Lawler who's an aggressive slugger and always goes for the knockout punch regardless of circumstances.

Kelly Reilly wears a white crop top, jeans shorts & black gloves. Carrot red hair tied in a custom ponytail. Kate Lawler wears a black crop top, jeans shorts & blue gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Kate tries to stamp her authority on the cougar battle straight from the opening bell and delivers a quick head-hunting charge that leaves Kelly a little exposed but she avoids immediate trouble despite the blonde knocking her head around with gusto. The Wembley Arena audience doesn't seem to have a designated favorite here so the cheers are evenly matched when the redhead eventually finds her response over the top. Kelly smacks a couple of hard shots on each temple and slams a left hook on the nose but the otherwise aggressive Kate refuses to back off and stays in the slugging lane dropping more leather up the middle. Both women eventually clash heads to take the steam out yet Kate still grabs Kelly into a headlock and whacks her on the kidneys to trigger some jeers from the crowd.

Rounds 2 & 3:
Kelly beats the blonde for pace during the next couple of rounds and avoids getting sucked into an all-out battle of attrition despite Lawler's taunting efforts down the stretch. Kelly throws less punches but appears to make better contact and gives Kate a fat lip before looping more counter-punching menace that slows the younger cougar down for good. Kate doesn't carry much zip from her hips and bounces off the redhead's forearms which makes her even more vocal later on. Meanwhile Reilly weathers the chaotic slugging storm and keeps picking Lawler off until she spills some blood from her nose half-way through the third and the proverbial floodgates open from there as the Surrey actress clobbers a stunned opponent back to the ropes and signs off with a brutal liver punch that sinks Lawler into loud spasms at the bell.

Round 4:
Kate wants to regain the early momentum but gets busted with a scything cross on the chin and slumps into more point-blank range heat she's unable to match during the opening minute. Kelly beats her for sheer pace and flushes her out into mid-range where Kate stumbles in retreat and gets trapped with more head shots that exposed her high-guard as vastly inferior to say the very least. One wild swing tags the redhead on the nose but that's nowhere near enough to slow her progress and Kelly duly thumps an ailing blonde back to the turnbuckle where she lands more body shots to slump her foe into all kinds of bother... and the bell comes to the rescue! Kate looks hurts though and...

Round 5:
...she struggles to prevent a slugging frenzy bashing her into a standstill early in the fifth. Kelly blows through her high-guard and knocks her head back before spilling more red paint. Uh-oh! Kate tries to swing one more time and opens up way too much so Reilly duly SMOKES her with a chin-checking thunder punch! AND THAT'S ALL LAWLER WROTE as she collapses in a heap with her eyes closed moments later!!! Ref gives her a quick look but it's over! KO5 Kelly Reilly!!!

AFTER: Impressive finish from Kelly who blows a kiss to the cameras and tells the viewers she's ready to fight anyone on the north side of forty anywhere & anytime. And that includes Una Healy in bare knuckles if neccessary! However that might be a tactical challenge since the Irish singer is scheduled to fight Jennifer Metcalfe first!
