Amy Jackson vs Christine Bleakley

BEFORE: There is a genuine hope Amy Jackson can become a serious contender after she signed with the Garnet Gunners but she has to prove her worth in the ring and she starts off against the veteran Lioness Christine Bleakley who is a valid benchmark for anyone trying to move up the divisional ladder. The Irish TV presenter realizes her main job is to verify the media hype of other women these days and even she admits Amy is a great unknown which isn't exactly a positive thing. BBU TV's Georgie Thompson believes this will be a proper slugging contest between two proud women so let's join them in the Cardiff Arena after these commercials.

Amy Jackson wears a black bikini set & red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Christine Bleakley wears a turquoise crop top, black hip-huggers & white gloves. Long black hair tied in a braid. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Amy lands some early hooks up the middle and tries out the veteran's high guard before blasting her on the nose so Christine has to find a response but she fails to make the intended impression and allows Jackson to bulldoze her back to the ropes. Amy keeps working the high-octane attack and rips more punches on target while Bleakley tries to find a counter-punching rhythm but still gets outworked by the fellow brunette and begins to gurgle in anger once she gets smacked with more clean shots over the top. Jackson maintains the foot on the slugging gas and buries the Irish woman behind a tight earmuff come the final stretch and signs off a dominant spell with a vicious harpoon on the midriff that sinks Christine into more spasms at the bell.

Round 2:
Jackson picks up the slugging heat again and splits the Irish high-guard while wobbling the older brunette onto her heels. Christine tries to swing back from this inferior position alas she can't do much about Jackson's uptempo charge and ends up getting pounded back to the ropes where she manages to lock a clinching stalemate that takes some air out of this contest for a while. However Amy breaks free down the stretch and lands more body shots to hurt the Irish brunette before clipping her boobs on the way up. Christine lands a promising left hook on the nose but loses out on the slugging exchange by the numbers if only Amy cuts a frustrated pose over some late taunting from the Lioness corner.

Round 3:
Christine gets on with the early jabbing but her punches don't carry enough weight to trouble the Isle of Man brunette who drops the slugging hammer down the stretch and lands more leather square on target while Bleakley's footwork leaves her stranded in the center of the ring. The only way for the Irish veteran to escape immediate trouble is to slug herself out of the hole but she's unable to do that and gets blitzed back to the ropes where Jackson keeps rolling with the heat to the point she buries Christine behind a tight earmuff again. She rips into her midsection to further extend her advantage though and it's getting ugly for the Ulsterwoman who struggles to find any counter-punching response while leaking more damage to the body for remainder of the round. Woof. No wonder Bleakley looks gimpy when she walks back to her corner since all those body punches 'had' to hurt one way or another.

Round 4:
Amy clocks in with more head shots but quickly drifts low to drill into the Irish midriff and Christine succumbs to the pressure before too long; she can't quite clinch the aggressive actress anymore and gets overrun back to the ropes where she gets battered with relentless intensity until she simply TAKES A KNEE to catch any sort of respite. Amy struts back to her corner with a beaming smile and coach Mel B. duly throws in the towel with Christine shaking her head even upon getting up at eight. She's simply had enough of this. TKO4 Amy Jackson!!!

AFTER: One has to agree the Isle of Man brunette looked extremely comfortable during this fight but she needs a better test to justify the emerging hype going forward. That shouldn't be a problem given the Gunners' management and Amy is open for a late addition to the upcoming PPV however it remains to be seen if anyone picks up that offer on short notice.
