Emma Roberts (31, 5’2, 98 lbs, 35:19 FCBA, The Dollhouse) Vs Cree Cicchino (20, 5’3, 110 lbs, 24:7 FCBA, Italians Boxing Better)
Results: Lookout!; Story: Caspian & The Dollhouse
BEFORE: Emma Roberts not mincing her words during the pre-fight press conference earlier, rolling her eyes at the mere sight of Cree Cicchino seated at the other end of the long table. The Dollhouse fighter takes her time, soaking in the cheers and applause from the room, before settling into her seat with a wide grin on her face.
“I’ve been hearing a lot and seeing a lot of this Cree b*tch since she joined the FCBA. WAY too much if you ask me. Don't get me wrong, seeing her demolish Avril was the highlight of my month, but...Av beat her this year, so that was a huge letdown, and besides that... she's been running her mouth everywhere and being a general nuisance,” Emma says with a cocky nod. “That's a little much from someone barely 20 years old. My plan is to shut her up tonight, plain and simple. Her being ranked higher than me in the division is an embarrassment to the entire league. I'll fix that tonight.”
Cree, of course, is one of the recent Flyweights who has taken the FCBA by storm, dominating the division with 15 wins in just her first year of becoming active. More recently, she may have fallen to Natalie Portman, but in between that setback, she came away with decisive victories against the likes of Sadie Sink and Katherine McNamara.
“Roberts is going down, just like her softy stablemate,” Cree laughs with a wide smirk. “All these Dollhouse girls are all talk and no action. Once my fists find their tummies, all they can do is sob into my arms and break down. That’s what’s going to happen to dear Emma tonight: I’m gonna stick my gloves into her body and walk away only after she begs me to let her go.”
Heated face-off at the podium moments later as Cree and Roberts come within an inch of kissing, that one inch of height on Roberts isn’t doing Cree many favors, as her more rounded figure might mean she will have to rely on her punching power for this fight. Ladies almost come to blows when Emma pokes a finger into Cree’s chest, with Cree shaking her head before pretending to lunge a punch at the Doll. Luckily, the fight officials are on hand to break things up before they get ugly. Hours later, Emma Roberts makes a grand entrance into the arena first, a sly smirk on the corner of her lips as the spotlights descend upon her on the stage, the Dollhouse blonde striking a confident pose with her hands outstretched to either side. Her blonde hair in a tight ponytail and she’s wearing her ring-gear of pink sports bra and long white tights with the words ‘ROBERTS’ emblazoned down the thigh, before strutting down the ramp and waving enthusiastically to her fans in the crowd. Up next is Miss Cicchino, who does a little shimmy of her hips and dances her way into the arena to the beat of Latin music. Cicchino is wearing a silver bikini top and short black tights, her dark hair in a bun and she’s raising a pair of grey gloves high into the air when the announcer calls her by name.
In the ring, ladies are already set in their respective fighting stances: arms up and hovering over their chins, ready to roar inwards at the sight of the referee’s signal. There’s the wave of the hand and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!
ROUND 1: For all her tough talk, Emma Roberts knows that Cree is as dangerous an opponent as they come, and chooses to stay at a safe distance once the bell rings. She initiates with several jabs at Cree’s head, testing out the IBB starlet’s defenses, and is pleasantly surprised when one or two of her jabs connect with Cree’s lips and nose. Cree’s shocked by the older woman’s speed, her arms flailing uselessly in front of her face and almost powerless to intercept Emma’s early attacks. But cross the middle mark, Cree’s responding with her own patented power, taking a one-two to the chin before shocking Roberts right back with a hard hook to her arms or body, but mostly her body. Emma grunts for the umpteenth time after another low hook stuns her to the side stomach, making her lurch forward dangerously. Cree’s smirking back at her own power, already pushing Roberts backwards and towards the ropes in the very first round, and no amount of counter jabs is turning the tide. Cree makes up for her slow start, as she punishes the Doll all the way to the bell, with Roberts looking a little lost and disappointed when the bell finally rings.
ROUND 2: Roberts makes a run for it after a bad opening round, but she’ll need to do a whole lot more to get away from Cicchino’s youthful energies. Cree simply rushes in to make up for that lost space, going south to snag the pale tummy or up high to stun Roberts with another overhand to the middle of her arms. Roberts is too slow, almost getting herself trapped against the ropes at multiple junctures of this round, her arms and head battered to one side before the Doll manages to slip out of the danger zone to resume her jabs at Cree’s head. Not going too well for the Doll, as Cree doesn’t give her any time or room to breathe, immediately wading in after her, with her elbows chugging in and out and low, a couple more chops to her stomach to end the round again wide in her favor.
ROUND 3: The situation is dire indeed for Miss Roberts, who’s playing it defensively for now, but that stance is not really working out against an overly aggressive opponent. Cree’s chugging in like the little engine that could, once more chasing Roberts down and wailing away at her arms with rapid punches and her torso once in range. But it’s clear the IBB starlet is slowly tiring herself out, her hooks getting intercepted more and more easily by Roberts rapidly moving guard, and Emma herself is starting to fight back with a snagging hook to the chin here, another snap uppercut to the jawline there to stun Cree back close to the end of the round. Cicchino shakes her head and the pain out of her system, however, STILL coming in hot to brawl, and Emma just needs to hold onto her marbles in the final seconds if she wants to come out alive. Cree smashes a final hook into the Doll’s arms, which sends Emma spiraling off to the side, but the Doll still remains upright, with the bell ringing to save her. Good lord though - Miss Roberts has YET to win a single round for herself, wearily raising a hand on her way back to her corner to show she ain’t giving up. Perhaps facing off against one of Avril’s hated rivals may not be the best way forward for the blonde?
ROUND 4: Both girls get right back into the thick of it, with Cree charging in once more but taking more incoming damage on the way in. Emma capitalizes on her opponent’s lethargy, snapping jabs and even hooks into her arms and off the temple to stun Cree slightly, till Cree herself rocks her back with a strapping hook to the body. Roberts just can’t catch a break, heaving and breathing hard as Cicchino traps her briefly against the ropes and drills another fist into the midsection to fold her over. But Emma manages to clinch up with her next, controlling Cree against the ropes after turning her over and exploiting her tiredness. Ladies spend the rest of the round batting fists off each other’s flanks, with Emma showing renewed signs of promise when she knocks an illegal elbow off the side of Cree’s chin, much to the protest of the IBB corner. But the referee didn’t see or say anything, and Roberts struts back to her own corner with a sly smirk on her face.
ROUND 5: Cree looks stunned and definitely breathing a lot harder when the bell rings to start the fifth. It’s a slow first minute as they both circle and jab at the head and body, neither girl willing to take a risk at this point of the fight, and merely content at putting the other girl on notice. Emma, however, soon takes advantage of Cree’s sluggishness, using her own stored reserves to pound and pepper the Italian actress’ face with jabs and sleek crosses, a particularly nasty fist sunk into the nose to snap Cree’s head back with a loud grunt. Cree’s corner is obviously worried for their girl, shouting at her back to try on some defenses for herself. But Cicchino needs more time to adjust, opting to lock her arms to protect her aching jawline at the expense of her exposed body, which allows Emma to sink several punches straight in to close the bell.
ROUND 6: Roberts has come alive here, stalking the younger fighter and pushing her back repeatedly throughout the round! Cree’s moving like a totally different fighter compared to the first half of this fight, groaning and letting out sharp yelps as the punches come sailing into her face and body, with Roberts also throwing the occasional feint towards her head to get the youngster to raise her guard, before shocking her with a hook to her ribs, or another uppercut shoved into her stomach. OUCH! Cree’s getting folded in half, her lips hanging open, beaten back into the ropes at one point, where Emma attempts to rock her to the side and off her feet, but lacks the punching power to properly put her away. Last few seconds and Cree actually scares her off with a sudden swing of her own, and Emma’s head almost gets taken off as well, if not for her sudden weave backwards. A good round for Miss Roberts, who takes the biggest round of the evening thus far.
ROUND 7: Cree’s failure to put her foe away earlier in the fight is coming back to bite her badly. The IBB starlet is still gulping in large swaths of air, while the Dollhouse’s Ice Queen’s excellent stamina is on full display once again as the blonde shoots out of her corner looking ready to kill. Roberts engages immediately, rocking straight punches to Cicchino’s nose in the first seconds of the round, rippling leather inwards and then lunging at her face with more heavy, thudding action. Cree’s arms are slowly wavering, too slow to intercept the blazing quick offense from Roberts and too weak to retaliate. Cicchino’s head gets snapped backwards after Emma plants her feet in the ground and RIPS another cross in to daze her badly, pushing her into the corner with a grunt. Roberts shows NO mercy, roaring in to torch the Italian girl’s belly with more lefts and rights, then going up high to knock Cree’s head silly from side to side. Cicchino lets out a final grunt when an uppercut connects with the base of her chin, Emma rocketing a right hand inwards and up with an OUUGFFGGGHH, and Cree can only SLIDE down the turnbuckle, looking absolutely spent and sputtering!! The IBB girl pools down in a corner of the ropes, her head rolling to one side, as Emma Roberts spins back around and raises her hands high to the cheers of the crowd! The referee doesn’t waste any time, taking a hard look at Cree’s KO’ed face before waving his arms rapidly overhead! This fight is OVER!
Official Decision: Emma Roberts defeats Cree Cicchino via KO7!
AFTER: HUGE brutal win for Emma Roberts proving once again why many consider her the Dollhouse’s top flyweight (Lavigne fans may disagree) and that’s her 4th win in a row ladies and gents! But the Ice Queen Is NOT done! Emma immediately marching back towards the fallen Italian star who’s leaning spent against the corner and SMASHING her white boot into the poor girl’s neck, chocking Cicchino against the post!
“Now BEG me to let you go, b*tch.” Roberts hisses, using Cicchino’s own early words against her as she stares down from above at her gurgling opponent, with Cree doing her best to dislodge the Doll’s boot away from her neck but is way too woozy and weak from the beating to have enough power to move her tormentor’s leg one bit.
The IBB star remains defiant and only groans in response as her team quickly enter the ring to try and put a stop to this, but doesn’t last more than a few more seconds when Emma wickedly pushes her entire weight down onto her neck, crushing the helpless girl’s neck against the corner post and Cicchino PASSES OUT! – the brunette’s eyes roll into her head and her arms going completely limp at her sides as she lies on the mat unmoving! WOW! If she wasn’t completely out cold by the end of this fight, she sure is now!
Emma’s ‘FINISH HER!’ moment comes to an abrupt end though when the blonde is forcibly pushed aside by the IBB team before they kneel down to revive their fighter. The victorious Doll chuckling to herself as she steps away, letting Cree’s team do their job. Roberts walks away from her prey, hands on her hips, circling the ring and waving to her ecstatic fans before walking over to her own corner and high fiving Carmen Electra and the rest of her team.
It's a big statement win for the Ice Queen and one that will surely bump her a few places in the rankings come September. Emma may have started this year in catastrophic fashion but the veteran has managed to bounce back big with 4 straight wins over good competition. This Doll definitely wants another shot at the belt this year and is doing anything necessary to achieve that!
Right before marching out of the arena, Roberts is stopped for a short interview and “Cicchino’s not smart enough or skilled enough to beat me. Glad I shut the b*tch up for a bit. Everyone should be thanking me. If she wants to win she should go pick on someone as mediocre and low intelligence as she is - Avril for example, and stay the hell out of my way, because I’m WAY too good for her!.”
And judging by the crowd’s reaction, not many disagree!
