BEFORE: Polish model Sandra Kubicka is determined to keep her Tractorpull Magazine Top 10 watch alive and she's booked a fight against allegedly one of the most overlooked Australian talents Phoebe Tonkin for tonight's PPV action. Tonkin is no stranger to hard schedule but that's maybe a reason she fell out of favor with the match-makers since her original 2012 breakthrough when she beat Margot Robbie under simguy's watch! Hard to imagine she hasn't had an official fight since 2017 and even BLONDE! Magazine pundits wonder what the Sydney native has been doing in the mean time!
Sandra steals the walk-on like only a true hip-shaking models can but Phoebe gives her an emphatic bytch stare and barely grazes the leather when ref tells them to touch gloves during the introductions.
Sandra Kubicka wears a yellow bikini set & silver gloves. Long dyed blonde hair tied in a curled ponytail. Phoebe Tonkin wears a teal green bikini set & golden gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a braid. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.
Round 1:
Sandra dominates the initial jabbing tangle and knocks a couple of hard hits into the brunette's face before driving a harpoon around the liver area that really forces Phoebe off her comfort zone. The Aussie actress remains visibly rusty during the opening minute and only tries to avoid the blonde's punches instead of showing any offensive ideas. Sandra takes full advantage of her opponent's lacklustre demeanour but fails to bury her under a significant leather barrage and has to fend off some desperate clinching attempts in the final minute.Phoebe manages to lock the Polish woman down and even shoves her against the turnbuckle which causes a bit of an uproar in the stands.
Round 2:
Phoebe manages to stick the leather into the blonde's face first and targets the head-hunting route thereafter forcing Sandra to weave around the slugging approach that suddenly makes this fight look way more competitive that it was in the opening round. Phoebe refuses to drop the aerial pounce even though most models are allegedly vulnerable to the body and this otherwise one-dimensional attack still allows the Oz actress to dominate the action as she picks Kubicka off and outworks her down the stretch. Lioness coach Claudia Schiffer stays calm until the very last moment when a booming right hook catches the blonde on the temple and slumps her on the heels which allows Tonkin to bash more body shots that cripples Sandra into loud spasms come the bell.
Round 3:
Sandra regains the aggressive mojo and flies in with several hard licks into the brunette's face; Tonkin refuses to buckle at first but has to work around the head-hunting approach and bails out into mid-distance once Kubicka rattles her on each temple. The back & forth duking continues with both women staying in the head-hunting lane however the sheer precision goes away here until Sandra submaries a gut punch that barely stays above the waist-line. Phoebe barks in anger but misses her overhand swing and has to soak up more body strikes as the Polish model moves in to clean up her midsection and drives her butt-in-ropes to close out the round.
Rounds 4 & 5:
Phoebe jumps into a trigger-happy attack and seems to have totally shaken off the proverbial rust by this stage. Sandra matches her jabbing performance but fails to land a genuine heater and gets dragged into a phone booth power struggle that Tonkin turns into her favor come the final minute. A clash of heads has Kubicka fuming late in the fourth when the brunette shuts her down with more shots on the rack and she takes it from there in the fifth when she laces more gut shots on target to slow the younger woman right down. Sandra gets verbally upset and tries headlocks the Aussie operator at one stage before getting blasted back to the ropes as Tonkin flashes more of the old flame that saw her force Charlize Theron into a fortunate one point duke back in 2014. Oh yeah, Phoebe still has it and she pummels Kubicka into a standstill along the ropes before scything her across the mouth for a good measure. Woof. Sandra reaches the half-way mark with visibly swollen lips and she's not a happy camper here at all.
Round 6:
All hell breaks loose early in the sixth when Sandra just goes for broke with a haymaker-seeking slugfest and Phoebe simply accepts the challenge... only to regret it thirty seconds into the round when the blonde rungs her up with a brutal left/right combo followed by a mean uppercut stretch on the jaw. Woof. Tonkin almost tweaks her ankle as she tries to pivot away from the striking zone and ends up taking a faceful of leather anyway as Sandra smashes another combo over the top... she adds a quick double on the chin and beats the brunette for one right-on-right swing... Tonkin gets caught flush on the jaw and goes south upon impact! She hits the deck flat on her back with eyes closed and doesn't get any help from the ref who issues a quick count here. By the time Phoebe regains her presence of mind it's up to seven already and she simply cannot beat it out!!! KO6 Sandra Kubicka in a mild come-from-behind fashion!!!
AFTER: Huge roar from the Polish model who seems more upset over some of the rounds she lost tonight as Phoebe really gave her a solid challenge despite coming off a lenghty period of inactivity. This was anything but a resident streamroll and Sandra knows she has to do better if she's going to collect on that Tractorpull Top 10 promise. The Lioness entourage admits they've accepted a fighting offer for mid-August already but there's every chance Kubicka comes back to fight on the beach boxing PPV as well. Over to Eva Mendes for details: "It's very much go time for Sandra while we navigate the crowded lightweight division. Just look at Phoebe T., one day she was pushing the GOAT into a one point duke and then she couldn't even get a COVID Relief undercard appearance. You can fall off people's radar very fast if you're not careful enough. We will not make any match-making mistakes especially with Tess Valmore showing signs of interest. There is money to be made with Sandra pulling the trailer. Stay tuned, folks!"
