Intro:
For you Sports Illustrated fans this should be a treat as former Rookie of the year and newly crown BBU welterweight Champion Josephine Skriver stands in one corner, across from her is the woman who headlines more Sports Illustrated magazines it seems then anyone else, the future FCBA Hall of Famer Kate Upton, which of these gorgeous models will emerge on top?

Coming into the bout, Josephine is on a high after finally defeating Karen Gillan at her third attempt, claiming the BBU welterweight title off her, ironically Kate Upton also defeated Karen Gillan last month, in her case on the FCBA PPV.

Before the contest both gave a few words to the media, Josephine spoke to the FCBA Networks Layla Anna-Lee at a coffee shop, Josephine all smiles in her black dress, talking about life over coffee before they get down to business, Josephine firmly telling Layla "I have been waiting around a long time for this chance at Kate" gripping her mug with both hands, looking like a firm grip maybe showing annoyance at that fact.

Josephine continues "see I have watched Kate box the other Sports Illustrated girls year after year, not looking at me once, yet I have in my short career given Amanda Righetti a headache here, beaten several top fighters, only now when I win the BBU title that she makes the challenge, she has slept on my talent too long, I will make her pay come the pay per view" taking a drink when she finishes.

Layla has one remaining question, will Josephine be focused purely on the BBU from now on or will she try to fight in both the FCBA and BBU, that makes the Danish beauty smile as she answers "well if I am offered an FCBA title fight I will certainly take it, I'd love to be a unified champion, at the same time though I am representing the BBU in this fight and I am going to be a fighting champion, I won't be hiding in the FCBA" nodding to Layla before they shake hands to finish the interview.

Meanwhile Kate maybe trying to prove a point did her interview to Sports Illustrated, sitting at her home in a red dress. Kate showed off all her replica titles she had won to the cameras, then sat down to discuss her life before getting to the main reason she wanted them, to talk about this bout.

Kate tells the interviewer when asked about Josephine "she finally actually did something to get my notice, I heard she was belly aching that I haven't even mentioned her name before when it comes to people I want to fight, let's be clear on her, while I have been the Queen of the ring and of your front cover, Josephine has scratched and clawed just to get a mention, she will never attain the levels I have" harsh statement by the legend.

She then adds "once I sweep her aside I hope Josephine wishes I never batted an eye in her direction, this will be a schooling for her, afterwards maybe I should go back to the BBU to take her title" grinning like a Cheshire cat about that, maybe trying to intimidate Josephine.

Fight night, first through the curtain comes Josephine with her coach Taryn Terrell and cut woman Eva Carneiro, she has the BBU title wrapped around her waist, while she is wearing a maroon sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, hair is braided as she jogs down the aisle, Taryn helps take off the title belt to hold onto it, Josephine steps into the ring with a smile on her face, looking excited to finally match up with Upton.

Who doesn't make her wait as here comes Kate with Nicole Kidman following, Kate grinning as she walks with swagger to the ring, wearing a gold coloured sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, she soon climbs into the ring tapping her chest with her right glove while eyeing up Josephine with a smirk.

Ordered to the center of the ring by the referee, both women bounce on their toes as they lock eyes, they crack their gloves into their opponent's set in the fist bump, not a lot of love here as they jog back over to their corners, nodding to the referee they are ready, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
Out steps the fighters with their eyes locked on their opponent, trading stiff single punches to begin as they box around the center, Josephine steps back with several jabs into the face of the oncoming Kate, looking to keep the hard hitting blonde on the outside, dancing on her toes with Kate not looking worried at all by it.

Stepping in under a straight, Kate buries in a right to the abs of Josephine, then drives her back to the ropes after landing a jab under the chin of the BBU champion, followed by a right cross, Josephine looking to fight her way off the ropes, but she is being crowded by Upton, who is whacking away with her hooks to make Skriver groan out till she can hold onto her.

Broken up and now resuming fighting, Kate is pushing the action as she walks forwards, keeping Josephine herded towards the ropes, then cutting the ring off as she drives in with a jab/straight into the face of Skriver to snap her head back and drive her into a neutral corner, where she pins Josephine as she tries to work the body up until the bell rings, great start for "The Queen" as she jogs back to her corner, Josephine nodding as she returns to her own corner, knowing she is in for a rough fight.

Round 2:
Back at it they go around the center of the ring, Kate looking to keep the pressure on her opponent, getting caught to her forehead by straight punches, while she fires several back into the chest of Josephine, Kate landing a few solid body shots as they enter the second minute, taking a hard left cross near her eye in reply to make Kate back off.

This time Josephine is pushing forwards, Kate looks a little worried about her eye, keeping her right up then really firing it, allowing Josephine to fire more punches without as much coming her way, Kate showing a strong defence to block a good amount of hits coming her way.

Late in the round Kate comes out her shell more as she looks assured her eye is OK, trading with Josephine but is being outworked as the Danish beauty is in full flow now, slamming in punches around the cheeks of Kate when she moves back to counter punch, looking happy when the bell rings, Kate taps her gloves together a little annoyed about tensing up after the hit around her eye, with Nicole telling her she is OK as they check on her.

Round 3:
Trying to enforce her will on the fight, Kate is stepping in more quickly, landing away to the body Josephine, sticking in closer even as she takes several clean hits around the sides of her head, making Josephine retreat back to create space to land a jab/straight into the top of the Americans head to keep her on the outside.

After sticking and moving to control the action, by the half way point of the round, Josephine misses with a left cross as Kate dips under it, landing a right hook to the ribs, then an overhand left crashes onto the chin of Josephine to turn her head, Kate bullies her opponent to the ropes, hacking away at her body when Josephine shells up.

Pulling Kate into a clinch with less then forty seconds to go, Josephine looks annoyed with herself, broken up she gets back on her toes moving around as Kate comes straight at her, both landing piston like strikes through the others guard as the crowd cheers them on, at the bell Upton back on top but Skriver looks motivated tonight, both staring intensely across the ring at their opponent.

Round 4:
Kate looking to keep moving forwards, be a pain to her opponent, instead early in the round she misses with a left cross to the body as Josephine sidesteps to the right, then pounds in a straight around the temple area of the dipped down Kate to make her grimace, a double jab then forces the American model onto her heels as Josephine starts opening up on her.

Needing to clinch up after a hard opening minute to the round, Kate is blinking hard to clear her vision, they are split apart with Josephine quick off the mark with a jab/straight combo into her face, knocking back Kate again as the former FCBA champion doesn't look like she can catch a break right now, at best landing single punches, getting bullied around by Skriver.

Who rams in two short uppercuts to the stomach of Kate as she forces her against the ropes, Kate trying to fire back but is getting caught with several meaty hooks around the sides of her head, again needing to hold on to Josephine, referee breaks them up with Kate going full defence in the last twenty seconds, at the end of the round it is an impressive round for Skriver, who raises her arms as she heads back to her corner, Kate needing to be fanned down by a towel as she shakes her head, trying to clear any cobwebs that have gotten into her head.

Round 5:
Kate doesn't look so confident right now, especially when she takes a flush jab/straight combo into her face, a right cross soon opens a cut on the bridge of her nose to give Kate more to worry about, she steps inside to work the body of Josephine to try to turn the tables, a right cross lands around the back of her ear before she is clinched, Nicole not happy as she yells at the referee to watch for punches to the back of her fighters head.

Split up as they enter the second minute of the round, trading stiff jabs as they box around the ring, Josephine feints with a jab, then sidesteps again to Kate's left to land a hard right cross that makes the future hall of Famer stumble a step to her right, THEN A SHORT LEFT UPPERCUT SENDS KATE ONTO HER BACK!

Josephine marches over to the neutral corner, bouncing on her toes as she turns to eye up her downed opponent, 1...2...3.. Kate can be heard groaning, 4...5...6... Turning to her front and getting to all fours with a shake of her head, 7....8.... Kate pushes up to her feet, fists raised as she assures the referee she is OK.

The fight continues with just under a minute to go, Kate again is playing spoiler with her guard tightened up and holding when she sees a chance, there's a little dirty boxing going on with kidneys getting hit before the referee can step in to break them apart, they going toe to toe in the dying moments of the round, at the end of the round, Upton looks to the heavens looking ready to scream, not often by any stretch does Kate have two terrible rounds back to back like this, as she sits down it doesn't look like she is ready to throw the towel in judging by her expression, Josephine meanwhile nods to Rebecca as she listens to her advice, the Girls Friday corner looking in perfect harmony right now.

Round 6:
Kate pushes out her corner but is quickly met with combos coming her way, she is covering up in the early going, moving more side to side as this is gut check time for her, Josephine looking to end things if she gets an opening, trying to overwhelm Upton out the gates as the first minute is hers.

But Kate weathered the storm and starts her counter attack as she deflects a jab to land a left cross to the cheek of Josephine with a smack, quickly getting into her grill to bang away at the body of the BBU champion, Kate is making her grit her mouthpiece as again Josephine lands around the ears of Kate, the referee warns her after they clinch up when a few punches do go to the back of Kate's head, frustrating Skriver as she doesn't see it that way.

Less then forty five seconds to go, Kate slips a straight to land a straight into the solar plexus of Josephine, who groans out before an overhand left/right combo smacks her on her cheeks with thuds, Josephine now shelling up as Kate forces her back into a neutral corner, where she takes several more clean shots to her body up until the bell is rung, Kate looks less tense as she heads to her stool, that late drive especially seems to have jolted some confidence back into her, Josephine meanwhile takes a few deep breaths to make sure she is OK after the body assault she has been put under.

Round 7:
Stepping back out to engage, both are slamming in punches that are sending sweat flying, Kate grunting when the cut on her nose is made worse by a double jab, Josephine misses with a right hook, instead an overhand left slams onto her chin to make her stumble back two steps, Kate rushes in and Josephine ends up on her backside, the referee judging it from a push, lucky break possibly for Skriver.

Once she is up and they resume, Josephine has an aggressive Kate to deal with now, the American ramming in more punches around her torso, driving Josephine onto the ropes where she needs to hold on to the mauling Upton, crowd is roaring them both as this is true hard hitting welterweight action, split up Josephine is soon back on her heels as a straight slams under her chin to snap her head back.

Soon she is back in a corner again, Josephine is being used as a punch bag by an irate Kate, grabbing onto her, they both hiss insults as heads grind, referee needed to split these two sweat soaked goddesses apart, Josephine boxing on the back foot in the remaining moments of the round, looking relieved to get out of it as Kate is marching back to her corner with a point to prove clearly.

Round 8:
Trading around the center of the ring, Josephine doesn't look like she wants a repeat of the last round, she hasn't as much spring to her step, leading to more meaty exchanges where cracks of leather ringing out, Josephine has her bottom lip cut from a short right cross that lands across it.

Second minute sees Josephine land a hard right to the cheek of Kate, following with a double jab into her nose, making Kate groan out as she is driven back to the ropes, Josephine looking more comfortable now as she holds the center of the ring, both women exchanging with Skriver landing the more cleaner punches.

Heading into the final forty seconds, Kate dips under a left cross to get back inside, landing a short right just above the waistband of her opponents trunks, making Josephine wince before they lock up, grappling back to the ropes with some kidney punches with a free fist, the round ends with both pushing the other away, sweat dripping off their brows with a little blood from cuts dripping onto their jugs, corners cleaning down the fighters as both are starting to breath harder, feeling the effects of this hard fight as the crowd is roaring for both fighters.

Round 9:
Trading stiff punches to start, one mistake turns the tables quickly as Josephine misses with an uppercut as Kate moves to the left of Josephine, then lands an overhand right around the ear of the Dane, then follows with left hook to the chin to send sweat flying as Josephine is stumbling back on her heels, Kate stepping in to pound in another left cross to the chin of Josephine, whose guard drops before AN UPPERCUT LANDS TO SEND SWEAT FLYING BEFORE JOSEPHINE LANDS ON HER BACK!

Kate moves to the neutral corner taking a breath as she does, leaning against the turnbuckles, 1...2...3...4... Josephine has a glassy eyed look as she lays spread eagle, 5...6... Gumshield hanging out her mouth as she shuts her eyes, 7....8....9...10 that's it!

Winner Kate Upton KO Round 9:

After:
Kate heads over to Josephine, staring hard at her as this fight was tougher then she seemed to expect, if anyone thought she was going to show her respect, instead Kate presses her right foot into the left cheek of the beaten fighter as she turns her head to the side, telling Josephine "down where you belong bytch! Under my heel!" As her fans cheer, some boo as Rebecca comes over to push off Kate from her fighter, Nicole rushing in to stop Kate having a go at Rebecca, not with the state she is in.

Returning to her corner, Kate tosses her gloves to the canvas, not happy that she didn't dominate this fight as she expected to, Nicole wiping her down with a sponge as she tells her fighter "you won, that's all that matters" making the simple point that she should focus on getting the job done, not how she got it done.

While Josephine is slowly helped to her feet and over to her stool, Eva working on bringing her back to reality, while Rebecca is heard telling her "god I hate that smug bytch, I hated her when I fought and I will always hate that fat f**k" clearly not a fan of Kate, Eva nods with a stern look herself in agreement.

Once Josephine is in a fit enough state, she is helped out of the ring by Rebecca, Eva carrying the BBU title as it will be interesting to see if this defeat will effect her when she defends the title, she proved to some pundits that she can hang with the best in the world at the weight but she couldn't finish the job when she was on.

Inside the ring Kate heads over to the middle of the ring, getting her right hand raised by the referee, Kate tells the nearest camera "I am the best in this damn ring, bring on f**king Amanda Righetti, bring on that skank Bethany Lily April! And Brooklyn Decker, I own this ring!" Fired up as maybe she is worried about people not giving her the respect what she deserves.

Stepping back out the ring with Nicole, towel put over her shoulders as she heads up the aisle, looking ready to fight anyone right now, that could be a dangerous sign to the BBU or FCBA fighters, she is clearly on a mission now to be recognized undoubtedly as the best in the world.
