Intro/Fight:
Katic had fared quite well against the handful of towering opponents she'd faced to-date, dispatching the likes of Silvstedt, Prepon, Romijn, and Heidi Klum in 2022 thus far despite being at a decided reach disadvantage in each contest. Against the nearly 6-foot Rafaella Modugno, she was expected to feel right at home. While Katic was far from a favorite amongst the younger swimsuit models starring in the Queen of the Beach Tournament, Modugno was even more of a wildcard. This being her first official FCBA fight, many were unsure what to expect from the rangy Italian with no common opponents.

Despite being ten years her senior, Katic was the fighter who left the gates in a full sprint, slipping into the trenches with Modugno and pouring a heartless barrage into her toned midsection. Raffaella's length was no more than an encumbrance as Katic repeatedly slid forward, pumped the gut, then circled out of harm's way, frustrating the Italian with unexpected grace and tact. While Katic was near-untouchable, Modugno's chin was iron, as she simply shook off a pair of rattling lefts to the jaw that Katic expected to down the brunette. After touching up Modugno in the 1st for a wide win, the pair traded close rounds in the next two. With Raffaella having survived the initial onslaught and found her pace, it was Katic who found herself being stalked in the 4th.

Katic's playful, braided pony tail slung and bobbed as she was pushed to her heels and blistered by a wide-sweeping right hand, her jaw clacking as a knee buckled inward, forcing an awkward misstep in the sand as she careened into the ropes. Building a barricade with her forearms, the brunette's taut sternum was absolutely shelled by Modugno, exposed muscle and flesh rippling with breathtaking lefts to the rib cage until Katic wilted sideways, crunching her abdomen to protect her right side. Modugno mercilessly clubbed Stana's temple, despite it being shielded, but still Stana wouldn't topple. Shuffling left with Katic willfully blind, Raffaella palmed Stana's forearms and arched her spine over the top rope, lifting her defenses and exposing the center of her sternum for a quaking straight right to the heart. Katic instantly puddled, her long stems noodling as she drunkenly wobbled across the ring and crashed into the opposite ropes. Kicking up sand along the way, she managed to hook the top rope with the crook of her armpit to remain upright, but Modungno ran her down and drove another gutting left into her breast, nearly spilling her teardropping tit free from the thin-banded tube top she was sporting. Saved by the bell and somehow still upright, Katic spent half the break not budging an inch, instead simply resting with hands on her knees in place.

Afforded time to regain her composure, Katic hit the reset button on the latter half of the 4th, chugging repeated lefts into Raffaella's inviting, chesty targets. With more padding, but also a larger hit box, Modugno was much quicker to wilt under the relentless pressure of Katic's body barrage. A stunning right hand sunk through Modugno's crumbling defenses and snapped against her ribs, opening her belly for a gutting left hand that lifted her off her toes. Spilling sloppily into Katic, Stana gently ushered Raffaella to her side as if they were dance partners, twirling the floundering Italian in preparation for a devastating overhand. Raffaella kissed the sand in a brutal flash, her lights turned out by a thunderous right from the heavens. A wonderful win for Katic, and an even more intriguing match-up with newly-signed stablemate Charlotte McKinney in the next round.
