ASHLEY BENSON VS NELL TIGER FREE

Results: Lookout Writing: Archer

Ashley: 32 YO 5’4 (1.62 m), 28-17-0, 25 KO since 2011, Pretty Little Punchers

Nell: 22 YO, 5’5 (1.63 m), 10-3-0,10 KO since 2021, VIXENS

Before: Veteran PLP fighter Ashley Benson taking on VIXENS hard working (this will be her 14th fight since joining the FCBA in 2021). 2022 has been another tough year for Benzo, she’s 2-8 over the past 2 years and 1-2 this year. However she is coming off a win over Kiernan Shipka in her fast fight. On the other hand, after winning 4 in row to start 2022, NTF has lost 2 in row (to Milly Bobby Brown and Elle Fanning and is clearly hoping for a turnaround fight this time out.

“I have only lost 3 fights since I started (and that other was Lily Collins).So I think this is just a temporary setback,” says Nell in the prefight. “Ashley Benson is a tough veteran with over 10 years and 45 fights experience behind her. I am not fighting some hapless jobber. This is Ashley Benson and I know it will be a battle, but one I believe I can win.”

“It’s glad to get some compliments instead of insults,” replies Ashley Benson with veteran cool. “and she’s right to think this will be a battle—but I am the one who’ll win it. I got back on the right track with Shipka, and I’ll stay on with a win over Nell.”

Thus both fighters are headed into Fight Night with the confidence of victory. Ashley enters first and removes her robe. She wearing a blue bikini trimmed in light blue with blue gloves and boots (light blue laces), her hair is pulled back in a battle braid. Nell removes her robe. She has opted for a simple black bikini with white gloves and boots (black laces). Hair in battle braid. Ring instruction proceed smoothly. Gloves are then tapped. Fighters to their corners. Pause. The bell rings…

R1: Nell and Ashley circle each other at the center of the ring to start things off. They exchanged quick bursts of probing punches, but then Ashley moved in aiming for Nell’s head. Nell deftly blocked the advance with her shoulder and then fired a solid right off Ashley’s jaw. Ashley shuddered under the impact and then a left ripped up into the underside of her chin. Ashley staggered back, gloves up hard against her face. Nell now worked over Ashley’s breats and then finished with deep hooks to the belly. Ashley retreated rapidly, doubled up from the stomach blows and firing out jabs to force Nell to dodge. Nell was able to resume her attack, but time ran out and she had settle for winning the round by comfortable margin.

R2: NTF back on the attack as the new round began, but Ashley was doing a much better job of protect her head. Then, as Nell was shifting to body punching, Ashley struck back with a driving straight right/left combo straight into Nell’s face. Nell reeled back with blood dripping from her nose and Ashley drove more damaging punches into Nell’s face. Nell was finally able to get her gloves up in a tight head defense, but she had been badly lumped up. Ashley was now working over the NTF breast line as well as her ribs and belly. Hard whacking hooks pushed Nell back, bent over at the waist and trying to get some breathing room. Ashley methodically worked over Nell’s torso to the bell. She then stepped back as a gasping Nell had to steady herself against the ropes for a moment before heading for her corner. Ashley then walked to her own corner with a look of quiet satisfaction. The round went wide to Ashley Benson.

R3: Ashley resumed her body punching as the new round began. Nell was again hit hard, but she tried to drive Ashley back with head shots. Ashley responded with counters to Nell’s jaw that swiveled her head and then went after her chin with head snapping uppercuts. This sent Nell lurching backwards until she hit the nearest ropes. Here Nell could only bury her face in her gloves and Ashley used her body like a punching bag. Nell hung there, gurgling and groaning under the impacts of Ashley’s blows, but her legs never faltered and she was still upright at the bell. Ashley wiped her sweaty brow and looked at Nell with some interest. Nell was too busy peeling herself off the ropes to notice and flashed the veteran a look of defiance.

“You haven’t beaten me yet,” Nell whispered.

“But I will,” Ashley replied, “but you are tough.”

“Yes, I am and I will still win this,” Nell retorted and moved on.

The judges meanwhile were awarding the round to Ashley Benson by a solid margin.

R4: Both fighters moved quickly to the middle of the ring as the latest round began. Ashley feinted towards Nell’s head, but then directed her attack to Nell’s battered torso. However this time Nell went after Ashley to the body and the two now battled it out at point blank range, foreheads nearly touching, looking each other in the eyes as they both lifted short rights and lefts punches into the quivering flesh of the other’s body. The crowd was on its feet cheering them on s the two battled grimly for dominance and slowly, blow by blow, impact by impact, Nell Tiger Free forced Ashley Benson to give ground. The round ended and the result was close but Nell was pronounced the winner of the round.

R5: Out they came again and once more closed in tight on one another. Ashley and Nell were again going it with renewed fury as their breasts, ribs and bellies were hammered over and over. However, Ashley suddenly broke from this battle of attrition and unexpected drove her right up into Nell’s chin. The blow sent Nell stutter-stepping back and Ashley now poured in shots to the face, the jaw and the chin. Nell was battered, bleeding as she hastily got her high guard up and only now did Ashley return to her punishing attack. Nell was now once again propelled towards the ropes, she tried to make a stand, but three concussive hooks to the belly jackknifed Nell into the ropes. Ashley then lunged forward clearly hoping she could bring the Vixen boxer down, but had just she started than the bell sounded. The referee jumped in to force a frustrated Ashley back and Nell got off the ropes, pale, sweaty and bleeding—but defiant.

“I’m still here, Benson. This is not over.” Nell whispered.

“It soon will be,” Ashley snapped and marched off to her corner having won the round wide.

R6: Ashley was all but bouncing up and down on her stool as she impatiently waited for the next round. Meanwhile, the VIX corner crew was hard at work on Nell. Despite her now badly battered face, Nell was staring across the ring at Ashley with a look of stubborn determination.

The bell rang and the two surged from their corner. Ashley struck first with a quick glancing right to the jaw, but Nell banged back hard with a right to Ashley’s chin. Then Ashley launched a left at Nell’s Jaw, but Nell ducked and the punch missed. Then Ashley shot to her feet with big right uppercut to the chin. Ashley’s head snapped back as her trembling legs sent her stumbling backwards. Now Nell sprang forward with rights and lefts to the jaw, chin and more straight shots to bust up Ashley to the face. Somehow Ashley was still standing until a triple hooks to the belly sent her into the ropes. Nell then fired more uppercuts into Ashley’s chin and ASHLEY CRUMBLED TO THE CANVAS! Nell stood for the fallen blonde for a moment of satisfaction and then trotted to the neutral corner.

The referee moved in and started counting. Ashley tried to rise, She grasped the nearby ropes and with heartbreaking desperation to herself up, but it was too slow. She was still hanging there, trying to rise as the referee called out:

“EIGHT!..NINE!..TEN!...YER OUT!”

THE WINNER: NELL TIGER FREE DEFEATS ASHLEY BENSON KO6!

AFTER: Nell is warmly congratulated by her corner, but she gets across the ring to where a wrecked Ashley Benson sits woozily on her stool.

“I told you I would win! I told you!” Nell cries excitedly.

“And you did,” Ashley admits, “I really thought I had you, but you came on tough in that last round. You’re good Nell Tiger Free—really good. You want me for a walk of shame. You earned it.”

“That’s very obliging of you,” Nell said, “but I am satisfied at your admitting I am the better fighter.”

“I didn’t say that,” Ashley replies “but I admit you were this time.”

“Thanks for finally saying that,” Nell said and gave a surprised Ashley a hug, “I knew you would make it tough for me and you did. It made winning all the more satisfying for me.”

“I’m sure it did,” Ashley sighed, “I can’t help thinking I let it get away from me, but you beat me fair and square. Maybe we’ll meet again some time.”

“Maybe we will, you never know,” Nell said and then headed back to her own corner.

This was an exciting fight Nell Tiger Free got off to a winning start only to have Ashley come back strong. Nell showed toughness in standing up to battle the veteran to the body, but she won it in the 6th when Ashley got a little too free swinging and paid the price. No doubt a hard loss for Ashely Benson who fought hard only to get bombed into wreckage in the 6th. Very encouraging win for Nell who came back strongly after twin defeats to go 5-2 for the year so far. Fans certainly got plenty of action in this one and lots to savor in the replays.
