Hailee‘s boxing success certainly hasn‘t matched her Hollywood pedigree so far – she‘s always seemed destined for stardom in the ring, but hasn‘t broken through so far. How does she like her odds against a furious Kira out for a comeback?
“I‘m taking what Kira‘s got,“ Hailee says. “She's had the boxing career I was supposed to have! I'm way hotter and it's time I started to show that in the ring! Once I take Kira out for a beatin', everyone at bantam will talk about me!“

Fight: R1: Kira‘s being fast n‘ leggy, as she‘s taking clockwise pivots around Hailee, pinging a jab to Hailee‘s head up top, taking measure of her foe – her stiff, sticky poke‘s driving Steinfeld into retreat early, as she‘s still trying to figure out Kira‘s aggressive style! Hailee‘s mostly bobbin‘, weavin‘ her torso – she‘s negotiating her way inside, driving short, peppy lefts, rights off her left foot, trying to catch Kira with gritty thump to the tits! Just a minute inside, Hailee‘s starting to get her timing down right – she rolls a Kira attack jab, taking a dip n‘ a stoop, belts Kosarin‘s right jug, putting Kira wobbly-butt with a body shot! Kosarin‘s wide-eyed, obviously appalled at herself – she pedals to a corner, digs in, gives Hailee hell from the ropes! The action gets gritty, as girls lean in hard, go toe-to-toe – Kira‘s cuffin‘, chuggin‘ jug work‘s more effective then Hailee‘s! Steinfeld‘s quickly showing a frazzled, mouth-breathing look – she‘s backing off, as Kira‘s lustful strokes have her hurtin‘, grimacin‘!
Leggy mop-up, Kira – Steinfeld‘s early resistance fades!
Kira‘s stance tall, strong – she‘s taking her jabs upside Hailee‘s eyes/temple, putting her at the end of her stick, sockin‘, rockin‘ her into compliance as right hand spots open! Down the stretch, Kira‘s twitchin‘ uppercuts at Steinfeld‘s breasts from close range, pickin‘ up her foe‘s jugs with cruel lil‘ shrugs, shrugs! Hailee a scowling, frustrated beauty at the bell – Kira‘s physical prowess‘s got her sidelined so far!
R2, R3: Hailee‘s motivated, taking it to Kira from the friggin‘ bell in R2 – hard chop of a right hand BLASTS to Kira‘s temple in early trade, lighting up her skull! Kira‘s legs take a solid buzz, stumbling her sideways, hitting the ropes – Steinfeld‘s going chup, chup on her! Kira‘s staying tall, upright against the ropes, countering long, wide shots with plenty of lashin‘ power herself – Hailee‘s able to dip n‘ duck under most of the shots, easing muscular lil‘ hooks into Kira‘s breadbasket in response, cramping her foe into lil‘ spasms! A minute in, girls go on fighting in the pocket, taking ropeside hops, pivots, as Hailee‘s fighting from mid-ring, defending her better ring position – Hailee‘s smooth, relaxed, as she‘s dippin‘ side-to-side, controlling Kira with a bossy jab! Steinfeld‘s stance‘s leggy, confident – she‘s always on her toes, dukes at her cheeks, gettin‘ on n‘ off with stubby lil‘ jabs to Kira‘s tummy/rib/jug!
Mid-round, Kira‘s starting to get pouty, sullen about Steinfeld‘s snappy jab pressure – she reaches for Hailee‘s head, pulling her forward, taking her into the clinch, trying to get back on top with hold n‘ hit tactic from the backstreet! Hailee‘s ready for most of her foe‘s shenanigans, though – she‘s chesting back up, staying hot n‘ tough in Kira‘s face, refusing to budge against her sturdy opponent! Kira‘s a little more effective in R3, bringing her physicality into battle – she‘s able to put a stagger on Hailee‘s advances with a tart, slicin‘ jab, taking a right hand hammer to Hailee‘s ears/guard in the process. Steinfeld fades Kira‘s early power shots after a while – girls body up, spend most of round in sweaty, tousling clinches! Hailee‘s got R2 in confident fashion, R3‘s a clinch-fest draw. “Lovin' all your power tonight, Hailee,“ her corner says after R3. “Kira's always comin‘ in hot n‘ loud – you gotta hit her, so the timid, weak side of her shows up, girl!“
R4: Kira‘s in a smooth, relaxed mid-ring gait, stepping out easy n‘ leggy, as Hailee‘s taking back-pedals, weavin‘ back n‘ forth – Kira‘s right hand‘s cocked at the chest, her left hand low n‘ ready to shoot. Kira breezin‘ a left hand past Steinfeld‘s shoulder, but staying inside after she‘s missed target – Hailee dippin‘, eruptin‘ out of the crouch! And Hailee cocks her right hand to Kira‘s stubborn jaw – KIRA GOES DOWN! Shot lands flush n‘ hard, startling Kira‘s lithe torso – she‘s spilled onto her back, her strong limbs all jittery, shaky in an instant! Kira beating the count in teary-eyed, shaky-legged fashion, making it up at ref‘s 8 – Hailee a-grinnin‘, taking a confident lil‘ strut back into her foe‘s paths!
Hailee steps into range long n‘ wide, lifts an explosive uppercut up from her thigh – rolls it upward through Kira‘s mitts, SPLASHING that pretty face back into recoil! Kira skiddin‘ in hurt alongside the ropes, taking step-outs, searching for her leggy composure – Hailee‘s storming rack! Steinfeld‘s set up snug n‘ tight on her girl – pounds Kira‘s floppin‘ jugs like putty! Kira‘s lips part in shock, her eyes PLEADING Hailee to stop – she‘s desperately trying to reach around Hailee‘s hips for a clinch, as Steinfeld‘s taking it to her! Hailee‘s a bully, riding her bigger foe against the ropes once Kira‘s got the clinch set – Hailee‘s arms keep writhin‘, squirmin‘, as Kira‘s just hangin‘ in tough!
Final minute – Kira‘s proving her leggy stamina, getting her jab back into order, holding back an aggressive Hailee!
Kira‘s stance‘s tidy, as she‘s chuppin‘ a jab to Steinfeld‘s tummy, taking her right hand clubbin‘ against Hailee‘s ears/guard – Kira‘s own blazin‘ power‘s starting to slow Hailee‘s advances! Steinfeld upbeat, but a little frustrated at the bell – Kira‘s a tough customer to put to sleep despite a heavy knockdown! “That was Hailee's best little punch, girl,“ Kira's corner asserts. “You made it through it – now go destroy her!“
R5: Kira‘s starting to box from the outside, showing a sleek, technical approach to Hailee‘s surprise – she‘s jabbing off her back foot, setting up strong, jagged hooks n‘ uppercuts along the way. Steinfeld‘s still being aggressive, trying to interrupt Kira‘s rhythm early on in the trade – she‘s staying inside Kira‘s range, pulling a left cross to her foe‘s mid-riff, tugging a right hand to the brunette‘s jaw/cheek. Kira‘s being sharp, concise, taking Hailee‘s shots well, showing good reactions, proving herself an adept counter puncher – her snappy jab catches Hailee flush on the mouth! A sleek blast to Hailee‘s jaw‘s got her stiff, upright – right hand, Kira!
Kira‘s right hand shrug catches Hailee‘s left ear/cheek, unhinges her legs, tosses her ropeward – HAILEE‘S DOWN!
Steinfeld‘s rocked onto all fours, taking a slow, messy lil‘ forward crawl – oh, she‘s in shabby shape, taking deep heaves, as her sweaty hair‘s coming untousled! Kira carries a cheeky grin of dominance, staying hands wide-on-hips as she‘s watching her opponent crawl n‘ fight to beat the count – Hailee makes it back up! Kira snarls, immediately issuing a sticky jab to get Hailee under pressure again – the lithe brunette‘s taking back-pedals, her dukes up weakly, legs a-totter! Hop right, Kira – snappy left to Hailee‘s rack! Hop left, Kira – tart right hand SLICE to Hailee‘s sternum! Hop right, Kira – right hand draws upside Hailee‘s jaw! Steinfeld battered into side-to-side totters on the spot – she‘s helpless, ref! Hailee such a curvy, tough beauty – her strong legs won‘t take a bend, as proud rack n‘ jaw get knocked to-n‘-fro by Kira‘s pumpin‘ shots! Steinfeld‘s a bent, battered beauty, taking sloshes against the ropes, as Kira‘s beltin‘ away to glory – THE REF CRADLES HAILEE TO SAFETY! Kira shoutin‘, pumpin‘ her arm, noddin‘ in self-approval – she‘s got the TKO5 Kira Kosarin!
After: “Not in my class,“ Kira lets us know in her post-fight interview, brushing over Steinfeld's impressive knockdown along the way. “Hailee's a model – there's no way she could beat the best bantam in the world!“ It's definitely a feel-good win for Kira, as Hailee's a stunning fighting image, but not (yet) competitive enough against Kosarin's sturdy bantam credentials. For Kira, the devastating losses to Priyanka Chopra and (especially) Demi Rose in this year's tournaments haven't been forgotten, let alone avenged – the fiery bantam slugger's forced to take a back seat as other fighters rule the roost at bantam for now...but hopefully not for long.
