BEFORE:
American actress Bianca Santos making her FCBA debut on the biggest stage of them all, walking into the arena with a skip in her step and a bright smile on her face, baring her toned torso whilst dressed in a lilac sports bra and long black tights.

She faces an uphill battle tonight as former champion Lily Collins takes on a gauntlet of girls in quick succession, recently beating Kristin Kreuk a week ago, and then Mila Kunis the week before.

Collins looks like she’s in the best shape of her life when she enters the arena next, arms spread wide and up and lips pouting in a black sports bra and short tights, waving red gloves to the cheering crowds.

“Heard this Bianca girl was looking for a quick fight. She seemed to be eager to get into the ring ASAP. I told my managers ‘Why not? Let’s see what she’s made of,’” Lily says later by ringside. “I was honestly surprised when her team came back with a ‘Yes’”.

At the other end of the ring, Bianca’s bouncing on her toes, eager to get in there as well. “I’ve nothing but respect for Lily, and I’m gonna do my best to keep up with her in there,” Santos says with a smile. “This might be my debut, but I’ve been training hard for the past few months, waiting to get in on the action. Win or lose, I’m gonna have some fun.”

Of course, for some ladies, it’s not all about the fun. Lily and Bianca touch gloves in the center of the ring, then head back to their respective corners to await the bell. Referee signals for the start of this contest, and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1:
Bianca still itching to get started when the bell rings, the American actress brimming forward and initiating with several flurries to Lily’s head! Good start for the rookie, who doesn’t wait or want to get dominated, thinking to herself she might as well put her foot to the throttle from the get go! Lily having trouble dealing with this abundance of energy, grunting as several of the brunette’s jabs make it past her guard and into her face. Collins has had enough in the second minute, not liking the humiliation, stands her ground and shoves her own fists back into the rookie’s face, but the adrenaline still overtaking Bianca’s body, and she punches right back, catching Lily on the chin with a loud UGNH to send her reeling. Not a good look indeed for Collins, who’s forced to settle down into a more defensive stance for the rest of the round. She definitely did not expect this level of resistance from a brand newcomer to the ring, and at the bell, Santos is jumping up and down, knowing she’s won her first wide performance.

ROUND 2:
Santos still eagerly charging in, arms up and that smirk on her face. She resumes her punching, sending several left-right hands into Lily’s guard, seeking the face. Collins better used to the combos now, blocking with her arms and then moving backwards to create more space, leading the newcomer onwards. Classic rookie mistake as Bianca thinks she’s gaining ground, winning another shutout performance, only to get caught by a return cross to the face once Lily blocks one of her punches and punches back! OUCH! Collins capitalising, shoving more flurries straight into the newbie’s features, rocking Bianca back and wiping that smile off her face!! Santos is wavering, seeing stars, NOT used to the gym bag hitting back this hard!! HERE COMES LILY, targeted hits dinging the chin, slammed into the torso, folding Bianca over, primed for a last HOOK to the face that sends the newcomer DOWN to the canvas!! That’s ALL she wrote, folks! Bianca groaning down on all fours, sputtering and wondering what the hell hit her! She struggles to get back up as the referee starts the count, but her vision is groggy and the rest of her body not cooperating! Lily Collins calm, steady, looking on from the neutral corner, as the referee finally hits the 10-count! It’s OVER!

AFTER:
“A good warm-up fight to keep the blood flowing,” Collins smirks with a nod later to reporters by ringside. “The girl’s good, but she’s got a ways to go if she wants to stay relevant in the league. Meanwhile, my busy schedule continues. Who’s f*cking next?”
