Bantamweight action continues with two top actresses looking for another victory. Veteran Elizabeth Olsen captured her first title earlier this year while Natalie has struggled to put together a season above 500 after her breakout 2019. A win over Olsen would catapult the younger fighter higher in the rankings and set her up for a title chance.

Both actresses are respectful of the other at the pre-fight press conference. Lind comments on Olsen’s perseverance and finally winning that title while Olsen applauds the younger girl’s early success including the JMD title.

“Underestimating Natalie would be a mistake.” Olsen tells the press, “Girls don’t just win titles, including the JMD title, without talent. I’m going to see what she is made of.”

“Hey, Lizzie is a great fighter, she won the title. But tonight is about the future, not the past. Lizzie’s best fighting is in the past, and it’s my time.”

Olsen is the first girl to make her way to the fight, the Fates girl wearing a green sports bra with black trunks and matching gloves. Lind steps out wearing an orange sports bra with matching trunks and gloves. The two girls bump fists and the bell rings.

Round 1:

Elizabeth and Natalie each step cautiously out of their corners. The two girls start circling each other, trying to get a sense of their opponent. Neither girl has a reach advantage and both girls know it as they carefully jab at each other. Natalie throwing more jabs early, forcing Elizabeth to react and tagging her body with a pair of lefts. Olsen taking the blows and returning fire, finding a left into Lind’s trunk. The two girls continue circling and Natalie feints right and Elizabeth reads her and tags her face right beneath her eye with a left. Nat got her gloves up to weaken the blow but it is still a shot to her face and the blonde drops back. Elizabeth carefully pursues, but is forced to go for body blows as Natalie makes her guard solid. The bell rings and the opening round goes to Olsen on points.

Round 2:

Lind quick out of her corner and the Foxfire girl lands a left into Olsen’s face early and the Fates girl is knocked back. Lizzie protecting her face and forces Natalie to go body. Blonde girl with short strikes into the brunette’s midriff that force her to give up ground. Lizzie retreating and Natalie chases after her, the blonde with a left right into the older girl’s chin and Olsen freezes! Lind with a right that sends her into the ropes and Olsen stays on her feet, getting a clinch for the break. Lind chases right back after Olsen and drives a left into her ribs but Olsen comes back with a right hook that catches the younger girl by surprise. Liz follows up with a left into her foe’s flank, but the bell rings and the two go back to their corners.

Round 3:

Natalie looks to pick up with a follow up to the second and the blonde has Elizabeth in her sights early. Lind with a left hook into Olsen’s face and the brunette clinches early as the Foxfire corner is excited for their fighter to be hitting her stride. Blonde girl chases after the brunette after the break, but Olsen slips to her right to avoid a blow and connects with a straight left that knocks the younger girl backward. Natalie with her gloves up to stop the Fates girl from hitting her face and blocks two blows, but Lizzie finds a third strike through her foe’s guard and into her nose. Natalie caught by surprise and she staggers back into the ropes as Elizabeth works her body. Natalie now the girl to clinch and forces the ref to step in. The bell rings before either girl can land any more blows, and the third goes to Olsen on points.

Round 4:

The two actresses finding their strides and the fourth starts with a quick trade of blows before the two start circling, each girl taking turns jabbing at her foe. Lind landing the first punch and the blonde follows up into the brunette’s midriff. Lizzie winces and Natalie follows up with another strike to her body, but the former champion stands her ground and connects with a left back into Natalie’s trunk. Now the Foxfire girl winces and drops back, bringing the circling action back. Lind with another strike, this time a glancing blow off of the Scarlet Witch’s right cheek and Olsen responds with a left to Lind’s chin and she knocks the blonde back. Natalie quick to get her gloves up but the Fates girl lands another quick blow into her mouth before the defense comes up and the younger girl clinches moments later. The bell rings and the two girls go back to their corners after a close round.

Round 5:

Olsen quick out of her corner and the Fates girl hunts down Lind. Lizzie smartly working around Natalie’s guard and the blonde girl knows she can’t be target practice. Natalie plants her feet and swings back at Elizabeth, bouncing a right off of the brunette’s gloves. Lind follows up with a left into Olsen’s midriff, but Olsen takes the punch and slams a right into the younger girl’s head and Lind staggers backward! Blonde girl with her gloves up as the brunette hones in on her foe’s body and drives her into the ropes. The ref watching carefully as Lizzie unloads into Natalie’s body and the Foxfire girl’s guard begins to drop. Elizabeth with two straights through Natalie’s guard and down goes the blonde! The ref starts to count as Natalie gets herself onto her stomach, but the blonde gets no further and the ref reaches ten. Your winner by KO5, Elizabeth Olsen!

After:

Foxfire medics flood the ring and help their fighter as Olsen heaves a sigh of relief, the brunette raising her gloves in triumph as she continues to approach 100 fights. The Fates girl goes over and hugs Lind on the defeated girl’s stool, and the two girls exchange pleasantries and smiles as by the time they leave the ring.

“Natalie is one of the best fighters in the division, and she will win gold someday.” Olsen praises her foe, “I know she will want to fight again in the future, and I am looking forward to it.”

Natalie equally complementary of her opponent afterward, “Lizzie is one of the toughest girls in the division for a reason, even if it took her some time to hit her stride.”
