Intro:
We are down in Australia at the famous Gold Coast for battle of the models, Hilary Rhoda and Elizabeth Debicki battle it out, with a new champion at the top of the welterweight division, a win here could get the fighters at the tops notice.

Before the fight the FCBA Network and Gold & Green magazine did separate interviews, Alicia Atout of the FCBA Network got the duty of speaking to Hilary, meeting Hilary at her home as they sit on a sofa in her living room, Hilary wearing a red dress with no shoes on, smiling as she shakes hands with Alicia before they talk about the bout.

Alicia asks Hilary what she thinks about her opponent, Hilary chuckles to herself, answering "well it's not often I fight someone as tall, it's an interesting task to fight someone who can keep you at arms length, I have to be on guard for her big right coming across my chin, it's an exciting prospect" grinning as she certainly looks excited.

She is then asked about going to Australia, Elizabeth's home turf, Hilary replies "I know that I am going to be booed and I'll have to adjust to the time difference, all that stuff, but it is going to be a fun experience, I'll not be bothered by all that when the bell rings, it could be a fight in a car park or in her home, it won't matter as I am there to win" fists clenched as she is a little fired up, Hilary thanking Alicia for coming over to speak, both nodding with a smile.

While down in Australia, Gold & Green magazines Sarah Cummings spoke to Elizabeth after she had a run on the beach the fight is to take place, Elizabeth wearing a black one piece swimsuit, she smiles as she holds a towel over her shoulders, smiling as she tells Sarah "that certainly woke me up" both laughing as Sarah nods in reply.

The subject then turns to the fight, Elizabeth tells Sarah "I can't wait to get into the ring to battle Hilary, after losing to Jesinta (Campbell) for the ACB welterweight title, now I have a new target of the FCBA title, especially if Robyn (Lawley) wins, I mean let's see who the best Aussie big girl is right" flexing her arms for the camera filming this, showing her qualifications for that spot.

She continues "Hilary doesn't bother me, her coming down here will just show my fans that us Aussies are the best in this division, not those Yankees" laughing with Sarah, she then gets a fist bump from the interviewer before she jogs away to go do more training.

Fighting time, the ring posts are in the beach itself, with two bleachers on opposite sides of the ring, two cameras on the other side of the ring as the crowd is ready, most of course are showing their support for Elizabeth with Australia flags in the crowd and banners.

First to step onto the sand with mostly boos coming her way is Hilary, who has her coach for tonight Taryn Terrell walking to the ring, Hilary looks straight at the ring as she looks to ignore the crowd, she is wearing a violet bikini with matching gloves, stepping into the ring with an icy look, tapping her gloves together to keep her focus.

Elizabeth then heads towards the ring with her coach Nicole Ritchie, she waves to the fans as she struts around the ring, making Hilary wait for her to step into the ring, wearing a green bikini with black gloves as she gets into the ring, arms raised in the air as she stares across the ring at Hilary.

Heading to the middle of the ring after gumshields are placed in their mouths, eyes locked in intense stares, the referee telling the fighters to stick to the rules as both clench their fists, they touch gloves up with a crack of leather, then return to their corners as fans yell "kick her f**king ass Elizabeth!" And "you got this Liz!" To show how rowdy the crowd is, once everything is ready the bell rings to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
Very rarely you see Hilary start off by nearly crouching on her punches to stab to the body of an opponent, here she is in the opening moments digging to the body of Elizabeth after ducking under two jabs, she gets forced back by a left hand shove to the face, followed by a straight onto her forehead to knock her back a step.

While it was a strong start from Rhoda, Debicki holds the center of the ring smacking her when she sees an opening through the mitts of Hilary with a jab/straight combo, Hilary does manage to land one of her own back into the face of Liz, she takes a left hook to the side of her head when she tries to push back the Aussie.

The crowd are happy when they see Hilary be knocked to the ropes by a are a straight through onto her forehead, Debicki planting her feet as she swings in hooks, Hilary shelling up as the thudding blows can be heard echoing with cracks of leather from the ones hitting glove, the rest are turning Hilary's head till she can clinch up with the actress, referee soon splits them up with Hilary back on the move not wanting to be pinned down in the final moments of the round, which ends with a loud roar from the crowd as their favourite raises her arms in the air, Hilary shakes her head as she returns to her corner.

Round 2:
Both are starting to land more as they are getting a better read on their opponent, Elizabeth landing a jab to the forehead of Hilary, starting to push her back again behind piston like punches, till she swings in a right hook that just misses as Hilary ducks under it, an overhand left smacks Elizabeth across her jaw, with an uppercut following to knock her onto her heels.

Boos ring out as the local favourite is being knocked back across the ring to the ropes, Hilary landing double jabs to force Elizabeth back, with a short right smacking the Aussie on her jaw, giving Hilary another small shove to her chest, Elizabeth fires back with a short left onto the cheek of Hilary, getting herself away from the ropes as the model retreats.

Another miss from Debicki comes as she is loading up a little too much on her punches, a left hook finds air as Hilary dips under it, getting in closer to Elizabeth, Rhoda digs in two short right hooks to the ribs of her opponent to make her grunt, while a short right goes into the side of her head, they end up clinched up with Elizabeth showing her raw strength to muscle Hilary onto the nearest set of ropes, the bell rings once they are apart, eyes locked for a moment in a tense stare down, then they retreat to their corners with the Girls Friday corner looking more satisfied with the action this round, still knowing this won't be an easy fight for them.

Round 3:
Stepping back out their corners, Hilary is looking to use her footwork to create angles to strike, Elizabeth looking to use her size to cut the ring off, while it's a solid start from Rhoda, a jab around her right eye slows her down enough for Elizabeth to drive her into a corner with a straight/left hook combo, once in the corner Elizabeth looks to pound the lights out of the model as she covers up, needing to clinch up with Debicki when the punches get through to her face.

It's not long before there's a mouse under the right eye of Hilary, she is being forced into exchanges with the heavier handed blonde, Elizabeth getting the crowd excited when she lands two punch combos through the mitts of her opponent to force her to the ropes, Hilary needing to clinch up to slow down the momentum of the larger woman.

Less then forty five seconds to go, Hilary with her best punches of the round as Elizabeth misses with a right cross, instead a straight from the crouching Rhoda lands into the breadbasket of Elizabeth, followed by an overhand left onto her chin, Hilary roaring as she works on the inside, Elizabeth needing to shove her back as she looks furious, the round comes to a close with Liz banging her gloves together, Hilary getting her swelling around her right eye worked on.

Round 4:
Keeping Hilary on the move around the outside of the ring, Elizabeth is starting to dictate the pace, taking a few clean hits around her body, hitting back with a double jab square into the face of the smaller fighter to make her back off, crowd clapping to urge on their fighter, who lands a crisp left hook across the face of Hilary, opening up a small cut under her right eye to make matters worse for the American.

Who covers up more tightly, giving more freedom for Debicki to step in with a jab/right hook combo, looking to pin down Rhoda to the ropes, just missing with a left hook as Hilary ducks down and clinches up with her, a little blood rubs onto the chest of Liz, with the Aussie pressing her opponent back onto the ropes.

Broken up with less then a minute to go, Hilary tries to come out her shell more, catching Liz with a flush jab/straight around her lips, getting a right back into her face to knock her head back, Elizabeth showing that Aussie power again to push back Hilary towards the outside part of the ring again, Hilary boxing defensively late on as again Debicki is swinging at her with power punches, trying to end things now if she can, the bell rings to stop the action, Elizabeth sitting getting sweat wiped off her, Hilary on the other hand being patched up as she thuds together her gloves, looking to psyche herself up for more hard hitting action.

Round 5:
The tables have definitely turned on the early action in the round, Elizabeth is starting the faster now as she comes to the center, wanting to be the Queen of the proverbial castle by holding the middle to work Hilary around the ring, Hilary starting to use more feints as she moves around to the left side of Elizabeth, while not the more powerful fist of Debicki, as the cut shows it is doing damage.

But a left hook from Elizabeth misses, a counter right lands under the ribs of Liz before a left hook buries into her stomach, retreating back a step, Debicki is caught by an overhand left by Rhoda onto her chin, momentum starting to change as Hilary grits on her gumshield as she digs in, taking several clipping blows to land around the cheeks of the taller fighter and around her torso as she moves in closer.

Slamming in a left hook on the jaw of Elizabeth, Hilary backs her to the ropes as the boos start to ring out again, Elizabeth needing to clinch up and try to rough up Hilary with short digs around her head, referee splits them up with Debicki swinging a right hook that finds air when they resume, too keen to try to gain back control, instead a upward jab from a crouching Hilary slams under the chin of the local favourite, a short right hook to the body follows as Hilary looks to keep the heat on her opponent, the bell rings with Hilary jogging back to her corner taking a breath, Elizabeth meanwhile spits a little blood into the bucket, a cut on the inside of her cheek showing that Hilary is starting to put a dent in her.

Round 6:
More evenly fought start as Hilary looks to up the tempo, Elizabeth is standing her ground as they exchange meaty punches, it's not long though before Elizabeth misses with a left cross, Hilary sees it coming and bangs in a short left around the liver area of the Aussie, who groans out as she bends over, HILARY SHOWING NO MERCY AS SHE SLAMS IN TWO SHORT DIGGING BODY SHOTS, DOWN GOES LIZ TO ALL FOURS!

The giant has fallen as Hilary walks to the neutral corner with hands on her hips, taking a breath as the only one really cheering is Taryn, 1...2....3....4... Elizabeth is groaning as she spits out her gumshield, pushing to her knees, 5...6... Red faced as she holds her stomach, 7....8.... While Nicole is urging her fighter to stand, 9.. All Liz can do is shake her head admitting defeat, 10 as it becomes official moments later.

Winner Hilary Rhoda KO Round 6

After:
Raising her arms with a relieved look on her face, Hilary walks back to her corner having survived the lions den, the crowd still boo her, though it's died down a little as some of the crowd can't believe that Elizabeth couldn't stay on top after those strong middle rounds of the fight.

Getting wiped down with a sponge as she sits on her stool, Hilary tells Taryn "these Aussies certainly pack a wallop" Taryn grinning as she nods, tapping her fighter on her left shoulder to show she is proud of her overcoming a tough test today.

Elizabeth gets an ice pack placed onto her stomach by Nicole, she hisses as her eyes shut, fighting back tears from pain and humiliation of losing in front of her supporters, Nicole is frank with her assessment as she says "I think you let the occasion get to you hun, you had her pinned down several times and looked good, you lost your focus at times wanting a highlight reel knockout" tapping Elizabeth's gloves with her hands as Liz holds the ice pack in her right hand, the beaten fighter nodding in agreement.

Over comes Hilary to offer a fist bump to Elizabeth, who accepts it even as both fighters give the other a hard look, they won't be friends any time soon but there's clearly respect earned on both sides of this bout, Hilary returning to her corner as many in the crowd applauding the gesture.

As soon as Elizabeth is able to stand, she heads out the ring, turning to the crowd to blow them kisses as thank you for their support, she nods as they start chanting "Debicki!" Repeatedly to show they still support her, bringing a tear to her left eye as she wipes it away, then heads off the beach.

Hilary on the other hand heads to the center of the ring, getting her left hand raised by the referee, while it isn't a loud reception, she does get applauded on her victory, she doesn't wait around too long after bowing to each side of the ring, leaving it to go get a drink and some ice for her right eye, Taryn following all smiles as she looks proud of her fighter.
