Alexis Ren vs Zendaya Coleman

Alexis:

BEFORE:
“All this Zendaya-this, Zendaya-that hype is making me gag,” Alexis makes a fake-gurgling noise at the press conference, drawing laughter from the crowds. “She’s in f*cking everything these days, from Dune to Spiderman. I’ll give her credit for stepping into the same ring as me. She won’t be needing her acting chops to get the job done.”

“That’s right, Alexis, I’ll be making you gurgle and choke for real once we’re in there and the sh*t hits the fan,” Zendaya replies from across the table. “Talk about a load of hot air. Ren’s only success was a title belt god knows how many years back. What the hell’s she done since? I’m eager to shut her trap on behalf of everyone else in the FCBA.”

Tense affair as Miss Ren makes more and more enemies no matter where she goes or what she says. Coleman has a two-inch height advantage but both ladies are looking lean and ready to fight, their bodies toned and slender. Girls almost get into a physical altercation at the staredown, with Coleman provoking Ren further by pressing a finger into her forehead. Ren, obviously not happy, slapping it away and then lunging at Coleman, only to be stopped by the numerous fight officials.

Hours later, we’re back in the arena and the ring proper, with Zendaya stretching her arms in one corner. She’s dressed in a black sports bra and short tights, her long hair braided out back. Ren in the other corner, looking like sunshine and dark clouds on the horizon, already bracing herself in a fighting stance. She’s wearing a white sports bra, red bikini briefs, and black gloves.

Referee waves for the bell and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Lightweight action!

ROUND 1:
Zendaya’s proving to be a challenge early on, rocketing shots into Ren’s face from afar, fully utilizing her two-inch height and reach advantage and picking Ren off from a greater distance. Ren grunting, squealing, cursing, as Ren does, forced to eat her words as Coleman launches another quick flurry towards her head to slam leather into the mouth and nose. Ren responds with her firebrand energy, keeps trying to rush in and brawl, negating the reach advantage - she scores a hook or two to the ribs, but the rest are mostly taken on the gloves, allowing Zendaya to pump her fists wide on the way back to the corner.

ROUND 2:
Ren back on the prowl, fighting and moving a little smarter now that she got out-foxed in the first. The Vixen is protecting her head a lot more often, intercepting Zendaya’s attacks from a distance before suddenly leaping in to blast the actress back across the arms or side of the head. Coleman, not too prepared for Ren’s blatant surprise tactics, gets nailed off the temple once and then forced to backtrack when her body takes another pounding shot later on. Coleman however is still fresh, full of promise, using her slender figure to weave backwards to avoid more of Ren’s jabs towards her head, then paying the Vixen back with ammunition from afar: a one-two combo snagging the cheek and then almost taking Ren’s head off with another lunge in from afar. Close round swings back to Ren’s corner, but not by much.

ROUND 3:
Zendaya’s showing off her chops now, underrated for years on the big screen, now criminally underrated in the ring as well. Ever since getting signed to Holloway Boxing, she’s had a mixed showing, managing to fell former Vixen Georgia Mae Gibbs but then floundering afterwards with inaction. Here, she’s set to prove her worth all over again, slapping leather off the cuff, targeting Ren’s forehead repeatedly, and at other times, dipping low to plunge her fists into the blonde’s body. Ren grunting, back to protesting and much gnashing of teeth, manages to catch her foe with the odd cuff off the chin or head, but each time is taking much more punishment in return. Sound of the bell and Coleman’s corner has much to celebrate indeed, as the brunette pulls ahead in terms of points.

ROUND 4:
Ren’s not giving up, however, imitating her opponent in the first minute as the two girls trade leather from afar, each slamming shots into the other’s arms and tummy before daring to step inwards for bigger throws and tosses. Coleman’s slowing down a tad, letting Ren get in too close for comfort. The American actress suffers as a result, getting banged with a hook to the ear in the middle mark, then having to cover up and scramble when Ren rushes in to plunge more fists off her waistline. But Coleman increases her output as well, plunging a right cross straight into the face later in the round to send Ren gurgling back. Ren’s then forced to take cover from the resultant artillery barrage, as Zendaya attempts to make up for her deficit, but doesn’t succeed by the time the bell rings.

ROUND 5:
Ren’s still playing catch-up, but hey, the Vixen’s been in worst spots before. She hammers another left-right combo into Zendaya’s arms early, then weaves back deftly to avoid the comeback flurry from Coleman. Zendaya’s being pushed backwards slowly, but surely, as the fists are being exchanged in closer and closer quarters. They’re mostly hitting the arms up till now, but Ren’s dropping her fists low, squaring those shoulders and helping herself to big servings of tummy, one fist hitting the side before another screams in to shock Coleman up high to the head. Zendaya’s punching back, but mostly scoring off the arms, in danger of being cornered here if she ain’t careful. Ren facilitates the process, blasting another overhand to the arms to send her reeling backwards. Coleman finds herself trapped against the ropes, covering up her head and fending off a barrage of punches to her body and arms! Ren’s huffing and puffing away now, growling as she LAYS IT ON THICK!! Uppercuts cutting into Coleman’s midsection, bowling her over, and the American actress WILTERS away!! A final hook to the head sends the slender girl REELING to the side and DOWN! It’s a KNOCKDOWN for Alexis Ren! Could this be it?! Ren certainly thinks so, parading back to the neutral corner with her arms in the air, cocky nods to her corner and the fans. Coleman valiantly attempts to rise back up but doesn’t make it past her knees! The referee hits the final count of 10 and WAVES the rest of this fight off! It’s OVER!

Official Decision: Alexis Ren defeats Zendaya Coleman via KO5!

AFTER:
“Feels good to be back on top of my game,” Ren shouts into the microphone on the way out of the ring. “I’ve made it my mission to take down every overrated shill of a girl who thinks they’re better than me!”

Coleman works on being revived, still looking red-faced and stunned back in her corner. Once or twice, the actress bristles as Ren approaches, keenly aware of the Vixen’s reputation for post-fight shenanigans and humiliating her foes. But Ren simply rolls her eyes each time they make eye contact, circles back out of the ring, possibly deciding that Coleman ain’t worth her time.

“It’s true what they say - Ren’s an aggressive little b*tch inside and outside the ring,” Zendaya says later on after gaining back her bearings. “I’m going to keep my head down and work harder than ever before. You haven’t heard the last of me yet!”
