Bantamweight action sees a clash of generations as Elizabeth Olsen from Fates takes on Malu Trejevo from Latina Knockouts. Trejevo is over ten years junior to Olsen and has over 80 less fights than the veteran fighter. Olsen has held the title while Trejevo hasn’t sniffed a title fight, but she got a semifinal in the princess of the beach tournament. A win over Elizabeth Olsen tonight could thrust the newer fighter into the top tier of bantamweights in what would be her tenth fight. The two girls meet in the press conference to the flash of cameras.

“Elizabeth has been around the FCBA for too long” Malu says “It is time that someone clears out the fossils from the division and I am going to do that.”

Olsen laughs, “Malu is not the first girl who has said that. She’ll get her chance tonight, but I intend on staying a contender for a long time.”

Come time for the fight, the crowd is loud as both women enter the arena. Trejevo steps into the ring and removes her robe to reveal a white string bikini and matching gloves, the singer posing for the crowd. Olsen steps out seconds later, the Scarlet Witch wearing a black sports bra and matching trunks with red gloves. The two girls stare each other down and thunk gloves at the referee’s request.

Round 1:

Olsen cautiously out of her corner while the upstart Trejevo surges out of hers. Malu with the early strike as she gets in close with the bigger girl but Lizzie comes back with a right into the less experienced fighter’s face. Trejevo stunned and Olsen slams a follow up into her nose, bringing the Cuban girl back to her sense. Malu gets her gloves up to block a follow up from Elizabeth and the Fates girl chases after the Latin Knockout fighter. Lizzie working her jab, landing body blows and working the smaller girl around the ring. Trejevo knows she has to fight back and the Cuban girl plants her feet and connects with a right into Olsen’s chest. Liz grunts but comes back with a right hook into Malu’s jaw and the younger girl staggers back into the ropes. Olsen driving punches into her foe’s ribs as time ends and the Fates girl wins the first round on points, wide.

Round 2:

Malu and Elizabeth surge out of their corners and the bigger actress gets her way early, tagging Malu’s body with lefts and rights. Olsen keeping it textbook but Trejevo finding her counters back and Trejevo hits the American with a right to her jaw. Lizzie stays up but the brunette backs off, and the Cuban girl presses forward. Malu works in close and hits Elizabeth in her ribs. Olsen finds a short left into Trevejo’s body but the Cuban girl smokes the Fates girl with a right and Olsen clinches to stop Trejevo. The ref steps in to pull the two apart and the fight continues. Malu more mobile after the break, dipping and diving and working blows into Elizabeth’s body, but the former bantamweight champion didn’t win the title without being able to fight back and the Scarlet Witch hammers a left back into Malu. The bell rings and the younger girl takes the second round on points.

Round 3:

Trejevo hitting her stride as she leaves her corner and deftly weaves in and out of Olsen’s range, tagging the brunette with lefts and rights to her body as she dances around the ring. Lizzie struggling to keep up with the tempo of the girl more than a decade younger and Malu knows it. The Cuban girl feints right quickly and drills the American with a left to her jaw. Lizzie looks wobbly and Malu swings with a wild overhand right that barely misses the Fates girl. Olsen with a short right into Trejevo’s ribs and the redhead inhales sharply as the brunette finds a follow up left to her midriff. The two girls get tied up and the referee steps in to separate them. The fight continues and Malu takes it up a notch, getting around Lizzie and hitting her chest. The bell rings and Trejevo putting on a clinic.

Round 4:

The Latina Knockout fighter knows she’s on the verge of beating one of the top bantamweights and getting a title shot and the singer knows it. Malu charges out with a big wind up to knock Elizabeth out, but she misses. Lizzie with a short right into Malu’s nose and Olsen’s winding up for a follow up but Trejevo drills an uppercut into Olsen’s chin and the Fates girl nearly goes down! Lizzie covering up as on comes Malu and the ref’s watching closely. Olsen’s guard staying strong but Trejevo goes for her body, the redhead working a red tattoo into the American’s flank. Brunette girl staying up and working the occasional right into the redhead’s flank. The redhead winces and Olsen clinches for a merciful break from the referee. Malu not wasting time out of the break but Elizabeth keeps her distance and the bell rings but Trejevo easily takes the round and is firmly in control.

Round 5:

Trevejo already bouncing up and down before the bell and she charges towards a slow Olsen. Malu with an overhand right that buries itself into Elizabeth’s guard and Malu’s head swivels to her left and Olsen connects with a left of her own. Trejevo snarls and pounds a right into Olsen’s chest but the brunette is not deterred. Lizzie stands her ground and slugs her foe back and it’s a slugfest at bantamweight. Malu turns out her blows more quickly but Lizzie is the one connecting with hers and hammers her foe’s chin. Trejevo clinches and works a sneaky rabbit punch that the ref misses. Olsen and the Fates corner not happy but Trejevo comes right back at the older girl and the brunette has to focus on the fight. Malu with a short right into her foe’s mouth - and her head snaps back as Elizabeth lands all of a left and the bell now saves the redhead. Olsen takes the fifth on points, close.

Round 6:

Olsen with her second wind and the Scarlet Witch feints left and lands a big right out of the gates. Trevejo is still standing but the Cuban girl is wobbly and on comes the American! Olsen not giving Trejevo any chance to recover and the Fates girl peppers her younger opponent with lefts and rights to her body. Malu’s gloves instinctively move to protect her body and the former champion connects with two hooks and down goes Malu! Trejevo shaking her head as she makes her way to all fours and stands up at the count of seven. The ref gives her the mandatory and waves Elizabeth back in. Malu ready for the Fates girl and shoots out a pair of jabs to ward the older girl away but Olsen deftly evades the smaller girl and drives her into the ropes. Lizzie burying leather into Malu’s midriff and the redhead sinks further and further into the ropes. Olsen continuing to pound her foe and the ref steps in! Trejevo sinks to the floor and your winner by TKO6, Elizabeth Olsen!

After:

Olsen heaves a sigh of relief as she takes off her gloves and raises her fists after the fight while Trejevo is helped to a stool, the Cuban girl regaining her senses. Elizabeth goes over to the younger fighter and the two embrace before the Fates girl talks to the press.

“Malu is a tough up-and-coming fighter.” Lizzie says, “She made me work for it tonight.”

Trejevo talks to the press later, the young starlet heartbroken by the result. “Elizabeth may have beaten me today and it hurts but I will beat her when we fight again that is a promise.”
