Results: Lookout Writing Archer

By Request

Madison: 23 YO, 5’5 (1.65 m), 10-11-0, 1 KO since 2019, Unmanaged

Lucy: 33 YO, 5’23 (1.57m), 37-49-0, 35 KO since 2010, Pretty Little Punchers

Before: “I was a little surprised to find out the fans wanted to see me against Lucy Hale,” says singer Madison Beer. “I mean I was released by Lookout Boxing and I’m in 6 fight losing streak So I was thinking I was going to be fighting in some pretty small non-FCBA venues before I could make a comeback. Now this comes along and you bet I see a chance to start my comeback early. Hale hasn’t been doing so hot lately either and I figure that gives me a decent chance to get back to win. After all, I’ve 3 inches on her and I’m 10 years younger. That’s got to give me at least some kind of edge, right?”

Lucy Hale takes this all in with an annoyed look and replies: “I would think you would just be grateful to be here. I am sure all the press out there can see I am ‘vertically challenged’ compared to you, but I like mowing down taller opponents. You won’t be the first. As for our age—kid, it just means I have 10 more years experience than you and I’ll be using that to make sure your next match is in some Hooters parking lot against one of their servers!”

Now Madison flushes: “You don’t have to get nasty about it.”

“Oh, I have a lot of respect for Hooters servers. I just wonder about you,” Lucy replies.

“You little twerp, just wait until I can use my mitts to bust up your cute little face!” Madison growls.

“My ‘cute little face’ has been busted up by better fighters than you and I came back to leave them drooling on the canvas,. Which I hope will happen to you!” Lucy fires back.

Madison looks like she might want to take on Lucy, but she looks up to see Autumn Reeser, Ashley Benson and Sasha Pieterse glowering at her from the wings.

“I can see I am outnumbered now, but it will just be the two of us in the ring and then I’m going get you!” Madison hissed and stalked away.

Lucy exits the stage and sees her stablemates. “I didn’t need backup. I could have handled her in a catfight. You know they call me ‘Hellcat Hale’ for a reason.”

The others laugh and they all exit together.

This otherwise minor fight on the card thus generates more interest than might be expected. The crowd is murmuring with excitement as Madison Beer and Lucy Hale come to the ring. Madison in a light gray bikini with dark gray gloves and boots (light gray laces), dark hair in a ponytail. Lucy in a leopard print bikini with dark yellow gloves and boots (black lacings). Lucy’s bobbed hair is loose, but wetted down. Two are looking at each coldly during the ring instructions and bang their gloves together hard for the glove “tap”. They are back in their corners looking ready to go when the bell rings.

R1: Out they come. Madison lunges forward with wild right hand that lands against Lucy’s cheekbone with enough force to send her reeling. Madison scrambles after the wobbling Lucy and pours in more controlled punching to Lucy’s chin, jaw and sides of the head. Lucy retreats, gloves up around her head as she tries to pull herself together. Madison trying to keep Lucy disorganized as she now strikes at Lucy to the midsection. Lucy soon bent over and just trying to stay on her feet. Late in the round Lucy is finally able to get stabilized and fight back with her jab, but it is too little, too late. Madison Beer wins the opening round wide.

R2: Lucy trying to work her way in close to Madison, who is employing her longer reach to try to keep this from happening. Lucy determined, she bobs and weaves until she has worked her way close enough to start punching Madison to the body. Madison fights back and they go at it in a sustained point blank battle. Madison’s impressive rack a better target than Lucy’s more modest assets so Lucy directs special attention to them. Madison gets the air pounded out of her lungs and has to give ground in order to suck in more oxygen. Lucy up-tempoing her body attack (mainly in the ribs and belly), Madison resisting, but Lucy able to pull out a narrow win at the end of this round.

R3: Now Lucy comes out aggressively with some initial belly punches, but then goes for Madison’s jaw with head swiveling rights and lefts. Madison falls back on shaky legs, trying to keep her gloves up to bock further head shots, but now being shelled to the body. Lucy skillful maneuvering Madison towards the ropes. Madison jabs frantically to stall this effort, but she continues to get swabbed with Lucy;s body hooks to the bell. Lucy ins this round wide.

R4: “I got this jobber!” Lucy confidently tells trainer Nia Peeples. “Not yet. She’s still dangerous, warns the veteran Nia. “I know, I know, but I still got her,” Lucy says. Then the bell rings.

Lucy again tries to work her way in close on Madison. Madison is throwing up a barrage of jabs that Lucy tries to duck and dodge, She then drops down as one of Madison’s jabs whistles over head and then starts to shoot upwards with her right hand cocked to attack Madison’s chin. But Madison sees it coming and jumps back. Lucy hits empty air and lurches awkwardly to one side. BAM! Madison drives a right hand into Lucy’s jaw and BAM! Her left comes right in after it. Lucy’s legs suddenly become entangled AND DOWN GOES LUCY HALE! Lucy lands on her side and rolls onto her back, gloves at her sides.

Madison stares down then breaks into a big sile and skips off to the neutral corners (ringsiders swear she is humming “Ding Dong! The Witch is Dead!” However as Madison watches, Lucy stirs and struggles to her feet to break the referee’s count at “EIGHT!” Lucy tries to shake off having her bell rung as Madison comes in to finish the job. Lucy recovering enough to greet Madison with some big jabs to the juggs. Madison knocked back on her heels and then glares at Lucy for such insolence. She charges in and they trade jugg mugging to the bell. Thankts to the knockdown, Madison Beers wins the round easily.

R5: “OK,OK, you told me so, at least I managed to distract her with some boob busting,” Lucy tells trainer Nia.

“I won’t tell you to be more careful—you know that—but next time you go for a KO shot, donlt telegraph it,” Nia advices.

“I’ll see what I can do,” Lucy says with a faint smile.

The bell soon rings and Lucy leaves her corner. Madison is bearing down on her with a look of fierce determination. Lucy pauses and lets Madison come at her swinging with blockbuster right. Lucy coolly turns her shoulder into the incoming right and blocks it, then she wings back with a right of her own and hits Madison squarely in the right eye. Madison shuddered and recoils in shock. This is all Lucy needs to come pounding at Madison exposed chin an jaw. Madison hit over and over by Lucy’s crushing combinations. Madison flounders back and Lucy jumps after her with one final ripping right uppercut. MADISON BEER CRASJES ONTGO HER BACK! Madison laying there, legs bent upward at the knees, but arms flung out over her head. Lucy take a quick look and heads for the neutral corner. Madison trying to get up as the referee counts, but she keeps falling back and is still stretched out as referee calls:

“NINE!...TEN!...YOURE OUT!”

THE WINNER LHCY HALE DEFEATS MADISON BEER KO4!

After: “Nia Peeples told me to wait for my chance and strike. That’s just what I did and Madison went down and stayed down. Very satisfying to get a win again.”

No comment from a clearly disheartened Madison Beer. Once revived she bursts into tears and has to be led from the ring.

Madison Beer certainly had her chance in the 4th Round, but Lucy managed to survive the knockdown and then come back in the 5th go win it. This was a fight Lucy Hale couldn’t afford to lose and she didn’t. Another setback for Madison Beer, but maybe she can find the way back to FCBA success somewhere down the road,
