Before the fight: Carnation Creations brought these two boxers together for a bantamweight bout in the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, in front of 7,000 cheering fans. The stable wanted this showcase to scout new talents and potentially sign one or both fighters to contracts.

This is Melissa's first professional boxing match in the FCBA, at 32 years young, and her prime fighting potential ahead of her. On the other hand, Milana comes off of a nine-month stint with the Global Boxing Syndicate. She is 35 years young and needs a spark to revitalize her career.

Because this fight is a trial, both boxers are dressed in essential sports bras and boxing shorts outfits; Melissa in kelly green and Milana in maroon. They have Carnation Creations staff in their corners.

This fight is set for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1: Both fighters leap out of their corners, desperate for an early win and a chance to impress Paige Spiranac and Stephanie McMahon in the stands. In the fury of punches, Melissa takes the lead early by landing her attacks flush on Milana's stomach and sides. Her veteran opponent initially gaped her mouth open in shock, surprised that Melissa could mount a brutal attack. Over the minutes of this round, however, Milana recovers and mounts a stout defense. By then, the damage is done to the judges, who award Melissa the round on a 10-8 margin.

Round 2: Milana comes out of the gates determined to prove her record wrong, and she throws clubbing blows to Melissa's upper body. Her attacks land flat against the Mexicana's guard initially, but the younger fighter starts to falter after guiding the first two combinations. Milana heaves her full passion into the third combo, and every jab and cross lands on Melissa's body! She emits a grunt of pain and shuts her eyes for a moment upon receiving that brutal attack. Milana has no intentions of stopping, though, and advances upon Melissa with hard swings of hooks and a cracking right uppercut to her sternum. This last punch ends the round, and the Uzbek native ties up the score 18-18.

Round 3: Of course, Melissa has no intentions of letting Milana keep her advantage, and she shows up this round with a demanding passion! The rookie starts the round ducking and weaving Milana's onslaught, intentionally keeping away while the veteran boxer tires. Her strategy works out, as halfway through the round, Milana starts breathing heavily, and Melissa turns the tables with a set of solid jab-crosses to her opponent's belly button. That strike leaves Milana sucking air and a sitting target for her opponent. Melissa drives Milana back towards the ropes, where she pummels the older rival until the round ends. The Mexicana takes back the lead, 28 to 26.

Round 4: Like the second round, Milana comes out of her corner like a house on fire. However, two things are different here. First, the veteran's attacks move slower, with less power than they landed. Second, Melissa decides to weave around the ring like a ballerina, dodging every attack she can and guarding against the attacks she can't. While Milana landed all the attacks in these three minutes that weren't paring jabs, she didn't do much damage and ended the round stumbling over her feet in exhaustion. Melissa still leads the scoreboards 37-36.

Round 5: After initial attacks by both fighters, Melissa scores a knockdown in the first minute! She looked ready for this round even during the break, while Milana's corner had to pump water down her gullet for their fighter to stay upright. Melissa took advantage of the first jab, and it was only a matter of seconds before she knocked her opponent down. Milana tries to get to her feet but stumbles down at 8. Melissa wins via KO in the 5th round!

After the fight: Even after a brutal war like this, Melissa and Milana hug each other after the Carnation employees clean them up and ensure they're hydrated. Each fighter leaves their separate ways, waiting for an evaluation of their abilities.
