BEFORE: Former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo goes back-to-back against the Lioness Club of America and she's moved a little closer to Minka Kelly's home backyard in the last week after a high-profile trade shipped a certain running back from Charlotte to the Bay Area. Minka vows to give Olivia a really rough welcome party here in California and claims "East Coast girls are inferior by default around here no matter how impressive they look on Sports Illustrated cover! Okay, maybe Brooklyn Decker passed the test but other than that...."
Olivia admits she's here to take down the Hall of Fame scalp and believes Minka can no longer beat a certain crop of fighters: "She's only good enough for 40+ or outright rookies. Look at all the names that beat her up this year: Scott, Fox, Sweeney, Robbie... all in their prime years... just like ME! I'm just gonna add to her misery tonight! Go Niners!" (winks).

Round 1:
Olivia blitzes the opening series and issues a slugging challenge to the southpaw opponent which quickly turns into a rout as Minka can only stop the high-octane assault with her face! Olivia comes out with a ruthless statement as she outworks the older brunette with ease and bashes her around the area to the point Minka simply has to bolt for the ropes in order to delay the buzzsaw. But Culpo is right after her and lands more quick hooks working on speed dial to assume the early control. Minka heaves a couple of efforts but she's nowhere near stopping the fellow brunette's rush and she folds into a desperate earmuff come the final stretch which only adds to Olivia's confidence.
Round 2:
More of the same in the second as Olivia comes out with a power blitz which proves enough to neutralize whatever response Minka has in mind. Things head south for the southpaw when she gets busted in the stomach and Olivia runs up the score by thumping more leather downstairs to add to Kelly's misery. The Hall of Famer ends up hugging the ropes and looking second best by a long mile as she tries to clinch the former Miss Universe but Olivia simply has none of it and shakes off the efforts to pile on more body assault. She digs her elbow into Minka's breasts and lets it rip pure and simple which shocks the LCA coaching staff as much as the audience. The athletic advantage is clearly visible and Olivia just knocks it all over the veteran until Minka slumps behind a desperate earmuff to cover her losses. Not enough! Culpo leads 20-18 after two!
Round 3:
Minka has to slug it right back at the fellow brunette's body and she manages to match the phone booth intensity also helped by a clash of heads that forces Olivia off her tracks. Minka is able to avoid another blitz and knocks in the single leather on the counter-punch while Culpo almost gets too careless having faced very little resistance thus far. She pounces on the southpaw veteran but cuts more thin air than before and runs into a stubborn guard while Minka whacks her on the right ear with her best punch of the night just before the bell.
Round 4:
More clawing from Minka who uses the southpaw counter to knocks it into Olivia's face before a booming left hand nails the younger brunette on the mouth. Olivia refuses to back off here but runs into more trouble when Minka locks her in the phone booth and starts landing some vicious harpoons on target. The high-octane delivery escapes Culpo for a moment and she gets bumped onto the ropes where the California native keeps working in methodical fashion to drain more energy out of the hitherto dominant woman. Olivia lays some of that back but catches Minka's forearms more often than not and gets smacked by a low shot right at the bell. It was legal but Culpo is still furious how Kelly suddenly gives her a lenghty eyeball before turning back to her corner. Game on?
Round 5:
We've seen this script before, Minka starts ice cold and then gets hot once her opponent wants to catch some breather sitting on favorable scorecards. Olivia learns that lesson the hard way when she gets cut up below the left eye early in the fifth and has to embrace a vicious body assault thereafter. It's Minka time to deliver the blows and she ravages all that athletic ribcage and then some shoving the former pageant onto the ropes and almost right through them as well. It's about who can hurt the other the most and another belting combo sinks Olivia into loud spasms while Minka simply doesn't let go and carves more holes in the open target until the Rhode Island brunette finally clinches her into safety. Some jug-to-jug contact and Culpo shows off some strenght but too late to salvage the round as she cuts a slightly aching figure while heading back to her corner.
Round 6:
Olivia is ready to roll out with the slugging drive but Minka shoves all-in and beats the younger brunette for the all important heater. She adds another gash below the left eye and neutralizes Culpo in the center of the ring. She ducks underneath a half-hearted swing and spikes the breasts before driving a left hand on the solar plexus while Olivia tries to catch her breath. Ugh! She can't... before another harpoon slams her on the chest and SENDS HER DOWN FOR THE COUNT!!! Uh-oh! Olivia crashes onto her knees and stays on all fours desperately trying to find her breath back. She makes a late recovery but only gets up on one knee and pounds the canvas in frustration once the merciless count passes her by! KO6 Minka Kelly!!!
AFTER: Another trademark Minka victory with her opponent lost for answers how it actually happened. Olivia dismisses the two cuts under the left eye and claims the LA southpaw doesn't even punch that hard but there she is celebrating victory again! Eva Mendes joins the crew in the center of the ring and tells Olivia to try her chances at Margot Robbie and wait for her turn at the Lioness redemption. Olivia came up short versus Nina Dobrev already and her intended short cut to elite conversation has been definitely put on hold for the time being.
