Pre-Fight: In the Elite Eight round of the Queen of the Ice Hotel Tournament, the next matchup is between League of Mighty Women’s Amy Willerton and Bonzo’s Gym’s Camille Kostek. Amy got a big win in the previous round, but now she needs an even bigger win against one of the favorites of the tournament. As for Camille, she wants to go through these early rounds without problem to live up to the expectations.

Amy is wearing a white faux fur bikini set with matching gloves and boots with her hair tied into a ponytail. Camille is wearing a black faux fur bikini set with matching gloves and mukluks with her hair also tied into a high ponytail. The referee signals for the bell!

Fight: Round 1 & 2: Both women are being cautious at the start of the round as they don’t want to give their opponent an opportunity to take control of the fight early on. Amy is using her slight reach advantage to fire some punches from range, while Camille steps in with one-two combos to the body. They are slowly finding their range and pace that they are comfortable with. No real damage is done, but they keep adding to their punch count with some clean hits. Amy scores with a few straights that land hard in the first round to get a narrow win, while Camille comes out on top by a small margin in the second round with a longer exchange in the last minute in which she punishes her opponent’s ribs. They are even on the scorecards after the first two rounds.

Round 3 & 4: Amy increases her pace at the start of the third round as she quickly and frequently steps in and out of range to score with short combinations. Camille is caught off guard with this sudden change of pace and finds herself on the back foot. After spending the first minute of the round trying to defend herself with mixed results, Camille finally starts firing back to slow Amy’s momentum. It works for a while, but then it backfires in the final minute of the round as Amy finds an opening while Camille tries to drive her back and lands a nasty jab-straight combination that knocks the American’s head back. Amy lands a few more clean punches before the end of the round to win it wide. Camille survives Amy’s offense in the beginning of the fourth round and then slowly balances things out as she re-establishes her own offense. Still, Amy lands cleaner punches and ends up being the more active fighter. So, she wins the fourth round as well and takes a commanding lead on the scorecards. Camille needs to be careful and start winning rounds if she wants to avoid a big upset.

Round 5 & 6: Amy is on the attack once again as she looks confident in her abilities after winning the last couple of rounds. She takes control of the center of the ring and tags Camille with short combinations to start the round. However, around the halfway point of the round, Camille finally gets her groove back after ducking under a wild swing by Amy and landing a nice counterpunch in the form of an uppercut. It shifts the momentum in Camille’s favor, who is now on the attack with one-two combinations up top and some shovel hooks to the body. Camille ends up winning the round and getting back into this fight. In the next round, Camille starts to put more pressure on her opponent. She lands a lead uppercut to the abs and follows it with a hook to the ribs and a hook to the chin to make a lightning start to the round. Amy is on the back foot, trying to defend from that point on. However, she is struggling to do so as Camille powers through her defense with stiff punches. The American model corners her British counterpart in the last thirty seconds of the round. She first blasts Amy’s body with powerful hooks to drop her guard and then goes up top, landing some nasty punches. Amy is barely saved by the bell, but she is not in a good shape with her nose bloodied by the impact of her opponent’s punches. Camille not only wins the round to tie things up on the scorecards, but she also takes complete control of the fight. It’s not looking good for Amy.

Round 7: Camille clearly wants to finish her opponent off this round as she quickly moves in and starts blasting Amy with combinations as the Brit still looks in a rough shape after the last round. Camille hits a straight that slips through Amy’s guard and lands right on her nose that causes it to bleed once again. Blood trickles down Amy’s chin and drips down on her chest, staining her white faux fur bikini top. Camille switches targets to keep her dizzy opponent guessing as she goes to the body with two big hooks to the ribs. Amy groans as her guard drops and Camille doesn’t waste any time to take advantage of this opening with a one-two combo up top. As Amy takes a couple of unsteady steps backwards, Camille lands a massive hook that turns and drops the Brit down! Camille walks toward the neutral corner, but she doesn’t need to wait long for the result as the referee takes one look at the out cold Amy and calls for the bell! It is all over!

Post-Fight: Camille keeps her celebration short and simple as she seems to be focused on her next fight in the tournament already. She goes over to check up on Amy, who is sitting on her corner stool to recover. They bump fists to show mutual respect before leaving the ring. Amy caused some problems for her early on, but Camille finished strong in the last couple of rounds to show why she is one of the favorites. As for Amy, it is the story of her season this year, fighting well against a top competitor, but falling short once again.
