Bella Thorne’s looking pumped in the pre-fight presser, coming off a 7-fight winning streak with no signs of slowing down. The Doll bounces up and down in her seat at the long table, before responding to questions tonight about her choice of opponent:

"Malu is my girl. So… I'm not gonna go all out on her ass tonight. BUT, she kept telling me how she could beat me so… we're finally gonna test that out tonight.” Bella sends a sly smile towards her friend at the other end of the table. “It's all up to her in there...if she goes hard I'll go hard too. I'll try not to knock her out but...I can't promise you anything Mal.” Bella concludes with a smirk.

"Oh I'm going hard tonight baby. Believe it! VERY hard!” Malu Trevejo responds from across the room, beaming wide but with a win-loss record that’s the flip side of Thorne's. The Latina Knockouts starlet is on a 3-fight losing streak, with her choice of opponent tonight not leaving much room for the imagination. “I love you Bella but someone needs to knock you off that pedestal they put you on and it might as well be me.” Lavu says with complete confidence. “And…If you don't knock me out - I'll knock YOU out. How about that?" the brunette ends with a wry chuckle.

Thorne is still sporting that four-inch height advantage compared to her friendly rival, towering over Malu by almost a full head when the two meet at the press conference. Still, it’s the first cordial handshake for the Dollhouse veteran, offering her friend the best of luck before Malu reciprocates with a hearty wring of her hand as well.

Fight night and Malu is first to strut into the arena, a sexy shiny black bikini top holding her JMD caliber rack together and she’s wearing short black trunks, with her dark tresses tied in a messy ponytail – Malu’s going full assassin mode tonight clad in all black, pumping matching black gloves to the best of Latina Pop as she confidently makes her way to the ring accompanied by her team. Up next, it’s the Dollhouse’s most accomplished fighter and current JMD champion (who is NOT defending her title tonight as this is a regular bout) – Bella Thorne makes her entrance regal and pompous to some deafening cheers, striding onto the stage with a light step and dance to the punk pop music, sticking out her tongue to the audience, before skipping all the way down the rest of the way to the ring. The Dollhouse fighter’s sexy body is clad in a small red bikini top and long red tights, complete with red boxing gloves on either hand, her red hair tied in a loose pony tail. It’s RED vs BLACK tonight and these two goddesses are ready to rumble in their corners, shaking their gloves loose and awaiting the referee’s signal. There’s the wave of the hand and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
Bella surprisingly slow out of the gate, circling slowly and poking at Malu’s head from afar. She definitely wants to feel out Malu with jabs first, questions later, but that smirk on her face also is telling: she ain’t taking her ‘friend’ too seriously, poking at her face as though she was a sparring partner back in the gym. Malu, however, has other ideas, sending barrages into the arms and laying smack on Bella’s body, once or twice driving her backwards and almost near the ropes. It’s a semi-friendly-playful bout for both girls but this is quickly becoming competitive… Malu means business when she’s repeatedly claimed to be able to take Bella down in friendly conversations, and she means it. Bell rings, but not before Trvejo lunges and pierces the tummy with another snap uppercut, making Bella grunt as the blow landed hard. Close round to Malu!

ROUND 2:
Bella picks up speed, no longer smirking after being forced to take Trevejo seriously. That smirk has been transferred over to Trevejo’s face, and despite multiple assaults inwards, Thorne's attacks only slam into the arms and body, but still not able to crack that guard. Thorne lets out another shout of alarm, however, when Malu deflects one of her hooks before roaring inwards and under to get into her face. The Latina fighter resumes her chugging shots at Bella’s undercarriage, the height difference making it much easier for Trevejo to land her mitts off that lean tummy and chest. Bella tries to cover up and scram, and only succeeds when she catches Malu back across the face with a tight right hand, more jabs fired straight in to stop her in her tracks!

ROUND 3:
Bella’s cautious strategy pays off, and her concentrated fire is wreaking havoc all across Malu’s facial features. The Latina starlet needs to close distance and wail away at Thorne's body, but keeps eating shots to her cheek and nostrils, and gets her head turned to the side when the Doll slams another stiff right hand into the cheekbone. Malu, however, stubborn as hell, desperately wants to back up her words with actions. In the wild exchanges, she lands her own mitts off Bella’s flanks, bashing her repeatedly on the sides and ribs to send Bella backing away towards the final seconds of the round.

ROUND 4:
Malu ain’t giving up the chase, and by now, hoped to impress upon Bella how much she knows she can KO the Dollhouse queen. Bella is back to keeping her at arm’s length with that right hand extended and focused on the eye, but Trevejo predicts the pattern mid-round and slaps the jab out of the way like a pesky fly, barrels a right cross into Bella’s face instead! OUCH! Thorne lets out a grunt, her head snapped back, then to forwards, as Malu charged in and drilled an uppercut to the midsection to bowl her over in half. All bad news for Bella Thorne, who’s getting walked back towards the ropes, trying to cover up! Bell rings soon after, however, giving the Doll the breathing space required. Malu’s face filled with mixed emotions here: on the one hand, wanted to finish this fight and make a statement. On the other, she’s been dominating one of the most dangerous girls in the FCBA so far, so there’s that!

ROUND 5:
Thorne begins to wake up, eyes narrowing in focus and head dipped low to hide that chin behind her arms. Finally, she realizes that her ‘frienemy’ really, really wants to hurt her, and thus treats Trevejo’s advance like any other insolent assault on her superiority. Malu is sensing the change in her foe’s demeanor, decides to charge in all the more and shower Bella with punches before it’s too late. Thorne weathers the assault in the first minute and a half, taking cross-hands to the arms, making her grunt, then her body getting tagged by more sudden lunges down under. After the middle mark, however, Bella strikes back, firing swift combos aimed for Malu’s face, using her strengths to maximum effect.

ROUND 6:
Trevejo looks pink-faced and scowling when the bell rings for the sixth, but that’s not stopping her assault. She pressures Bella right from the beginning of the bell, darting inward and mixing up her combos with left-right jabs and straight cross-hands down the middle. Bella, partially surprised by her friend’s excellent stamina, always runs backwards a step too slow. As a result, she takes a right hook to the side of the head, which dazes her, before Malu almost traps her against the ropes with several shocks to the tummy in left-right-left-right fashion. Thorne employs some power of her own in the final minute, weaving away from one of Malu’s fists before tagging the Latina girl straight on the chin with one hell of a slobberknocker! Too late for Thorne to try and give chase, as the bell rings soon after! Another good round for the wannabe challenger, with Malu still smirking her way back to her corner!

ROUND 7:
Trevejo’s recent losses to Elizabeth Olsen and Demi Lovato were definitely unfortunately blemishes on her career record, but Boxing World Magazine liked to say, you don’t fall very far in the rankings when you’re up against girls of such caliber. Here, she faces down none other than Bella Thorne, a multi-time Bantamweight and of course the current JMD champion. Trevejo tries to rush in and finish Bella off, but gets her early attacks blocked by the Doll’s incessant guard, till more follow-up blasts are blocked or taken on Bella’s raised arm. Thorne soon has had enough of this charade, knocking a hook into the side of the chin to dazzle the would-be dethroner, Trevejo letting out a shout of pain as she stumbles back, looking hurt! AND HERE COMES BELLA, hoping to put her friend in the ground but do so quickly and as painless as possible! Left-right combo stuns the nose and lips, before a step-in right cross STUNS Malu to the jawline, and CLOTHESLINES her off her feet! Trevejo HITS the ground with a hard THUMP to her back, and there she lies, utterly spreadeagled and breathing hard! It’s a KNOCKDOWN for Miss Bella Thorne!

Trevejo’s eyes are wide open and staring up at the ceiling lights, still registering the impact for a couple of seconds. Then, as the referee begins to count upwards to 5, the Latina girl forces her back off the ground, wincing, but peeling herself limb from limb from the canvas. Bella has almost grudging respect for her friend when Malu recovers by the count of 8, though on very shaky feet.

Referee signals for the resumption of this fight, and Trevejo will have to dig deep and wait out the next minute and a half if she wants to survive this fight! Here comes Thorne again, not waiting for Trevejo to get her back off the ropes before sinking the first right hand into her middle paunch, drawing a sharp grunt from Malu, with the rest of her body shaking with pain. More and more punches come landing to her sides and arms, Bella keeping herself close and on top but not too close, wailing and wailing away on the poor girl till the referee finally makes the first move to stop this fight! Thorne looks relieved, about to throw that last punch right between the eyes, but pulled back right at the split second the referee started to move in to cover her friend. That’s it, though! Bella Thorne takes it via TKO7!

Official Decision: Bella Thorne defeats Malu Trevejo via TKO7!

AFTER:
It might be an expected outcome, but we got one HELL of a fight with Malu pushing Bella to 7 rounds and controlling the first half of the fight, taking it to Bella hard but never scoring that elusive knockdown which might have propelled her to victory. Bella Thorne breathing hard, raising her arms to the fans for a short moment but quickly turns her attention to her friend who’s slumped on the rope in bad shape. The redhead hugging her friend and helping her steady herself as the two exchange a few words, and it seems like Malu will be able to make it back to her corner on her own.

Bella gets her arm raised but raises Malu’s arm as well, the exhausted brunette manages a pained smile as the two friends pose in the middle of the ring to wild cheers throughout the arena.

Bella and Malu hug it out one last time before going to their separate corners to get treated, but some fans in the crowd want more, starting a J-M-D chant that lasts for a few long seconds, perhaps setting the stage for a future JMD clash between these two in the future.

Not the near future, that’s for sure, as Bella has bigger things on her mind, having 1 month to prepare for her upcoming JMD title defense against non other than the Lioness Alpha Jessica Lowndes! These two hellcats will meet for the first time in the ring in a fly vs bantam JMD showdown for the ages.

Will the smaller Lowndes be able to take out Thorne and finally end her long JMD reign or will the Lioness Alpha end up as another one of the redhead's many victims? Only one way to find out. Do NOT miss next month’s PPV!
