Jessica Lowndes vs Camila Mendes

BEFORE: It's been exactly two years since Jessica Lowndes & Camila Mendes split a pair of fights so it's time for a rubber match that inadverently delayed some of the Lioness Alpha's plans: "Guess what, I'm still in hot demand. Odds & Ends called me first but I got something else lined up for next month already! This will be BIG! Even bigger than the bump on Camila's head in few minutes time!" (giggles).
Meanwhile Camila hopes for more luck she enjoyed in her Dove Cameron rivalry where she beat the blonde in the wrong fight so to speak: "So I missed out on becoming a two-time champ. Grrr... that stupid bimbo owns me one for sure. Whatever I lost to Cameron I will get it back from Lowndes. She's never really that good anymore. For real! Her singing is probably even worse than her boxing though! Is that a compliment?" (giggles).
Jessica Lowndes wears a black bikini set & red/white gloves with a painted maple leaf on them. Long dark brown hair tied in a high ponytail. Camila Mendes wears a light blue bikini set & silver gloves. Long black hair tied in a fighting braid. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.
Round 1:
Jessica jumps into a hectic slugging attack and triggers an early war of attrition in the middle of the ring. Camila takes a couple of big hits up the middle but accepts the challenge and swings over the top trying to smack the older brunette with a vintage one-timer. She fails in her efforts and gets boxed out of the zone as the Canadian brunette gets behind her shots in better fashion. She knocks Camila's head back & forth and drops her into coverage come the second minute. Camila tries to adjust her stance and give it another go but she thinks better off it once Lowndes hands her a faceful of leather. Ugh! Mendes trips back to the ropes and has to clinch the older actress but she still soaks up several crisp body blows in the process.
Round 2:
More of the same in the second, Lowndes goes for the slugging challenge and Camila has to beat her with a superior effort. Both women trade hard punches otherwise which raises the noise inside the arena but there is no real breakthrough until Mendes cracks a harpoon series to the body and moves to punish Jessica's rack as well. Ugh! The Lioness Alpha refuses to back off from the zone however gets further compromised by a clash of heads and Camila takes over command in close range afterwards. She pummels the older brunette to the body and whacks her with an uppercut double which slumps Lowndes on the ropes. Camila stays on the throttle and smacks more leather up the middle to keep her opponent trapped behind a tight earmuff for remainder of the round.
Round 3:
More slugging on display as Jessica crashes into the fellow brunette's chest and tries to inject some jug muggin' action but Camila fends off the initial series and whacks the older woman over the top. They still engage in a heated close range dispute and punish each other from both flanks until Lowndes connects with a couple of hooks on each temple and drives a low harpoon into Mendes' navel. Ugh! Camila stumbles back onto the ropes and just misses a great escape while Jessica plugs her with more menacing hooks and pins butt-in-ropes thereafter. Camila has to slug it out but only matches the Canadian's intensity and eats another vicious combo on the mouth right at the bell.
Round 4:
Camila is visibly furious with the fact she's been unable to enforce her presence in the ring but she enjoys a better spell in the fourth thumping the older brunette to the chest herself. Jessica is no stranger to JMD action but she becomes a little careless here while Mendes can land a mean punch after all... or more! She pummels the Canadian's rack in high-octane fashion and drops a low harpoon on the liver area before shoving Lowndes onto the ropes. The Lioness Alpha swings back from the hole but fails to make an impact and gets clobbered around as Mendes scrubs her off in supreme fashion triggering a verbal exchange at the bell.
Round 5:
Mendes picks up where she left off and bulldozes the older brunette to the body scoring easy hits on the exposed ribcage before moving up to smack Jessica on the chin. Ugh! The Canadian tries to swing back but aims for the fences more than anything and enables the Cuban-American to blast her from point-blank range with punches crashing into both face & jugs. Woof. Jessica stumbles back to her heels and tries to find mid-range respite but Mendes keeps the pressure on and clobbers the ailing foe back to the ropes where she finds more success thumping several hooks on target to the point Jessica crumbles under the barrage and SLIDES DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE just past the two-minute mark! Camila leaps in the air and thinks she's done enough here but not... so... fast! The Maple Leaf pride rises to the challenge and Jessica does beat the count at seven despite showing a nasty swelling around her lips. She barks at the Odds & Ends corner and is ready for redemption while Mendes comes in hot to finish the job. Lowndes remains pinned on the ropes but escapes the knockout fate and even sticks a couple of hooks into her opponent's face before the bell.
Round 6:
Camila has all the momentum now and... and... WALKS into a right hook on the jaw that spins her sideways before Jessica plugs her in the solar plexus with a ruthless follow up. Ugh! The Lioness Alpha refuses to check out of this fight and triggers another war of attrition in the center of the ring which is extremely risky by all accounts... but she SMOKES the Cuban-American with a left hook on the ear and slumps her forward to meet a brutal uppercut combo on the chin.... DOWN... GOES... MENDES!!!! Shocking turnaround in the ring as Jessica struts back to her corner while Camila only makes it back onto all fours half-way through the count and cuts a very wobbly figure when she gets up at eight... oh, wait... knees buckle underneath her and down she goes again!!! All over!!! KO6 Jessica Lowndes in shocking come-from-behind fashion!!!
AFTER: How about this one? Mendes had the notorious Canadian operator down & out at half-distance and folded into a shocking defeat literally two minutes later. It's almost too hard to explain this outcome and Camila will be kicking herself for letting a win slip through her ahem... gloves the way it happened. Ugh. That was ugly.
So, Lowndes takes the Mendes rubber match and all eyes are on her plans for December but she keeps everyone guessing: "I'll let the other party reveal the details. The fight will be a home run for the fans. And no, Vanessa Hudgens' tawdry ass won't be involved, that's all I can say at the moment!" (winks).
