FIGHT SUMMARY:
Aussie powerhouse as a slight advantage in youth and power, but she eventually gets outmatched and classed by the veteran Kostek, who begins to dismantle her defences and begin landing powerful blows off her chin. Harrison was relying on her power to get the job done early, shocking Kostek with hooks to the head and body, but then gets one of her attacks parried uselessly to the side, and it’s all downhill for the Siren from then on out!

Let’s not forget Kostek was the previous winner of the Diamond Welterweight tournament, and so she quickly takes control of the rest of fight, pushing Harrison back with a well-timed intercept or avoidance of her swing, before shocking the Aussie fighter with stiff hooks to her chin, or straight into her body, quickly overpowering the newcomer within sixth rounds.

Harrison’s ultimately put to bed with a left-right combination across her face, before an uppercut lifts her chin and the pressure proves TOO MUCH for her to handle. She collapses in the third minute of the sixth round, and barely makes any attempt to rise back up to continue the fight, giving Kostek the easy first round win in the tournament!
