BEFORE

Lisa is at the podium. Charlize as usual is in her dressing room watching Lisa on the TV. Lisa starts talking “You know, every once in a while something comes up that you just can’t refuse. I would say I had a moderately successful career winning titles in two weight divisions and I retired last year. I got a call from my ex-manager who asked me if I was interested in another fight. I told him not really, but who was it. He said Charlize Theron. I couldn’t believe it. I told him hell yes. I called a couple girls I knew who had faced her recently. They told me Charlize was not the fighter she was ten years ago, but she is still better than a lot of fighters. She is a dangerous fighter, but she now has some weaknesses that I could capitalize on. A win over the GOAT of the FCBA would be huge and I have nothing to lose by taking this fight and making a few dollars. Now those fighters I talked to had all lost to her, so I am under no delusions. This is going to be a tough fight. I’m not going to make any prediction about who is going to win. I am just going to say only one of us is going to be left standing at the end.”

Charlize, watching in her dressing room jumps off a massage table and says “Let’s go” Kate Upton looks at Charlize and says “You better be the one standing. I’m getting tired of helping your sorry butt get back here after a fight.

THE FIGHT

Maffia is already in the ring. She’s wearing a maroon bikini with black boots and gloves. He hair is short and framing her face. Charlize comes down the aisle in her usual black robe with hood pulled over her head hiding her face. In the ring, she removes the robe revealing her usual red bikini, red boots and gloves. Her blonde hair is in a pony tail. They meet in the center of the ring for the formality of instructions and touch gloves

Round 1. Charlize is aware her usual opening of right jabs is well known, but she has a reach advantage over her opponent. She snaps out three right jabs catching Lisa on her way in. Lisa backs off looking for an opening. Suddenly, she moves in blocking a jab and landing a right-left to Charlize’s midsection.

Charlize responds with a right cross to the lead. Then a left and another right. She’s punching Maffia back to the ropes. Lisa gets her guard up to protect her head and the blonde goes to the body with short punches ripping into Lisa’s

Midsection. Lisa goes into a shell protecting her body with her gloves covering her face as she rides out Theron’s offensive. Suddenly, she comes out of her shell with a right uppercut to the blondes jaw that drives her back and Lisa is quickly off the ropes and into the center of the ring. Theron is not letting her off the hook, as she lands quick one-two of Maffia’s face and a right to the head. Maffia lands one her own jabs to Charlize’s face and then backs off moving in a circle looking for an opening. Charlize is not moving, just carefully watching her, waiting for her to make her move. The bell ends the round. In Theron’s corner, Upton tells “Not a bad round. You booked the points, but you are playing patty cake. Get serious and start putting power behind those fists.

Round 2. Charlize is quickly out of her corner, ready to end the fight early. She pushes our that right jab. Lisa takes it and comes up with a hard right upside the blonde’s head. Theron is stopped in her tracks and Maffia lands a left to the head and then another right. She has the blonde against the ropes. Charlize misses with a big right cross and and Lisa drives an overhand right to her face driving Charlize’s head back over the top rope. As the blondes head comes back, Maffia buries a right into Theron’s solar plexus. Lisa set up for the killer punch, but Charlize stumbles along the ropes into a corner. Lisa thinks she has the blonde trapped in the corner, but as she moves in Theron lands a overhand right to her face. Charlize trys to move out of the corner. Lisa stops her with right buried into her stomach. A right straightens Theron up with her mouthpiece hanging out the side of her mouth. A right cross sends the mouthpiece flying to the floor. Lisa follows with a pair of overhand punches to Theron’s bra bring an audible groan of pain from the blonde. Charlize starts to let loose with an uppercut, but another right to her face stops her as she sags back to the corner pole. The referee is watching carefully, but Charlize manages to get her gloves up protecting her face although they are on the limp side. Once again, as Maffia moves in to finish her opponent, Theron manages a weak right to Lisa’s head as Maffia punches the blonde’s head to the left then the right and back left. Charlize looks like she is ready to go as the bell rings. In Theron’s corner, the Nascar team goes into emergency mode while Upton it telling Charlize that she is in trouble. They are going to expect her to stay away for the round. Instead she tells Charlize that she has to surprise her and go after Maffia, use her reach advantage. Start using her power while keeping Maffia away. The corner team should have her back in decent shape. In Maffia’s corner, she is telling her corner that she can’t believe Theron is still going to be able to continue. She hit her with everything and she is still standing. She is told that she needs to finish the fight now and to go after the blonde

Round 3. Just before the bell rings Maffia is little unnerved when she sees Charlize standing pounding her gloves together. At the bell both move to the center of the ring. Charlize fakes a right and comes over the top with an over hand right to the face knocking Lisa back a few steps. She quickly recovers and lands a right to the right side of the blondes head. Charlize responds with a left to the head. Lisa lands a left and Charlize with a right. They are toe to toe swaping punches to the head. The crowd is on it’s feet as the two continue to swap punches. Charlize staggers Lisa with a right, but before she can take advantage, a Miffia right buckles her knees.They are slugging it out. Neither if backing down. Both going for the knockout. Lisa lands another right to the head. Charlizes right hand is dropping. Lisa pounds out a left and then Charlize’s right comes off her hip as her body twists and the right comes up with most of Charlize’s weight behind it. The punch lands on the point of Lisa chin. She sways as her hands drop and she goes down. She’s on her back. Charlize is standing over looking down at her opponent. Upton yells at Charlize to get to a corner as the referee waves to a corner and begins the count. It’s obvious the fight is over as the referee goes through the formality to doing a ten count. In Theron’s corner Upton give her a big hug. “You did good but don’t try that slugging against me or I will be visiting you in the hospital.

Charlize Theron defeats Lisa Maffia (KO3)

AFTER

Charlize and Lisa meet the press. I appreciate Lisa taking this fight. I really didn’t appreciate it during the second and third round. I haven’t been in a slug out like the third round in a long time. I’m lucky to have survived.

Lisa: “Well I lost the fight but all was not lost as I made a rather generous payday. I was warned that Charlize was dangerous and could take a lot of punishment. I was warned about that right hand. I got caught up going for the KO. I got careless and a I paid the price. Charlize won and I lost. End of story
