BEFORE: Time for a vintage blonde model battle with more than just pride on the line. Joy Corrigan carries a four-fight winless streak capped off by a draw against the dangerous Ming Xi last time around while Elsa Hosk comes off back-to-back losses to elite contenders Kelly Rohrbach and Hannah Ferguson and some pundits claim she's simply punching above the proverbial weight right now and maybe should focus on a more manageable schedule instead of looking for a hime run result. The leggy Swede has claimed some quality wins in the past and she's really much better boxer than her record indicates. That's what Erin Andrews in the FOX booth says anyway!

Round 1:
Elsa wants to make a statement against an opponent coming off a gruesome ten round battle last month and she rips into Joy's rack straight away before working upstairs to connect with her jaw as well. Joy struggles to embrace the ultra-aggressive start and leaks more punches up the middle as Hosk rattles her from both flanks and backs into the ropes in confident fashion. It's not like Corrigan doesn't like to slug it out in daredevil fashion but she's getting outworked here in the hole and begins to squeal in visible discomfort when Elsa keeps blasting her like there's no tomorrow. The lanky Swede slumps the fellow blonde behind a tight earmuff and simply keeps on going for remainder of the round stuffing Corrigan like Christmas turkey for lack of a better word. Uh-oh! Lioness coach Claudia Schiffer is shocked to see this happen and maybe, just maybe Joy should have been rested this month after that Ming Xi battle of attrition.
Round 2:
Elsa goes for the home run already but misses with the initial one-two bouncing off the American's forehead which opens the door for a rare counter. Joy flies in from the inside and ROCKS the Swedish model with a brutal chin checker before smashing a right hook on the ear. Uh-oh! Elsa fish-tails to her heels and doesn't raise her gloves fast enough so Joy follows through with another vicious right hook that tags Hosk on the nose. AND DOWN SHE GOES!!! Disaster for the European fanbase as Elsa hits the deck spilling blood from the busted nostrils to boot! What is going on here? Elsa stays down on her back and descends into a sobbing disarray as the merciless count suddenly passes her by. A complete shocker here after that one-sided opener! KO2 Joy Corrigan out of frickin' nowhere!
AFTER: Even the Lioness entourage is shocked this fight is over so quickly! Claudia Schiffer didn't even have time to come up with a Plan B after Joy got pummelled around during the opening round and here we are two minutes later celebrating her victory! Elsa suffered a nasty bleeding from her nose and has to be escorted to the locker room for medical checks. Word is she avoided a broken nose but this one will sting the Swedish model in more ways than one! Meanwhile Joy is ready to go live on social media as she snaps her winless streak in emphatic if fortunate fashion: "It doesn't matter how they go down as long as they go down! I finished this cow off in KO of the Night fashion! I want my bonus now!" (laughs).
