Nina Dobrev vs Sydney Sweeney

(Lioness Club of America vs Global Boxing Syndicate)
(64-33-1, 56 KO vs 13-7, 13 KO)
Results: Lookout!; Story: Vassago

BEFORE: It's time for official fight #99 on Nina Dobrev's record and she's set to clash against the tricky Sydney Sweeney who has claimed one Lioness scalp this year already taking down current bantamweight champion Minka Kelly back in March. Sydney has all the tools to become FCBA lineal champion one day and BLONDE! Magazine believes there's every chance she might earn a rematch with Kelly if she plays her cards right. There is only one problem, Nina is determined to enter the Hall of Fame on a high note amid rumours the milestone 100th fight will be announced later tonight already. The paperwork is signed according to multiple backstage reports.

Nina Dobrev wears a red bikini set & black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a half-up ponytail. Sydney Sweeney wears a light blue bikini set & silver gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Nina makes the early impression thumping the blonde's rack like she's been doing JMD all this time but a quick hook on the jaw puts her back and forces to find a regular response which she does. Sydney's otherwise pretty face gets thumped from the inside and there's nowhere to hide for the Washington buxom blonde so she gets clobbered onto the ropes outright! Nina isn't a genuine slugger when she doesn't have to but she wants to dominate the blonde in her own right and keeps blasting her to the body while Sydney barely hangs on without a whimper. However Dobrev's charge proves vastly superior and bends the younger actress into a squealing disarry in the closing moments that leaves GBS coach Salli Richardson fuming during the break.

Round 2:
Sydney finds her response working to Nina's body but the attack needs more power supply to throw the Canadian actress off her stance. She falls short of the mark and gets dragged into another jug muggin' dispute which Nina seems to enjoy despite minimal experience. However Sydney finds her slugging mojo thumping more leather to the body and she cripples Dobrev with a rare gut shot boosted by a stray elbow on the boobs. Nina wobbles to her heels and gets overrun onto the ropes where she tries to clinch the younger actress but still eats several vicious blows up the middle as Sweeney cleans up to take the round on points.

Round 3:
More of the same in the third, Sydney works the body assault to stuff Nina on her heels before landing more shots on the rack just to indicate she can fight this one on her terms. Nina gets vocal as she tries to find her range but all those body shots appear to wear her out much sooner than anyone in the Lioness entourage would have wanted and the Canadian brunette has to seek a rare clinching respite against the pre-fight odds. Sydney was never an easy out but she flat out belts the soon-to-be Hall of Famer and powers her way into a commanding position with Dobrev glued onto the turnbuckle and taking more body shots in the process. Bell.

Rounds 4 & 5:
Nina scrubs off the damage and tries to plug extra leather into the blonde's rack but this is where Sydney can really take a mean punch. More wrestling follows as Dobrev gets visibly annoyed by the blonde's resistance and gets lectured when she drops a rare low shot on the groin. Sydney is happy to seek jug-to-jug contact and she drives the older actress onto the ropes but Nina loops more head shots to regain control and keeps piling more head shots in the fifth to keep Sweeney at bay. Mid-range belongs to Nina who spins & wheels away from the foolish jug muggin' plan and she leaves a couple of visible lumps around Sydney's lips in the process. She belts her on the navel as well but then takes a big hook on the jaw and escapes with a fortunate bell when the blonde jumps at her with more gut-checking misery. A long staredown between the two follows and Sydney tells coach Richardson she's "tired of this overrated cow!"

Round 6:
Nina seeks the final breaktrough but walks into a jabbing buzzsaw and both women accept the slugging plan to punish each other in the center of the ring. Crowd goes wild as something has to give and it's Nina's nostrils that spill red paint just before the one-minute mark! Uh-oh! The former champion spins to the side and takes a wild shot on the chin followed by another one-timer on the left temple. Oi, Nina! DOWN SHES GOES as Sydney twerks her impressive rack and walks back to her corner thinking it's all over. Nina is shocked and stirred checking for a jaw damage but there's only blood pouring from her nose and she wants to get on with her revenge when she gets up at seven. It's a close call but she's granted her wish only for Sweeney to blast her back to the ropes with a body assault on the double. Ugh! Nina's ribs take a pounding and she's shut down wholesale to the point she spits out her gumshield as the younger actress simply piles on with the beef. Nina goes all numb and screams out in pain unable to even clinch the blonde so the REF STEPS IN and saves whatever is left from the Canadian pride. It's all over!!! TKO6 Sydney Sweeney!!!

AFTER: The buxom blonde goes two-for-two against the Lioness members in 2022 and keeps twerking her rack for additional fan service while Nina is escorted back to coach Eva Mendes. Fight #99 was spoiled so let's hope there are no surprises like that in the all-important milestone performance next month! Post-fight X-rays came back negative so the official word is out that Nina will enter the FCBA ring for the 100th time on her birthday - January 9th - with fellow Canadian Alyssa Lynch being chosen as the special opponent!

Official Result: Sydney Sweeney def. Nina Dobrev TKO6.
