(Words: O & E / Results: Lookout!)

Before: Curvy club fighters stepping out onto the big stage, managers giving them a chance to put their best foot forward as these two have a back-and-forth rivalry going back to Amanda’s ending of Lyna’s five year Miss Spring Break’s tournament championship in 2018. The Florida club fighting scene is notoriously arcane in its record-keeping, but best estimates put their head-to-head record over those four years as split down the middle, with neither managing more than two wins in a row over each other.

Amanda in a black one-piece with a criss-cross fasteners across her cleavage, black gloves, hair loose but swept over her right shoulder to start. Lyna in a red monokini with a sling back, red gloves, hair loose down her back.

R1: Girls trading right hands, both holding the left low and just shoving stubby to jugs and chin. Amanda bumped backwards, Lyna’s heavier weight of shot prevailing, she scoots away to regroup. Midring circling, looking for angles, Trivizas showing her training by losing an initial engagement, but resetting the table with her feet. Amanda launching a series of squalling attacks off Lyna’s left shoulder, churning back-and-forth, then stepping to the side, keeping fight moving. Final minute, Trivizas lands some sumptuous right hands upside Lyna’s head, buffeting her sideways: Perez’s hands a little low, not much head movement as she faces into the blows.

R2: Lyna pancakes Amanda into her corner with a flying “who’s the big girl tonight?” tackle. Moment’s shoving and jostling, Perez comes up punching, laying her cheek in on Amanda’s shoulder and BLAZING away to belly&breasts both barrels. Trivizas on her heels, can’t get her weight forward, reaching around Perez’s shoulders and LYNA GOES RACK! Amanda exposed, Perez wriggling up in there with short, short leather, shoulders shrugging home the hurt as Amanda’s chest bunches up under bumping impact. Non-stop, bell to bell Lyna on Trivizas, stunned by rookie’s exuberant ferocity. Punching after the bell? You bet: Perez helping herself to extra as ref has to pull her away from the jug buffet.

R3: Pace slackens—but still furious in stop-and-go bursts. Lyna coming forward, hands up at her eyebrows—she’s trying to chop her jab, dip and bob side to side, get close and work off Amanda’s chest. Trivizas stepping to her right, left hand low, walking Perez into intercepting rights, twisting the mitt upon delivery, threading it between black gloves and grinding it cruelly against Lyna’s face. Whenever Perez does get close, it’s a spasm of violence, Lyna battering at Amanda’s ribs and skull, Trivizas slashing and lashing to beat back the attack

R4: Damage piling up, girls breaking down., Legs’re holding up as chins are checked, but backsides are wobbling as girls take turns hurting each other. Lyna’s attack basic, but bold—she’s walking Amanda down, jabbing to chest then crashing in over the top right hands, raking head and body hooks, really working her over along the ropes. Trivizas ribs pink with punishment, but she’s doing her own good work: slick up-jab off the hip and a slashing right cross doing wonders on Perez face and those gutting, succulent, rising lefts into rookie’s glorious chassis maybe the most vicious punches of the fight. Both girls mugging jug when available, nestling in there shoulder to shoulder and scrub-chugging away tightly—just pumping, kneading little blows, lips parted to exhale whimpering, hot breaths in each other’s facxes. Corners concerned as girls come back ramshackle, glassy-eyed—trainers employing vigorous bicep and thigh messages, dousing their fighters with water, icing down swelling—it’s mindless club-fighting fun as they go back to their roots in the 4th.

R5: Amanda wins the collision midring, Lyna takes a pasting as her flailing blows can’t quite find the mark: it’s Trivizas able to come forward, forcing Perez backside into waiting ropes. Swishing side to side lefts and rights swab jugs, Amanda slugging with bared teeth, Lyna can’t get off her heels. Trivizas sloshing away sloppy lefts and rights, but occasionally really clouting Perez hard upside the head, sending her prey wilting into the corner, Lyna takes a robust right hand on her forehead and immediately covers up behind her gloves. AMANDA UNLEASHES! Trivizas pouring her reserves into the fight--flooding tummy and trunks with punches, breaking Perez down. Lyna drooping forward growing loose in her stance, Amanda gassed, but smelling blood, keeps pumping hoisting lefts and rights and PEREZ GOES DOWN! Lyna stumbling to all fours, panting and blubbering, Amanda staggering away, arms numb: if Perez beats the count, Trivizas has NOTHING left. LYNA CAN’T GET OFF HER KNEES! 10 count passes her by and Amanda Trivizas is the KO5 winner in this last woman standing brawl!

After: Amanda shucks her gloves before running over to tackle a still-kneeling Lyna onto her back! Trivizas straddles her prey, then hikes up the back of her singlet to form an impromptu thong, before turning around and lowers her booty onto the face of Perez. Amanda asserting early dominance over her primary rival with a face sit, is this the beginning or the end of their rivalry?
