BEFORE:
Bella Thorne looks sublime on stage, popping pink bubble-gum and looking good in a loose white cut-off singlet, showing off her tummy and curvey body as she poses for the cameras. The Doll vows to take 2023 by storm, and so what if she recently lost the JMD straps to Jessica Lowndes? She has her eyes set on a far bigger prize…

"I'm looking forward to another Bantamweight title reign this year,” Bella says from the press table. “I am already the top contender so hopefully it shouldn't take TOO long for someone to give me the shot. Minka is being a big pussy right now...giving title shots to girls ranked in the 20s...but I'll get my shot sooner or later. As for Anya...I realized she's one of the few around the division I haven't fought yet...and I hear she's pretty good. You have to beat the top 20 to become champion and she's one of the few left for me...so tonight I'm here to beat her."

Strong words indeed from the Alpha Doll, and let’s see what Anya Chalotra has to say about that, the Emilia’s Empresses fighter recently having her four-fight winning streak stopped by Fates’ Elizabeth Olsen.

“I’ll admit that Thorne has been on my radar for a while. She’s ambitious, loud-mouthed, but she usually gets what she wants at the end of the day. Just… not today…” Anya says with a smirk. The British-Indian actress is seated casually at the press table, her hair coiled and bundled up in a loose bun, and her short black mini-skirt looking more like an evening gown than something you’d wear outdoors. “We’ll see who deserves the Bantamweight title shot by the end of the night, shall we?”

Girls square off at the podium, and at first glance, they’re very similar in terms of height and build. Bella of course comes into this fight with a wealth of experience and knowledge, not to mention already being a former, multi-time JMD and Bantamweight champion. Anya has an uphill climb, but she’s game to try, posing casually with her fists outstretched at the waist level, whilst Bella just smirks and blows another bubble back into her face.

Hours later, we’re in the ring proper, and ready for ten rounds of Bantamweight action. Bella’s decked out in a red bikini top and a black long tights, brandishing red gloves to her many male fans in the crowd, wearing her fiery red hair loose. In the opposite corner, Anya in a white sports bra and black long tights, black hair in a bun, wearing white gloves as she locks eyes with her opponent from across the ring, both girls looking ready to rumble and awaiting the start of this contest.

Referee signals for the opening bell, and HERE WE GO!

ROUND 1:
Title implications on the line, or at least, for the number one contender spot, as Bella immediately flies in with her fists, poised to strike. She slams them into Anya’s guard as soon as the first seconds fly by, using her superior reach and then packing power into that last cross that’s jammed into her body or face. Not a good look for Chalotra, taking this much damage, this early, as she struggles to keep up with the Doll’s wanton pace. Bella not even rushing inwards fully at this point, more staying at striking distance, seeing what Chalotra’s made of. The Empress girl does occasionally fire back with her own jabs to the forehead and chest, but then she’s quickly overwhelmed by Bella’s quantity as well as quality. Bell rings and it’s a one-sided opener for Miss Thorne, which bodes well for her prospects for the rest of this year…

ROUND 2:
And what’s this, Anya RUSHES in to brawl right back, throwing caution to the wind and stunning the Doll with an early flurry to her head! Which then ends with a glancing hook to the temple! Bella growls, not liking the feel of getting bullied back, immediately fires and swings at multiple angles, her fists landing on Chalotra’s frame as well. But Anya has fire in her eyes, targeting the Doll’s face and chin, specifically ramming another hook into the jaw to send Bella reeling off to the side! This is what Thorne asked for, and Anya’s happy to oblige! Bella’s back into defensive mode for the rest of the round, skirting and jabbing from the ropes, but Anya looks satisfied as well for now, having done enough damage to win her the round wide back!

ROUND 3:
Bella’s in fight mode, not letting that prior round set her back, now moving with even more speed and precision. She skirts left and right and hounds Chalotra with jabs galore, scoring to her face and body in the first minute. Chalotra does her best to close distance and wail away, using what she knows best to get the job done. But her hooks are flying overhead or missing by an inch, as Thorne's agility is put on good display. A hook or two snags Chalotra on the chin, but if Thorne was hoping those would be enough to stun and dazzle, she’s wrong. Anya with her nostrils flaring, last minute BULL-RUSH forward, forcing Bella to backtrack madly and get herself trapped against the ropes! Anya goes to town on the flighty Doll, ramming gloves into her waistline and trying to break her guard up top, but Bella’s quickly saved by the bell, and looks somewhat grateful as she stumbles back to her corner.

ROUND 4:
Thorne knew that Anya was a dangerous opponent, but not THIS dangerous. The Empress tries another charge in the opening minute, hoping to catch Bella by surprise again. Flurry of lefts and rights to her head, which Bella blocks and dodges, then tries to counter with a combo of her own. The redhead’s hitting her marks, stinging the nostrils and lips, but Chalotra just keeps on coming into her space, bashing lower hooks into her body, then squaring her hips and swinging battering rams to the head. Bella lets out another grunt of shock as a power hook lands on her forearm, just barely, throwing her off balance. She’s wondering how she’s gonna crack this tough nut, and meanwhile, Chalotra WALKS her down, banging away at every inch of her frame she can get her hands on. Bella barely makes it out of the round again, saved by the dinging of the bell, but looking worse for wear, holding herself upright on the top rope and breathing hard.

ROUND 5:
Bella better dig herself out of this rut, because Anya’s perfectly capable of burying her alive. The Empress mounts the pressure even further, taking everyone by surprise by just how much energy she has left in her tank. Bella can’t catch a break, much less her breath, as she’s faced down by a charging Chalotra in the opening seconds of the fifth, who hounds her guard with looping overhands to the center of the arms, a couple of straight crosses plugged into the belly to drive the air from her lungs. But Bella remains lucid, refusing to get caught in a corner or with her back to the ropes. Sure, she’s bleeding points all over, but at least she’s still standing! She slips to the side to avoid a big uppercut from the aggressive Anya, then manages to tag her back with a swinging hook to the face. Finally, she sees some results, Anya teetering slightly but still taking tiny steps towards her. Bell rings soon after, however, marking Bella’s continued slide downwards. Can she truly stop Anya’s advance in the second half of this fight, or will she get overrun?

ROUND 6:
Chalotra’s slowing down, thank the gods! Dollhouse corner breathing sighs of relief at the lack of action in the first minute of the sixth, both girls choosing to circle and jab from afar rather than rush in to brawl. Bella is equally grateful, though her mind is clearly on how to turn the tide now that her opponent has gotten her shot and fallen short of success. Tentative jabs bang away at Anya’s arms and body, slowly pushing her back one step at a time. Chalotra focused on protecting her head, leaving her tummy vulnerable to return fire. And return fire she gets, Bella seething and snarling as those punches crash in with a vengeance! Chalotra still chases the Doll off in the final seconds of the round, a messy hook sent flying towards her head, hoping to strike lucky. Bella finally wins herself a close round after taking that shellacking of the previous two, smiling gratefully on her way back to the corner.

ROUND 7:
It’s Bella’s show! The Dollhouse Alpha’s been biding her time, letting Anya flush herself out before striking back. Chalotra stays put for the first minute alone, blocking and trying to absorb the Doll’s slowly mounting offense! Bella moves in fast and hard, striking at the face and then digging more leather into the tummy below. Anya lunges back in the second, trying to clean her clock by a surprise KO, but her fists are quickly intercepted by Thorne's fluid guard, Bella then clocking her with a hook to the chin, another uppercut dug into the center of her body to send her stumbling backwards! Anya’s in trouble, gagging and trying to keep her knees from buckling! NO mercy from Thorne, who wails at her sides and then head, ragdolling her left and right before catching her clean on the chin with a right hook! AND DOWN CHALOTRA GOES, spinning on her heels before colliding with the canvas face-first and OUT! Referee rushes over to assess the situation and immediately declares the rest of this fight OVER! Chalotra’s laid out and twisted on the ground, her eyes shut and mouth hanging open!

Official Decision: Bella Thorne defeats Anya Chalotra via KO7!

AFTER:
Phew! A panting, tired Bella Thorne looking like someone stole her lunch as she shakes her head after the bell sounds, clearly disappointed with her performance despite knocking her opponent out cold in the 7th. The previous few rounds were all Anya and the former two time champion knows it. Thorne takes center stage and gets her arm raised as the EE team work on the recovering Chalotra.

“f*ck. I underestimated her and apparently she was f*cking ANGRY. Anya’s definitely better than I thought and I took some unnecessary damage but the good news was that she couldn’t knock me down. I knew I’ll turn things around eventually, and guess what? she ran out of steam…. She didn’t last long after that…as you can see.” Bella chuckles, gesturing towards the recovering Chalotra.

It’s Bella’s first win of 2023 after losing her JMD title at the end of 2022, and the Dollhouse team would love to see her keeping a new streak going and challenging for the title at some point in the near future.
As for Anya Chalotra, the young talent has shown plenty of promise tonight, dominating the fight against the former champion for several rounds before finally succumbing to Bella’s experience and skill. But if she continues to give similar performances this year, her future surely looks bright in this division.

When asked about a possible rematch in the future on her way out of the arena, Bella smiles. “Sure. I’ll fight her again if she wants it. But I’m not going to underestimate her next time, so you can imagine how that will go for her….”. Bella chuckles as her fans roar in response, accompanying the victorious Dollhouse star with “Be-lla – Be-lla” chants all the way backstage.
