Halston Sage vs. Ashley Benson

Halston:

Ashley:

(33, 5’4”, 25:38 FCBA, Pretty Little Punchers, Inc.)

BEFORE:

A rematch three years in the making and a lot has changed since the last time these two girls have met. Halston Sage, now managed as one of the original Queens, of the Queens of Absolution and Ashley who’s coming off several defeats in 2022. The last time these two met at the pre-fight presser, it ended with a tense peace. Today, today, is a new day.

Already in the ring, Halston Sage was wearing a light blue satin bra, matching trunks, matching boots, and matching gloves embroidered in gold with “QUEENS” on them. She had Madelaine Petsch leading in her corner. On the other side of the ring was Ashley Benson wearing a red bra, red trunks, matching boots and gloves, which had “PLP” embroidered in silver. Leading her corner was Lucy Hale.

Ashley hair in a ponytail; Halston’s loose and free flowing, the two girls may have traded eye contact but neither was intimidated by the other. The referee waved both girls over to give them the final instructions and to tap gloves - both of whom did although Sage did it with enough force to push Ashley’s arm back to her surprise. Halston was clearly harboring something of an ill will against Ashley even if she wasn’t showing it.

Both girls return to their corners, the bell sounds, and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

Round 01:

Halston, looking as beautiful as ever as she came out of her corner, guard up, staying mobile as Ashley Benson, the girl she lost to three years ago, came out throwing powerful jabs into Halston’s guard. This is not the same Sage from 2020 however as she blocks and deflects the jabs. Nevertheless, Ashley is racking up points on aggressiveness but Halston was biding her time. The stunning blonde sent two PISTONS into Ashley’s stomach. As the darker haired blonde doubled over, “a little pudgy, aren’t you” came taunting out of Sage’s mouth with a smirk.

That didn’t sit well with Ashley who recovered with a jarring uppercut to Halston’s chin that sent Sage stammering back. “You want to be a b*tch Halston? Remember last time!” she yelled. Benson, angered, delivered a punch to Halston’s sternum following up with several jabs to Sage’s guard before the bell closed the round.

With the ref not looking, Halston threw in a late CRUNCHING shot to Ashley’s ribs as she turned around causing her to yelp and the ref to turn around and scold the blonde woman who backed off as if she did nothing wrong.

Ashley still won the round close, on points.

Round 02:

Benzo frustrated with Sage and eager after the late shot, was glared at her slightly bigger slender opponent with dagger eyes that could kill. The bell sounded and Ashley was out aggressively As the two women meet near the center, Benzo goes for the midsection, particularly the ribs - a storm Halston was not weathering too well and trying to back away but getting dangerously close to the ropes.

Angered now herself, Sage caught one of the incoming pistons to her ribs, deflected and parried before returning fire with more CRUNCHING jabs into Benzo’s face which was starting to bruise from Sage’s relentlessness. Ashley, not wanting to be shut out, HAMMERED Halston’s breasts, CRUSHING the jugs as she hit them like she was playing a drum.

Sage wincing in pain, backed off Ashley quickly but not before Benzo got a shot into Halston’s gut that blew the air out of her as she backed up.

An intense round but Halston came out on top narrowly clinging ahead on points this round.

Round 03:

We’re now entering the third stanza end Benzo is coming in with a battered and bruised face while Halston enters with bruising ribs. It’s clear these women are in pain but now they want to make a point. Sage, going for an undecidedly Queens tactic in twisting her hips and throwing greater force than it looks like she could into a jab right into Ashley’s stomach misses and Benzo predicts Halston’s attack and follows up with a solid jab of her own sinking between the rib cage to stun the beautiful blonde before following up with a right and a left haymaker to Sage’s face - gashing open a wound, and finishing off with beating Sage’s jugs like drums again causing the poor blonde to scream in pain.

Trying to get her guard to defend her jugs, Halston finds it difficult under Benzo's relentless attack. However, Ashley, so focused on delivering as many jabs as possible, didn’t notice when one of Halston’s legs moved back and through the pain shot another infamous Queens tactic of a tailspinning haymaker right into Ashley’s chin - abruptly ending the Benzo storm as the darker blonde found herself facing away from Sage.

Unfortunately, before being able to capitalize, the intense and definitely body endurance testing round went to Ashley wide on points for her work early on.

Round 04:

Bandaged and iced up, both girls head into the fourth with intentions of taking down each other but it doesn’t look like this fight is going to end anytime soon. Ashley out a little slower than Halston concerning some PLP fans while Queens fans could see Sage setting Benzo up for a thrashing with infamous Queens boxing moves. Benzo, not realizing she was about to be snatched by Halston, throws a jab towards Sage’s jug which was caught to the shock of Ashley.

With simple leg work, feet placement, and hip twisting, Halston sent wave after wave of piston jabs into Ashley’s stomach until she was almost coughing before Sage went upstairs and delivered several haymakers to Benzo’s face.- not letting her tailspin but just collide with another fist.

Certainly this has to be it for Benzo, right? No, the girl resurges and gets out of the line of fire just to nail Sage in the midriff. Halston responded with an uppercut to the solar plexus and dug her fist in for a little extra pain.

After another intense round testing body endurance, the round went to Halston wide on points for her work throughout the round.

Round 05:

Now at the halfway point, both blondes have clearly endured as they come out for the fifth round of the match. Both girls glistening in sweat, they once more go at it with each other. An intense battle of wills followed as both girls pounded each other’s tummies getting so fierce at points that their bodies were pressing up against each other. Benzo however was hitting Sage a lot harder, as sweat was thrown off each other’s skin and onto the other girl.

By the time the war was over, Ashley had come out winning the round on points for far more aggressiveness against the hurt Sage.

Round 06:

No one expected this to go into the sixth with how hard these girls were throwing down in the boxing ring but the blondes may have been in a lot of pain but more than willing to keep going after each other as the bell rang to start the round. This time, Halston was the aggressor as she SLAMMED a haymaker right into Benzo’s left temple almost immediately out of the gate taking Ashley by surprise before following up with several tummy uppercuts that pushed her to the ropes. ASHLEY IN TROUBLE. Benzo looking for a means of escape as Halston unleashes piston after piston into the other blonde’s torso.

Eventually, Ashley just had to go for it or face a technical knockout and she waited for an opening to return the favor to Sage with a haymaker to her left temple. The shocked and stunned Halston took a few steps back with fire in her eyes. But Ashley didn’t let Sage get out any of that pent up frustration as she hit the beautiful blonde with a center jab to the nose causing a stream of warm red blood to come out followed by a jab dangerously below the belly button as the round came to an end.

Another grueling round but Sage took it wide by points for controlling almost the entirety of the round.

Round 07:

The audience was certainly getting their money worth as we entered the seventh stanza. Patched up by their respective corners, Lucy and Madelaine gave the same exact advice: “finish her this round or she’ll finish you.” Sound of the bell and both girls were up and at it again.

In the first minute, Benzo tried to be aggressive but kept getting parried by the infamous Queens defense but by the second minute, the roles had changed and Halston was the aggressor. Sage throwing RUTHLESS jab after ruthless jab digging into Ashley’s stomach, it would be hard to not be queasy as the light blue dressed blonde way laying down what looked like a massacre in the second minute. Finding an opening, Sage swung an uppercut from an almost kneeled position hitting Benzo full force in the chin hard enough to put her on her toes right there.

Ashley immediately collapsed down Halston’s body and laid on the canvas battered and bruised with little movement as she tried to fight her way up. Sage moved to a neutral corner and the ref began the long count to ten. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5… Ashley was barely moving; 6, 7, 8… Benzo started struggling to will her body onto all fours, 9, 10… and Ashley is out!

Official Decision: Winner by KO7, Halston Sage!

AFTER:

Sage wasn’t out for humiliation although when she dug her left knee into Ashley’s back and pulled her dark blonde hair up to force her head up, it probably looked that way in all the press photographs of the after-fight. “Don’t worry Ashley, this isn’t over - we still have a score to settle,” could be heard coming out of Halston’s mouth likely referencing that they are 1 and 1 now. Sage let go of the darker blonde hair and stood up, waving her hands in victory before stepping out of the ring and meeting with Before the Bell: Inside Edition host Mark Lopez.

“I feel great about that match and I think I sent a message to Ashley and the PLP girls that I’m no longer someone to mess around with. Benzo may be my personal jobber girl now,” Sage said to add insult to injury.
