BEFORE:

Natasha Calis and Daisy Ridley already dressed for their match in an unusual turn of events as Calis wears a black bikini bra and panties accompanied with black boxing gloves embroidered with “QUEENS” in gold and black boots while Ridley was wearing her signature dark, midnight blue sports bra and trunks, boots, and gloves. Girls with identical hair color but two separate hair styles: Natasha opting for loose and framed while Ridley opted for a ponytail.

Calis was joined by Tiera Skovbye who was wearing a blue floral print long sleeved dress that hugged her body - her blonde hair as loose and framing as Calis’ as it was her debut match.

Natasha and Daisy squaring off at the podium in the pre-fight segment with roughly the same stature: Natasha just an inch taller; both with taut toned tummies and close to the same weight - Natasha standing a little too close to Daisy to try and provoke her. The girls have to be separated and escorted to their seats for the pre-fight presser.

“The Queens reputation has made it to the other side of the Atlantic but these girls are full of themselves and I intend to prove that today. I mean, this Canadian thinks she’s one of the end all be alls and she’s not - she’s just some actress that’s finally blossoming into television most of which is Canadian except for Paramount Plus’ Sky + Med. I was the lead in a Star Wars trilogy,” Daisy stated.

“A trilogy yet forgotten,” Calis snapped back. “But I’m glad our reputation has made it across the Atlantic so everyone will know who put you spread out inside the ring,” Calis continued.

“You won’t be saying that when you’re fast asleep in the ring,” Daisy replied.

“Wait, didn’t Lily Collins use your abs as a punching bag last month. I might try that,” Natasha teased to Tiera smacking Calis’ arm.

Both girls had to remain separated as the presser came to an end and they each went their separate ways in preparation for the the fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Fight night live and both girls are already in the ring. The referee signals for the bell and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of bantamweight action!

Round 01:

Natasha comes out of the gate faster than Daisy could and wasn’t joking when she said she would use Ridley’s abs as a punching bag. The brunette Canadian sent jab after jab into Ridley’s abdominal muscles although she was looking to target Daisy’s chin as the slightly taller girl imposed her will on the slightly shorter English brunette. Skirting dangerously close to the ropes, Natasha was too focused on the offensive to see Ridley swing in several jabs to her face that forced the Canadian to back off.

Ridley now returning the favor as she drives Natasha towards the center of the ring with jabs to the midsection, the Canadian was finding out she wasn’t the only one who could punch with force as she winced in pain. At the center of the ring, Natasha deflected a shot meant for her abs, leaving Ridley wide open and delivered a two jab combination: one to Ridley’s solar plexus taking her breath away and one to her chin - snapping her head back and stunning Daisy.

The final minute found Ridley trying to impose her will on Calis but unable to do so as the Canadian responded with each attempt with harder and harder jabs up and down the body. Daisy, growing frustrated, tried to take a shot at Natasha’s nose which the Canadian caught before turning around and sending a haymaker into Ridley’s left temple, tailspinning the English girl who managed to stay on her feet as the bell ended the round.

Natasha Calis wins the round on points, close.

Round 02:

With not too much damage inflicted by either girl in the first, we enter the second stanza. Daisy Ridley out early meeting Natasha Calis at the center of the ring. Canadian versus Brit in what started as a brawling match to the face, ribs, and abs, the two girls would not back down. Both girls looking for openings but neither finding any in the rapid fire brawling at the center - both girls standing their ground. Calis goes high, leaving her downstairs open, and Ridley takes advantage by SLAMMING two punches in Natasha’s solar plexus bending the poor girl over. Daisy goes for the stunned Calis, returning the favor with a jab to the face as the stanza came to a close.

Judges deliberate and give the round to Daisy close on points.

Round 03:

Both girls bruised as we enter the third stanza but neither in too much pain just emphasizing the strength of both girls’ body, both carefully circle the ring not rushing at each other. It seems both girls are adapting to the other’s strategy. The Queens girl makes the first move with a jab right at the Knockout Babes’ girl face scoring several direct hits to bruise the cheek. Daisy, not wanting to take Natasha’s punishment, went downstairs once more focusing on her breadbasket - racking up the points. “You aren’t Lily in this scenario,” Daisy taunted at the Canadian. Natasha, of course getting her pride knocked down a notch, returned the favor to Daisy with several PLUNGING fists into Ridley’s abs but Daisy feints and sends a jab into Natasha’s chin.

The Canadian was once more stunned but so was the Brit that neither took advantage of the final 20 seconds and the round came to an end.

This time, the judges very easily give it to Daisy Ridley, wide - having racked up points earlier on.

Round 04:

Natasha more bruised than Daisy that she got a little ice touch up before the fourth stanza, both girls were up and ready by the time the bell rang. This time, Ridley was far more confident against her Canadian opponent. With both girls coming out of the gate, Daisy was jumping around, using agility to outwit her Canadian counterpart. Even as agile as Daisy was, after a few jabs from the Brit, Natasha SLAMMED a haymaker into Ridley’s left temple giving her a gash and tailspinning her. Daisy, sturdy enough, used the momentum to take Calis by surprise with an uppercut to the chin with the full force of her spin.

The force knocked Natasha on to the cavas, dazed and shocked as she looked up at the lights resting on her elbows. Daisy quickly made her way to a neutral corner and the ref started the count. 1, 2, 3… Natasha still dazed and shocked. 4, 5… Calis begins standing up; 6, 7… Natasha is fully up.

Ridley waved back in, but Natasha played a highly defensive game to the end of the round.

Daisy wins the round wide.

Round 05:

Tiera hopped up on the side ropes of the ring while the Queens corner worked on Natasha’s bruises with ice. “You need to put her away before she puts you away, Natasha.” Calis responded, “I know, I wasn’t expecting what she did last round.” “You’re better built,” Tiera complimented, “you got this.” She jumped off the ropes as the round was getting ready to start.

As the round start, Daisy looking to put away Natasha with a repeat of last round, Calis looking to redeem her knockdown. Ridley closes the gap, and starts working away on Natasha’s body leaving herself open upstairs. Rather than protecting her core, Calis parried and delivered a CRUSHING uppercut into Ridley’s chin, gashing it more and causing blood to drip before she threw a jab into Ridley’s nose sending warm red liquid out of both nostrils.

Natasha got another hit into Daisy’s abs that lift the one inch shorter girl to her toes as the round came to an end.

Calis wins the round close.

Round 06:

Now more than halfway through the match, Ridley was quickly worked on to stop the bleeding Natasha caused before the round. The stanza came to a start. Both girls up and out, smelling blood in the water. Both the Canadian and the Brit brunettes are aggressive as they close in at the center of the ring and open up with jabs at each other bodies. The first minute was a minor brawl of jabs. As minute two was entered, Daisy through a HARD punch towards Natasha who deflected the punch and returned the favor with a BRUTAL uppercut to Ridley’s chin that lifted the slightly shorter girl off the ground.

The Canadian showing her angry side, continued to beatdown Ridley with straight DEEP jabs into the Brits solar plexus before finishing with a haymaker to the cheek of Daisy as she collapsed onto her side to the canvas.

Natasha quickly moved to a neutral corner and the ref began the count. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6… Ridley dazed tries as hard as she can to get her body to respond; 7, 8… Daisy is still struggling, 9, 10… Daisy is out!

Official Decision: Winner by KO6, Natasha Calis!

AFTER:

Natasha, jubilant for winning her debut match, raised both her arms in victory as she spun around the ring to a cheering crowd. After her victory spin, she went to Daisy who was still struggling and gave her a light kick to the stomach as she bent at her waist. “Looks like I was Lily Collins in this case; huh, maybe I should start my own crusade,” Calis teased.

As the celebration continues, Tiera hopped under the ropes and into the ring to embrace her Canadian friend albeit she didn’t take into account that sweat was going to get on her dress. The way they were positioned made an excellent photograph for the press on the defeat of Ridley and the rise of these two Canadians while the last words heard from the ring were from Tiera saying “told you, you had this.”

Zooey Deschanel later commented to the press “in preparation for our high-tension stable war between CWF, this is another victory that teaches us a lot about what our fighters are capable of. Most girls would have been out after Daisy scored the first knockdown but Natasha is not most girls.”
