Intro:
A top level bantamweight bout that has been in the making since 2019. That was the year that Priyanka "Big Choppy" Chopra and Kaya Scodelario first met in a boxing ring. On that night Kaya overcame Priyanka in a back and forth battle. Beating the former Miss India by knockout in the ninety round. To start off 2023, both have decided to have another crack at each other.

This time around Priyanka is in great form after winning the Princess of the Ice Hotel tournament. She looks on the verge of getting herself firmly back into title contention for the bantamweight title.

That's why she looks confident as she strides into the arena with her white long coat and heels, carrying her white gym bag full of her gear. The FCBA Network interviewer Alicia Atout asking for a word to the cameras. Priyanka grins as she stops, telling Alicia "I can spare you a moment but really I need to get ready to show up Kaya."

Priyanka then tells Alicia "look I am on the best form of my life, with a few scores to settle. Kaya has hid from me for all these years. Now that she knows she has to go through me for a possible shot. Suddenly she remembers who I am. She'll be having nightmares for the next month after tonight." Walking away with a strut as she heads to her locker room.

While Kaya doesn't look too interested to talk to Alicia as she wears a black coat and black dress pants with matching heels. She hasn't fought since a loss to Lili Reinhart for the FCBA bantamweight title in August. There's been plenty of rumours why only now she is stepping back into the ring.

When asked again for a word after she walks past Alicia. Kaya stares angrily at her. Telling Alicia "look you annoying pain in the arse. I am trying to get to my locker room. I am not interested in talking about Priyanka. I already kicked her arse once before. If the old bag wants another beating, that's her late Christmas gift from me." Stomping off as Alicia nods sheepishly.

Fighting time with Priyanka out first with her coach following. She is wearing a light blue robe as she walks to the ring. Getting it taken off before she steps inside the ring to reveal a light blue sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, hair tied into a braid as she poses for her fans with her arms in the air while being cheered and applauded.

Now here comes Kaya with an interesting sight. Hilary Swank is back working her corner as Kaya and her were at logger heads last time they were together. She steps into the ring wearing a red sports bra, red trunks with black stripes down the sides, matching shoes, black gloves and her hair tied into a ponytail. She bounces on her toes as she looks at her opponent with a hard stare.

The fighters are brought to the center of the ring. They lock eyes as the referee stays between them. When the instructions are finished, both tap their gloves quickly with their opponent. More keen to jog back to their corners then show any real respect to each other. The referee signals for the bell to ring to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Both fighters step out stabbing jabs in the opening moments. Priyanka showing her aggressive side to land a jab then step inside with a short right to the body. Trying to close the distance with Kaya shoving her off. The English fighter needing to open up more to try to keep her opponent off her.

A feint from Chopra allows her to dip under a jab. She goes to work with a straight under the chin of Kaya to lift her on her toes. Then muscles her onto the ropes. Slamming away into the body of Kaya as she shows why she is one of the most fearsome body punchers in any weight division. Kaya trying to fight back but is being outworked by the Indian woman.

Needing to pull Priyanka into a clinch. Kaya already landing a rabbit punches behind the head of Priyanka. Referee splits them up warning both to keep things clean. They exchange punches around the others cheeks when they resume. Kaya boxing more off the back foot as she looks a little apprehensive of her opponent. At the bell Priyanka has swagger in her walk as she heads back to her corner.

Round 2:
Resuming with Kaya starting to fire out two punch combos. She steps back when Priyanka tries to close the distance between them. Kaya catching her foe with punches around her chest when Chopra starts to crouch down more. Showing her skills off as Priyanka nods to her while trying to work out what angle to attack from.

Priyanka soon stabs in a jab to the lips of Kaya. Landing a short right across the face of her opponent. Kaya finding herself back onto the ropes. With Priyanka again looking to chop her body out with hooks. Kaya pushing her off and slams in a double jab square into the nose of Priyanka to stop her in her tracks.

They trade around the middle of the ring. With Priyanka getting caught several times by short lefts to her cheek when she looks to move in closer. Kaya holding her ground better up until the rounds comes to a close. Priyanka doesn't look too bothered as she returns to her stool.

Round 3:
It's a bit of a feeling out process to start the third. Kaya looking to hold off the charges of Priyanka. Who deflects a jab to land one of her own square into the lips of Kaya. A right hook then follows to turn the head of Scodelario to the delight of her corner. The English fighter worked back into a neutral corner as her body is being mauled by the woman nicknamed "Big Choppy!"

Holding onto Priyanka. Kaya is warned not to rabbit punch again. The fighters are broken up with Priyanka looking to force the issue right away. Both exchanging as Kaya gives up ground. Slinging in jabs to try to hold off Priyanka. She eats a left hook around her guard as Priyanka moves her head out the way of a jab.

Maybe some ring rust showing on Kaya as she is muscled backwards into her own corner. Whacking away at the body of Kaya. Priyanka looks to have the bit between her teeth as she works. The bell soon rings with Kaya giving Priyanka a shove to her chest to get her away. Priyanka just smiles at her as Kaya bites her gumshield not to swear. Hilary trying to get her message across to Kaya but it looks to be falling on deaf ears. Clearly the issues between them having disappeared.

Round 4:
Stepping back out her corner. Kaya starts to look to slug it out with Priyanka on her terms. Not the best tactic it seems as Priyanka gets back to sending hooks into the ribs of her foe. Kaya uses her left forearm to shove back Priyanka to her chest. A right hook comes through with a swing of her hips to catch Priyanka on her chin to turn her head around.

Kaya uses the opening to land a double jab/straight combo to the face of Priyanka. Who doesn't look so comfortable having to fight around the outside part of the ring. Kaya switching her targets to try to keep Priyanka off guard. With Priyanka landing some stiff single punches but not doing enough to ward off her younger opponent.

Late in the round. Kaya gets caught with a short left hook as she now sticks to the body a little too long. Priyanka steps in with another left hook up top to turn the head of Kaya. Both going toe to toe in close up until the bell rings to finish the round. Both walk back to their corners with eyes locked across the ring as plenty of pride here for the other to take.

Round 5:
Tempers are starting to show themselves more as they exchange. Kaya stepping in with a jab on the nose of Priyanka. Following with a left cross as Priyanka gives up ground. Pushing at the chest of Kaya to try to keep her off. A RIGHT HOOK CATCHES HER ON HER CHIN TO SEND PRIYANKA ONTO BACKSIDE!

Kaya marching over to the neutral corner with a hard expression. 1...2...3.. While Priyanka gives herself a slap across her cheek with her right glove to waken herself up. 4...5...6... Pushing up to her right knee, left foot planted on the canvas. 7...8.. Standing upright. Priyanka raising her fists to show she can fight on.

Back at it they go with Kaya looking to end things. Priyanka landing several hard jabs back into the face of Kaya. With both fighters exchanging around the ring. Priyanka dips under a straight to land a short right into the body of Kaya. Followed by an overhand left to the ear of her opponent. The round comes to an end with Chopra showing that while she was down, she still has fight in her. Kaya sitting on her stool tapping her toes as she stares across the ring at her foe.

Round 6:
Back out they come with Kaya looking to get back at Priyanka. Who looks calm as she stabs in her jab. Ducking under a straight and uppercut lands on Kaya's chin to knock her head back. Priyanka turning the tables on her as she presses back Kaya towards a neutral corner. Kaya shelling up as hooks pound into her ribs. Kaya clinching up with Priyanka to slow her down. Broken up by the referee with both scowling at each other.

Resuming with Priyanka now finding her way on the front foot. Stabbing in a straight to the nose of Kaya. Muscling her again back into a neutral corner. A HARD RIGHT HOOK LIFTS THE RIBS OF KAYA UP! SHE HOWLS OUT AS SHE FALLS DOWN TO HER KNEES! PUTTING HER LEFT HAND UP DEFENSIVE!

Priyanka raising her arms in the air as she heads over to the neutral corner. 1...2....3....4.. Kaya holds her left side with her right glove. Cheeks red as she breaths harder. 5...6...7.. wincing as she takes a breath. 8...9...10 Priyanka has stopped Kaya!

That's a big win for Priyanka as she gets revenge on Kaya. Marching over to Kaya. Rubbing her sweaty abs into the face of the beaten woman as she raises her arms into the air. Staring down angrily at Kaya as she snarls "this is what training achieves. Maybe hit the gym." Then heads off to her corner to be met with an embrace by her coach.

Kaya punches the canvas with her left glove in frustration. Fighting off tears as she spits out her gumshield. Over comes Hilary but Kaya tells her to leave her alone. Taking her gloves off under her arm pits. Wincing when she removes her right glove under the left arm pit. She grabs the ice pack in Hilary's hand to put on her left side.

Hilary just shakes her head. Telling Kaya "fine. F**king sit there a loser and not take anyone's help" waving off Kaya as she heads out the ring. Kaya staring daggers at her. Mouthing "bytch" as she sticks two fingers up at Hilary. Clearly whatever the Girls Friday stable thought they had done to fix that relationship didn't work.

With Kaya leaving the ring with a little help from the referee. Leaving her gloves in the ring as she stares at the ground. Shaking her head in disbelief at what has happened tonight. What needs to happen to fix Kaya's career?

In the ring meanwhile Priyanka laughs after being cleaned up and her own gloves taken off. Grabbing the gloves of Kaya as she raises them in the air when the referee lifts up her left arm. Priyanka taking a trophy from this fight as she gives her coach Kaya's gloves to hold onto them for her.

Priyanka does a lap around the ring. Blowing kisses to her supporters as the confidence is clear to see in her, she has an aura around her now. Making pundits wonder if she could be gearing up to take the bantamweight title in future. It is hard to argue against her chances after winning the Princess of the Ice Hotel tournament to finish last year and beating Kaya to start 2023.
