Classic “Who ya like?” matchup between two lanky beauties. Most recent Boxing World Online rankings have Lima at 9 and Palicki at 18 BUT way back in 2013, Palicki hung a KO9 on Lima. Fans of Lima point to her far better win loss record overall AND the fact that she has strung together back to back to back winning years whereas Palicki looks to maybe be on the down side of her career? Palciki backers point to the multiple championships and grueling schedule. So who’s better? Well there’s only one sure way to find out!

Round 1: Feeling out process as brunette and blonde circle cautiously - Lima in classic stance while Palicki is dangling left to hip with right hand cocked. Both women jabbing and circling. Fighters are fresh and sharp so most of the jabs are picked off with gloves or slipped - Lima getting through here and there. Palciki feints with right hand and Lima dances back out of range. Slow first - nod goes to the Brazilian off for landing more with the jab.

Rounds 2-3: Lima satisfied with status quo - battle of the jabs at range takes the Chin Checker’s power out of the equation for now until she is methodically worn down over rounds. Mid way through the first minute, Palicki starts launching disruptive charges, breaking Lima’s rhythm, getting inside, pounding left hook to the body and bringing right hand to the sternum. Lima looking to clinch but the American physically stronger and able to wrestle hands free and pound inside, corner screaming for clean breaks! Adrianna looking a little pale from the body work, using lashing left hook to the temple to try to keep Palicki off of her but American with her chin tucked and willing to pay the toll to get inside. Buggy whip left hook pounding Brazilian flank and right hand hard to chest. Lima looking shopworn and shabby from constant pounding body work! Able to score back with slapping rights and lefts to Adrianne’s head but she’s never set and its robbing her power. Palicki sweeps the second and third rounds.

Rounds 4-5: Lima, in danger of being run out if the ring, fighting with resolve! Corner barking at her to impose her will - she is now up on toes for first time and boxing crisply - jabbing Palicki and dropping the occasional one-two. Palicki looking to bum rush the Brazilian but swift feet and slick heel turns frustrating the blonde. Frustration leads to ill advised charges - which Lima is able to stop dead with a straight right hand! In the middle of the fifth, Palicki sees an opening, throws big left hook, Lima snakes long neck back and comes slinging back with straight right hand … and BLONDE GIRL DOWN! Straight shot on the chin checks the Chin Checker and sits her on her butt in the middle of the ring. Palicki up at “5”, shaking head to clear cobwebs, takes mandatory eight count … and here comes Adrianna! Hounding blonde to ropes - back to cables and on unsteady legs - Palicki in earmuff and takes a frightful beating for last minute of the fifth round. At bell, Lima cheating up - haughty as only a Brazilian model can be! That fifth was a 10-8 round!

Rounds 6-7: Lima feeling good about herself - stunned to get a tongue lashing from her corner. “You had her! You HAD her! You should have finished her then and there! Now go out there, put her to sleep, and lets pop the champagne!”. Lima out of her corner, haughty, proud and ready to finish! Palicki still looking a little shopworn. Lima stepping to, setting up with that crip model jab and then mixing in the occasional straight right - Palicki had being snapped back. She can’t hold canvas - being forced back. Hounded by Brazilian, trying to avoid ropes and especially corners … late in the round, blonde abruptly stops retreat, digs toes into canvas and fires back with the straight right hand that earned her that famous nickname and Lima is ROCKED! Walking in fenceposts … staggering away from Adrianne … seconds ticking by and Palicki reckless in pursuit - takes a jab flush but does not have the mustard on it and the blonde digs a hard hook to the Brazilian liver at the bell. Frantic corner, icing Lima’s neck, massaging back - Sceej corner has Scrubby whispering into fighter’s ear, “Ya know what ta do, Addie goil - let’s go home!”. Palicki out of corner with snarl on her lips - the “big Girl Scout” is pissed off at the haughty treatment so far. Stalking Lima, right hand cocked. Brunette trying to play it leggy and work perimeter but legs not quite there … occasional stumbles … Palicki patient … stalking … feints left and fires over hand right …

Ringside, Grand Wizard announces “That’s it! That was the diamond cutter - this one’s over!”. Prediction made it seems before Lima hits the floor. The model pitches forward face first … no count … she is out and ref rolls her onto back to get mouthpiece out as he waives it off. Winner by knockout in the sixth … the Chin Checker … Adrianne Palicki!

Post fight: Palciki to corner to check on Lima, still on stool and being brought around. Pats her on cheek and wishes her well. Jenny McCarthy ringside grumbling, “What’s all this? You should have walked that skank!”
