Before:
Fates and VIXENs continue their rivalry tonight as future hall of famers Elizabeth Olsen and Alyssa Lynch continue their rivalry. Olsen is up 2-1 against the younger girl and is approaching her 100th conventional fight while Lynch is not far behind her and is still chasing down her first title. A victory of Elizabeth would catapult Alyssa into the number one contender’s spot. The two girls meet at the press conference and despite the bitter fights between the two stables the two women embrace and keep the press conference classy.
“Alyssa will be a champion one day, that is guaranteed.” Elizabeth says to compliment her opponent. “It just won’t be the next fight after tonight. I see my 100th fight and I want to go in with momentum.”
Lynch compliments her foe back. “Lizzie is a great fighter and will be in the hall of fame but I still have my own goals and that means winning the title no matter who stands in my way.”
Olsen is the first girl to make her way to the ring for the fight and the Fates girl wears a grey sports bra and matching trunks with white gloves. Lynch stepped out seconds later wearing an orange top with black bottoms and matching gloves. The two girls tapped their gloves and the bell rings for 10 rounds of bantamweight action.
Round 1:
The two brunettes exit their corners and Lynch uses her reach early to jab at the smaller Olsen. Lizzie keeps her gloves up and blocks the blows but the pressure from the younger girl is too much to find a counter. Alyssa keeps up the blows and works Lizzie back into the ropes before finding her body. Olsen quick on the clinch and the reef steps in. Elizabeth feints left and sticks Alyssa with a right beneath her eye and the Fates girl gets the advantage. Lynch covers her head to protect the follow up but Olsen tags ribs and works the younger girl backward. Lynch now with the clinch to force the break and the two girls start circling. Alyssa again back to her jabs but Elizabeth blocks and finds counters. The bell rings after a tactical first round and the two brunettes return to their corners.
Round 2:
Lynch told to use her reach between rounds and it shows as she tags Olsen in her mouth with a jab to start the second. Alyssa keeps her distance and Elizabeth at arms’ length and the Fates girl can’t punch the younger girl! The Vixen keeps Lizzie busy with jabs and the Fates girl finds herself in the ropes. Lynch with a short right into Olsen’s body and the former champion finds her chance to clinch. The ref pulls the two girls apart and they start circling. Lynch with a jab with her right but Olsen expecting it and the older girl dodges to her left and sticks the younger girl with a right for her first blow this round. Lizzie quick to close distance and follow up into her foe’s ribs as Alyssa protects her head. The two girls get tangled as Lynch starts to fight back and the round ends with the two girls close together.
Round 3:
Lynch again goes to her jab to start the round and she lands a right into Olsen’s gloves. Lizzie shifts to her right and connects with a hook that catches Alyssa in her jaw and the younger girl is on her heels. Elizabeth with a left to Alyssa’s ribs and the VIX girl winces as the Fates girl works in close. Olsen rhythmically hitting Lynch from close range as the model covers up. The actress connects with a big right into Lynch’s midriff and Alyssa nearly goes down but she clinches with Olsen to stay up. The ref separates the two girls and Olsen bobs left and shoots out a strike that only connects with air. Alyssa moves her head out of the way and rocks Elizabeth with a right that snaps back her head. Olsen stunned and Lynch doubles up the former champion with a left but the bell rings! Lynch with the momentum after being on her heels and Olsen’s gasping as she returns to her corner.
Round 4:
Alyssa exits her corner with a look of determination and goes back to driving jabs at Elizabeth from range. Olsen covering up but Lynch keeps on coming and buries leather into her midriff. Lizzie groans out and Alyssa splits her gloves while the older girl is hurting from the body blow. Olsen knocked back and her arms flare out to balance herself but she leaves herself exposed. Lynch drives a straight left into Olsen’s face to stun her and she drops her with a right hook. Lizzie hits the canvas on her back and Alyssa stares down at her. The Fates corner screams at their fighter to get up and she rolls herself onto her stomach. Olsen pushes herself to all fours and then to two feet to beat the count. The ref gives the mandatory and waves in Alyssa. Lynch with a right but her head snaps back as she gets too close to Olsen and the older girl gets a right lick in. Elizabeth on the offensive as she drives another blow into Alyssa’s face before connecting with a chin shot that leaves the VIX wobbly at the bell! Olsen got knocked down but shows fight as the fight heads into the fifth.
Round 5:
Elizabeth now the girl with the momentum and the older girl scores a left to start the fifth. Alyssa responds with a right to Elizabeth’s ribs but the actress is already moving and she sticks the model with another left and the VIX girl is staggering backward. Olsen moving forward and she drives a short left into Lynch’s ribs before driving a right into her chin and Lynch’s legs buckle and down goes the younger girl. The ref starts the count but Alyssa has somehow already made it back to all fours by the count of four! The VIX takes her time to get up for the rest of the count but she beats it and the ref waves the Fates girl back in. Olsen feints left and Lynch shoots out a right that thumps the older girl’s chest but she takes a blow to her nose in return and Olsen drives her into the ropes. Lizzie working lefts and rights and Alyssa’s gloves start to droop. Olsen with three straight blows to her foe’s head and the ref steps in! Your winner by TKO5, Elizabeth Olsen!
After:
Olsen with her first win of the year after losing her first two fights and the brunette is visibly relieved. Elizabeth now counting down the final fights until she can be eligible for the hall of fame while the Vixen girl is not far behind her with over 70 fights. Lynch is helped to a stool while Olsen recovers in her corner. The Fates girl waves to the crowd before checking in on the beaten model, embracing her before leaving the ring.
“Alyssa will be a champion one day” Olsen declares. “She fought me good tonight, but I was not going to let it be three straight losses to start the year.”
Lynch talks to the press later. “I wish I could even the series but Elizabeth is going to be a hall of fame fighter for a reason. I’ll get another fight with her though and come out on top.” |
