Before: Tay-Tay’s last two challengers for Mistress of the Body Saddle square off, looking to climb back into contention after falling short in one of the FCBA’s most grueling endurance contests. Similar quick-mitted battlers has us looking for a high-volume crowd-pleaser tonight. “This is a charity bout! Nobody’s wanted to see her in the ring since Taylor rode her, and they don’t care about her now! I hope the Odd Man has another girl ready, because this one won’t last long!”

IBB just had its second anniversary last month, and it hasn’t taken long for them to cement themselves as one of O&E’s rivals, every bit as bitter as the legendary back-and-forths with Lookout and VIXENS, no matter who the individual fighters are, there’s an extra dose of bile when these two stables meet up. “It’s been frustrating waiting for a card that would take me. But that just means Val has to worry about what I’ve got stored up!”

R1: Kelsey gloves up at temples, bending at the waist, moving her head low and trying to rotate up out of the crouch with hooks., Valentina loose-limbed, right hand at her chest, left across her stomach--she's wading in, twisting into clouting side to side power shots, disdaining a jab in an effort to get Merritt in trouble early. Thick two-way punching, but Kelsey getting the better of it. Merritt riding back nice with Fradegrada right hand, taking the edge off, then jamming back a stubby right to the chest, and a clanging left hook off the jaw, Val butt in the ropes late, not answering back as Kelsey plugs gut with shoving leather to the bell.

R2: Girls falling in with fast hands, Kelsey still setting up her hook with rolling upper body movement, getting firm clips on Valentina's jaw. Fradegrada bringing in lefts and rights wide, but finishing up close on Merritt, landing drifting blows herself on occasion in slinging trade, Even till late--girls turn into simultaneous walloping hooks and Kelsey goes wobbly-butt. She totters back on her heels, minces forward a few steps--she's hurt and Val wades in. Fradegrada with a slinging, walking barrage, clouting lefts and rights clobbers Merritt to the ropes, she’s shipping groggy at the bell.

R3: Kelsey jabbing chesty, stepping perky to the right, leaning in with her peek-a-boo guard to draw right hands, slipping them, answering with crisp hooks. Valentina swinging hard but having trouble labelling the unusually elusive Merritt. Down the stretch, Kelsey walking in, swinging away left/right to the gut when Val finally catches her juicy on the chin. Merritt wobbly butt, staggering back on her heels again--she's suddenly destitute as Fradegrada comes for her hungry. Valentina wading in hands at her chest and waist level--she's just stepping and lashing, swivelling Kelsey’s head side to side as she totters backwards in stupor. Italian steals Filipina round with late power.

R4: Kelsey with her dukes up at her eyebrows, jutting out stubby jabs as she scoots forward, bending in to pull the right hand over top, bending right to club the left hook--she's backing Valentina to the ropes and simply outworking her girl in the trenches. Fradegrada composed against the strands, gloves at her cheeks, bent forward at the waist--she's bobbing punches, trying to come up underneath with little fishhook uppercuts to the chest and chin. Nice banging two-way trade--Merritt happy to take a shot in order to swing away--she's bashing Italian flank, getting the odd clout to jaw as she keeps Val pinned to the ropes.

R5: Kelsey runs into a series of jab/right hands, rejected on repeated attempts inside, growing increasingly ramshackle as she stubbornly tries to kick in the front door. Valentina able to hang back, get her jab on, line Merritt up and CLOCK her stout right hands on the jaw--by the midway point, Kelsey's wobbly butt, staggering, clearly overestimated her ability to ship these clean Val haymakers. Fradegrada lean in the outside circling right, positioning with the jab, and laying into searing rights on occasion--it's target practice and Kelsey's shabby, lumped up after 5.

R6: Valentina sidestepping, dancing around the perimeter in the first minute, just wants to frustrate Kelsey, get her breathing hard. Merritt hands up, trying to step in with a chopping right, spitting out that little jab as she cuts down the ring. Midway through, Kelsey drops a right over Val's left, startling the Italian, front legs gives a shimmy as she covers up hurt. Merritt crowding in close, scrounging gut with digging little hooks, joining in with muscular right hands to the pit of the stomach: Fradegrada groaning to the ropes, scrambles to keep it together. Kelsey in hard with her head, then picking Val up with a short right uppercut, back in tough with her head again and a WITHERING left hook harsh on the liver. Fradegrada hands drape over Merritt’s shoulders, but those legs are GONE! Valentina slides down Kelsey's thighs to quake gutshot on the mat and this one's OVER! KO6 Kelsey Merritt as she guts out the KO!

After: Kelsey not winning pretty, but winning nonetheless, and that’s all that counts! Merritt walking back over to the still prone Fradegrada after having her gloves removed, reaching down and untying her top, tossing it over her shoulder to the corner crew to be added to the O&E trophy case. Kelsey toes Val onto her back, then poses with her foot on the Italian’s bared chest as she just evened the score in this years reckoning!
