NATALIE ALYN LIND VS NAOMI SCOTT

Results: Lookout Writing: Archer

Natalie: 23 YO, 5’5 (1.65 m), 23-17-0, 23 KO since 2017, Foxfire Boxing

Naomi: 29 YO, 5’6 (1.67 m), 24-10-0. 24 KO since 2017, Hawkeye International Sports Consortium.

Before: Strange vibe for this fight. Rumors are circulating that HISC would be willing to trade Naomi Scott. FCBA press has been unable to confirm who HISC might be in secret talks with. Some think this fight is designed to polish up Naomi’s image by giving her chance to even the score against busty Foxfire bantam Natalie Alyn Lind.

“I am not going to talk about rumours and gossip,” says Naomi, “I would like to point out that less than 2 years ago I held the Bantamweight title. Yes, I had a disappointing 3-3 in 2022, but I can do much better than that. I have proved that in the past and I will certainly prove it in the future.”

As for Natalie she shrugs: “I don’t care about backstage stuff. I just want lots of chances to fight. I was 3-4 but I know I am better than that. Naomi was beatable the first time I faced her. She dissed me, said I wasn’t good enough, but I beat her and made her march around the ring in a Walk of Shame. You remember that, don’t you, Scotty?”

“Of course I remember it and I told you then you pay for it. You will this time—and don’t call me ‘Scotty’.” Snapped Naomi.

“Sure thing, Scotty, anything you say,” mocked Natalie Alyn Lind looks delighted. She laughs and waves to the crowd.

“See you all soon!”

Fight finds the two fighters facing each other in the ring. Naomi in a yellow bikini with black boots and gloves (yellow laces). Naomi’s hair is loose, but wetted down. Natalie in black lace bra and panties. Red boots and globes (black laces) with her hair pulled back in a battle braid. Both fighters seem tense, though the ring instructions go quickly and there is fast tap of the gloves before they go to their corners. The bell rings…

R1: NAL and Naomi out smoothly to the center of the ring and start trading punches. Slow, probing shots early. Then Naomi comes forward to strike at Natalie’s jawline. Natalie ready for her with head turning clouts to the jaw from her own right and lefts. Naomi thrown back. Natalie comes rolling forward with body shots with making Naomi double up with a gurgling gasps. Naomi trying to slow this up with some body punches of her own, but Natalie’s counters much stronger and they have Naomi defensively bottled up by the time the bell rings. R1 to Natalie Alyn Lind wide.

R2: Naomi opens with a rapid series of jabs into Natty’s face and then two solid uppercuts to the chin. Natalie trying to drop back and circle around, but Naomi is on her with rib scorching rights and lefts into the blonde’s ribs. Natalie trying to fight Naomi off with her jab, but she’s getting hit solidly to the jaw, cheekbones and of the sides of her head. Natalie forced into a protective defense that allow Naomi Scott to the round wide.

R3: Natalie and Naomi circling each other in the center f the ring as the new round gets started. Naomi comes in first hammering away at Natalie’s ribs once again. Natalie fighting back with body shots of her own, but then Naomi suddenly shifts fire and blasts in a right cross to NAL’s chin that sends tremors down her legs. Natalie rubbery legged as she retreats and Naomi keeps up the pressure adding some nasty jugg shots to her rib action. Natalie grimacing, trying to jab back but keeps getting disrupted by Naomi’s lightning strike head shots. Again Natalie is bottled up in a protective defense as Natalie cruises to a wide win.

R4: Natalie trying to be more aggressive this round. She is out quickly and lunges at Naomi to get things started with a bell ringing shot to the head. Naomi momentarily confused and Natalie quick to take advantage with a flurry of ja and chin shots mixed in with belly and jugg shots. Naomi recovers quickly and counterattacks behind a solid series of jabs to Natalie’s head and ribs. Natalie pulling out to catch her breath but soon comes back in swinging, but Naomi coolly greets her with a stuffing hook deep to the belly and the a crunching hard right off NAL’s chi. DOWN GOES NATALIE! Natalie sprawls on her face as Naomi nimbly steps aside on her way to the neutral corner. Natalie struggling to rise against the referee’s count and makes it up at “EIGHT!” Fight resumes, but Natalie is turtling up defensively. Not even some jugg jabbing from Naomi provokes a reaction from NAL. However the knockdown assures Naomi another round won wide.

R5: Naomi eager to get back to Natalie, but she now encounters a fired up NAL. Natty shoots forward and wallops Naomi a big right to the jaw. Naomi is caught flush, her whole body goes spinning to one side and towards the ropes. Natalie springs forward but Naomi has presence of mind to get her jab going and Natalie is driven back by a face full of Naomi’s leather. Naomi a little slow in the follow-up but she is crowding Natalie hard, but Natalie is fighting back just as hard. Grinding body action ensues as the punches slam into breasts, ribs and stomachs. They are going at it punch-for-punch, but then Natalie steps back a heaves a surprise overhand right that catches Naomi on the chin and sends a shock waves through her body. Naomi falling back behind the covering fire of her jab, but Natalie still on the attack as bell sounds. Judges found this to be a close round, but give the nod to Natalie Alyn Lind.

R6: Naomi out punching early and often this round as she appears to be trying regain her momentum in the bout. However, she is being dueled punch for punch by Natalie. Exciting action as Naomi first drives Natalie back, but then Natalie rallies and forces Naomi into retreat. Naomi getting worked over hard to the head. She’s dodge or at least blunt the incoming, but Natalie is getting very good at finding holes in Naomi’s defenses. Then Natalie finds a big one, sneaking a right uppercut in behind Naomi;s mitts to blst her hard under the chin. Blow freezes Naomi in shock and then Natalie loads two more uppercuts just like it. DOWN GOES NAOMI! Naomi’s feet fly out fro under her as her head is snapped back and her body follows. Wet THUD as Naomi’s sweat drenched body hits the canvas and she is starfished with arms and legs outflung. NAL with big happy smile as she makes her way to the neutral corner. Naomi stirring and trying to rise, but keeps losing her balance and falling back. She is on her knees with a stricken expression on her face as the referee ends her night:

“YOU’RE OUT!”

After: Gleeful NAL can’t wait to gather up a miserable Naomi and soon is dragging her around the ring for a stinging Walk of Shame.

“I think this should settle the question as to whether or not she’s in my league—she’s not!” Natalie announces. “I think this shows I’m getting better and she’s getting worse. I doubt I’ll ever hear from her again!”

“I was doing just fine, but the fight got away from me,” a woeful Naomi says. “Lind is not that much better than I am. She is just so frustrating!”

One can sympathize with Naomi Scott. She was doing well in R2-4, but Natalie Alyn Lind got back in the fight and ended it in R6. Bitter loss for Naomi, but solid win for Natalie Alyn Lind who looks ready for a better class of opponent. Rumors circling around Naomi’s future at HISC, but lately whispers are saying Foxfire Boxing might be interested. Which brings the question of what would happen with Naomi and NAL in the same organization. Or would they be? Archer News Service is said to be on the case. In the meantime, FCBA followers can ponder this fight and wonder what happens next for the two fighters.
