Nina Dobrev vs Bella Thorne

BEFORE: There is some confusion over Nina Dobrev's Hall of Fame eligibility status but she did have three JMD fights in her career, one of which was against tonight's opponent Bella Thorne back on the Doll Ball in October 2018. Now the Florida native returns to avenge losing the JMD title to Nina's stablemate Jessica Lowndes only a couple of months ago and doesn't care much what the Canadian's career numbers are:
"I'm here to win and prove I am the better woman. Pure and simple. I've taken her down in some big matches before and I can always do it again. She will crawl to the Hall of Fame alright but not before I totally beat her up! Let's frickin' go, bytch!"
Nina ignores the redhead's outburst and rolls her eyes in the opposite corner which doesn't escape the Dollhouse crew's attention. Some lenghty stares are exchanged and there's a minimal touch with the gloves as well. This contest could get very hot very quickly!
Nina Dobrev wears a purple bikini set with black trim & silver gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Bella Thorne wears a black bikini set & red gloves. Long auburn brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.
Round 1:
Bella follows the verbal outburst with some quick fire jabbing as she wastes no time whatsoever to deliver the heat and while Nina has long recovered from her birthday party last month, she's unable to live with the redhead's pace during the opening clash. She grazes some flesh but eats a mighty response and folds behind an early earmuff whuch to Carmen Electra's delight in the VIP lounge. Bella barks in similar delight when she drives the Canadian back to the ropes and mauls her to the body thereafter. Nina remains frozen out of any meaningful action and just takes all the Thorne abuse here until she finally clinches the younger actress late in the going. Bella seeths into her ear and tries to shake off the stalemate whic she does... and rips a left hook on the jaw to sink Dobrev on jelly legs right at the bell.
Round 2:
Lioness coach Eva Mendes gets vocal during the break and Nina finally wakes up with a jabbing response to neutralize her opponent's slugging ideas. Both women exchange hard leather in the center of the ring and crank up the leather volume to an elite level however the action remains even as Dobrev has shaken off that poor opener and licks the Dollhouse front runner from each side to trigger a nervous reaction from the younger opponent. Bella tries to act tough and taunts the Canadian veteran to bring it... and she gets laced up the chimney to lose her grip on the exchange. Nina duly clobbers her back to the ropes as footwork prowess suddenly deserts the Florida native who has to scramble around in the corner to avoid getting trapped in a tough spot. She manages to escape Nina's wrath in the end but Carmen Electra still shakes her head over in the stands.
Round 3:
More of the same in the third, Nina stretches her elbows that split second faster to drive in the head-hunting blast before Bella can bring in hers. Hectic action in the center of the ring where Nina follows through a little better in the end and she gives Bella a real faceful of leather however it takes more to break the redhead's stride here. No more taunting to keep it strictly business and it benefits Dobrev who cracks a jabbing rally that visibly frustrates the younger actress in the process. Bella tries to wind up a one-timer to shake off the brunette's resistance but gets busted to the body with a rare switch and has to grind the scraps along the ropes where Nina maintains the hot hand to run away with the round; she belts Thorne in the navel to sign off her comeback and barges her in the boobs before the ref can pull her back.
Round 4:
Bella finds the response thumping the older actress to the body and this is where both women focus their attacks early in the fourth. Messy exchange interrupted by a clash of heads triggers an angry reaction from each corner but Thorne recovers first and gashes the brunette around the ribcage to reel her onto the ropes down the stretch. Nina maintains her composure even as she gets belted for honest value and doesn't show any signs of looking hurt which in turn makes the Floriad girl somewhat upset. Bella drives in more body shots to keep the edge and even tries to tackle the cleavage just to make up for the Lowndes failure few weeks ago. Nina bumps her off from those ideas though and lines a proper heater response to escape from the ropes in the closing stages alas it's still a round for Bella according to most pundits and Tess Valmore in the booth.
Round 5:
The back & forth nature of this fight continues with both women holding even and matching each other in the power supply department. Bella still gets more animated in the ring as she tries to convince everyone she is the supreme fighter and some fans believe she might stumble over some counter-punching response but Nina just doesn't bully her around enough so far. Whatever the Lioness plan is, it's still Thorne making the better impression as she carries another body assault effort to force Dobrev on her heels before a desperate heave suddenly wobbles the American off her stance. Nina drives another one-two series on the boobs and begins a furious comeback to stun Bella on the spot. The crowd smells a tide turning in the soon-to-be Hall of Famer's favor even if it takes an elite effort to dismiss someone like Thorne... and the clock expires before Dobrev can deliver the slam dunk finish so she has to settle for the old fashioned panel beating with Bella camped behind the high earmuff.
Round 6:
Bella flies in from the gate and stuns Nina with a left/right combo before a right-on-right exchange opens a nasty gash around the Canadian's eye. Ugh! Nina stumbles to the side and has a hard time finding her rhythm while Thorne racks up all the heavy shots on target and drops the elite hammer to open another cut below the left eye. Nina tries to find that burst of speed she had in the prevous round but Bella has learned her lesson and she brings in the heat to pummel the brunette back to the turnbuckle where she delivers the monster uppercut blast to dissect the high-guard before a right hook on the ear sends Dobrev bouncing off the ropes to meet a lights out hook on the jaw moments later. BOOM!!! DOWN SHE GOES and it's one for the family album, folks!!! The count is quickly waved off as Nina remains motionless down on the canvas!!! Bella T. still owns this rivalry as she celebrates a stunning KO6 victory!!!
AFTER: Latin tempers flare outside of the ring as Carmen Electra clashes with Lioness coach Eva Mendes but there's no denying who the better woman was since Bella Thorne truly smoked Nina high and dry tonight. She improves the head-to-head to 3-1 over the Canadian brunette who needs a longer minute to finally regain her whereabouts. Oof. Forget the actual numbers, the Hall of Fame party is set to be postponed with Eva Mendes on the phone already to determine the upcoming Nina schedule.
Meanwhile Carmen Electra has made her way to the ring after the initial Mendes scuffle and offers some free cerveza to anyone who votes Bella for Knockout of the Night honors. Someone needs to tell her the voting is done online but there's too much joy in The Dollhouse camp to bother with the details!
