Pre-Fight: League of Mighty Women’s struggling star Anya Taylor-Joy will be facing Odds & Ends Fight Studio’s beach legend Demi Rose. Anya seemed to be getting back on track with back-to-back wins, but she was once again stopped by Priyanka Chopra in their one-sided rivalry, so Anya will be looking to bounce back from that devastating loss. As for Demi, she started the year with her domination of the beach fights once again and she will be looking to continue that domination against Anya in her first regular fight of this year.

Anya starts off the pre-fight press conference with a serious expression on her face. “Let me start by pointing out that Priyanka got lucky again, but I won’t let her humiliate me for a third time! It goes to show you how dangerous having bullies in the FCBA is as they can just get lucky and ruin your mood with their actions. So, I’m back to dealing with the bullies starting with Demi! She likes flaunting her assets and shoving them in her opponent’s face after defeating them, but she won’t get that chance against me!”

After listening to her opponent’s remarks in disbelief, Demi shakes her head and starts addressing Anya directly. “What are you talking about, I’m the ‘True Queen of the Beach’ and everybody loves me! Well, except the ones that are jealous of me and I can understand why you would be jealous. I have a perfectly curvy body and a bantamweight title alongside many other titles in my career, things that you don’t have! I will show you how nice I am after I knock you out by giving you a closer look at something that you envy. You can experience my impressive jugs up close when I give you a breast smother. Just a regular one though, you are not worthy enough for my special single-breast smother.” Anya can be seen fuming throughout Demi’s remarks and at the end she walks over and towers over her. Demi is not intimidated by her taller opponent though, so she quickly stands up to her and pushes her chest against Anya. The security and both camps end up having to separate the two before things get more physical and both fighters are escorted backstage from different sides signaling the end of the press conference.

It is fight night and Anya makes her entrance first as she is accompanied by her coach Gillian Anderson. She looks focused as she walks towards the ring and she briefly waves to the fans cheering for her. She bounces on her toes as she listens to Gillian’s instructions.

She is wearing a yellow sports bra, matching trunks, black gloves and boots while her hair is tied into a ponytail.

Next comes Demi Rose with her coach Kelly Carlson beside her. On her way to the ring, she blows kisses to the fans and gives them a quick shimmy, which gets a loud cheer from the crowd as they show their appreciation for Demi.

She is wearing a silver bikini set with matching gloves and boots while her hair is loose down her back.

Both fighters come to the center of the ring to receive final instructions from the referee, but then neither fighter goes for the touch of gloves as they give an icy stare at each other, so the referee ends up having to urge them to step back to their corners. With that, we are now ready for 10 rounds of bantamweight action!

Fight: Round 1: The bell rings and both fighters are ready to get in on the action right away. Demi confidently steps up as she is used to pushing through the defensive jabs of taller opponents, but she is caught off guard by the extra aggressive start by Anya. ATJ sets a high pace by stepping up, landing a double jab-straight combo and keep pushing forward with hooks to the body and face. It is unusual for her to make an aggressive start, but it worked early on against Priyanka, so she seems to be sticking with it. Demi is accustomed to being the aggressor, so she keeps eating those shots as she tries to make the adjustment. However, it is not easy to adjust when Anya keeps the pace high and applies constant pressure as she bends her knees with each strike, constantly switching targets between body and head for her relentless combinations.

In the second half of the round, Demi finally gets her defenses up to slow down Anya’s attacks, but she is visibly upset by letting her opponent get away with that early onslaught. ATJ is still in control and on the attack, but she is landing less punches cleanly as Demi tightens her guard up high. Anya looks happy with her performance as the bell signals the end of the opening round. She is the clear winner of the round and takes the early lead on the scorecards.

During the break, Demi looks frustrated, so her coach Kelly tries to calm her down and make her focus on their tactics. “You need to calm down. She can’t keep this pace up for long. Keep defending for a while longer and look for openings when she slows down and make her pay when you get inside!”

Round 2: Anya sticks to her high pace, high pressure offense after finding success with pacifying a normally aggressive Demi in the first round. While she doesn’t seem happy to be doing so, Demi listens to her coach and starts with a defensive approach to wait out for Anya to slow down. ATJ keeps throwing a high volume of combinations, but only a few punches land cleanly while the rest either gets blocked or misses. It is her turn to get surprised as she clearly wasn’t expecting Demi to get this defensive. Since she cannot land as much as she wants with this high effort offense, Anya starts showing signs of slowing down. This is what Demi has been waiting for, so she eagerly barrels through a couple of defensive jabs by Anya and finally gets inside. She wastes no time and quickly starts firing away strong body shots. Anya isn’t happy with this new development, so she tries to push her opponent away and create some space, but Demi immediately closes the distance again and goes back to blasting Anya’s body. Anya keeps pushing her away, but she keeps coming back for more body punishment, not giving her opponent any breathing room.

Anya looks relieved to take a breather once the bell rings, because she put a lot of effort early in the round and then her body was relentlessly attacked by Demi for the rest of the round. As for Demi, she looks happy that she didn’t have to wait too long before turning this fight into a close-quarters affair. She came back with a strong display this round and even the score.

Round 3: Now that she has found her rhythm, Demi goes on the attack right away in the third round. She eats a couple of jabs on her way in, but she gets inside and starts working Anya’s body with stiff shovel hooks. Looks like Anya is overwhelmed by Demi’s assault as she focuses on trying to defend herself and forgets about her game plan to move around and use her range. She is blocking some shots and fighting back a bit, but she is taking a lot more damage than she is dishing out by just standing and trading with the sturdy Demi, who is happily blasting her opponent’s body. Anya tries to push her opponent away and use one-two combinations to keep her at bay, but since she is not moving around enough, it isn’t long before Demi finds her way back inside for even more punishment. Towards the end of the third, pink and red marks appear on Anya’s body as Demi already starts to double her up with nasty shots to the tummy.

That’s back-to-back dominant rounds for Demi as she takes control of this fight and takes the lead on the scorecards. In between the rounds, Gillian is showing some tough love to her fighter. “You need to start moving your feet or Demi will beat you up worse than Priyanka did!” Anya gives her a death stare, but Gillian seems happy getting any type of reaction out of her. “Good, now redirect that energy into the fight! Keep moving and tagging Demi from the range.”

Round 4: Demi eager to get her hands on Anya again, but the LMW fighter seems to have regained her focus as she goes back to the game plan and starts moving around the ring. Demi is not happy with having to chase after her opponent around the ring, especially after getting used to her being an easy, stationery target in the previous two rounds. ATJ catches her with short combinations from the range, which Demi is fine with eating as long as she can barrel through, but by the time she gets there Anya already gets out of the way. As this scenario keeps repeating itself, Demi starts to get frustrated. She was happily beating her opponent last round, but now she can’t even get to her and keeps getting hit on the head for trying. She occasionally gets a chance to land single punches, but for the most part she is kept away with the one-two combinations and footwork of Anya.

The bell signals the end of a frustrating round for Demi, but Anya needed to change things up and she did that in time to stay in this fight. With this round win, ATJ also tied up the score. She still needs ice packs to be applied to her abs, but Anya looks to be in a much better mood compared to the last break.

Round 5: At the start of the fifth round, Anya sticks to tagging her opponent from the range while keeping her feet moving. However, she isn’t landing as much, because Demi stops trying to barrel through ATJ’s combinations and starts to bob and weave as she tries to get inside. She avoids taking unnecessary damage this way, but she is still having trouble pinning down Anya, so the first half of this round goes quietly without either side landing anything significant. Demi does find the solution in the second half though. When she gets inside, instead of trying to land a single punch to a fleeting Anya, Demi instead hooks her arm around her waist to get her into a clinch. Once in the clinch, Demi rapidly fires a triple shovel hook to Anya’s battered tummy. Anya tries to use her forearms to push down and away on Demi’s shoulders, but she is not budging, so there is nothing else ATJ can do other than to wait for the referee to separate them as the stocky Brit lands a couple more body shots. Finally the referee breaks the clinch, but Anya’s relief is short-lived as Demi quickly steps in with a lead uppercut to the abs and a right hook to the ribs, forcing ATJ to clinch this time. Demi doesn’t mind though as she continues to punish her opponent’s body from the clinch until the referee separates them again. Fortunately for Anya, the bell rings before Demi can get close for a third time.

Demi wins the round easily and takes the lead on the scorecards again, but this fight has seen some wild momentum swings so far, so Anya can’t be counted out just yet. Kelly tells her fighter to keep up the good work, while Gillian and Anya try to come up with a solution during the break.

Round 6: At the start of the round Anya is just focusing on keeping away from her opponent, not even trying to land anything from the range. Demi ends up having to chase her opponent around the ring. Her frustration starts to show as she gets more reckless with her approaches, wanting to catch Anya and finish the job. As she takes a big step in, Anya also steps in to everyone’s surprise and lands a massive uppercut that Demi walks right into. She stands there stunned as Anya quickly goes for a double jab-straight combination followed by a hook to the chin that forces a rare Demi retreat. The curvy model tries to tighten up her guard, but Anya uses her significant reach advantage to find openings, constantly switching sides and levels to keep her opponent guessing. After a hook to the ribs, Anya slips a stiff straight between her opponent’s guard, which gives Demi a bloodied nose and drives her back to the ropes.

Things are going from bad to worse for Demi as Anya starts to pick her apart with nonstop combinations that sway the busty model left and right on the ropes. Demi decides that the best defense is offense and she starts fighting back with wild swings. It seems to be working as Anya doesn’t want to get caught by them and steps back, which gives Demi the opportunity to get away from the ropes. She is not steady on her feet though and her swings start to get sluggish, so Anya carefully gets back in range to land some stiff combinations to the head. Demi is getting groggy from all these punches and her swings are getting weaker, which gives Anya the time to set her opponent up with a one-two combination up top and a couple of hooks to the body. Demi stands there, stunned as Anya lands a vicious uppercut to the chin that lifts Demi up momentarily and then the curvy model drops on her back with a loud thud as her impressive rack jiggles! As the jiggling stops, Demi lies there spread-eagled and out cold, so the referee signals for the bell! It is all over!

Official Result: Winner via KO in round 6, Anya Taylor-Joy!

Post-Fight: Anya flexes her arms as she stands over Demi, then she places her boot over Demi’s massive jugs and presses down a bit, almost causing a wardrobe malfunction. As both coaches enter the ring, Gillian motions that she will deal with it and gently pulls away Anya and hugs her to congratulate her fighter on her big win. On the other side, Demi wakes up and is helped to her stool, where she is checked by the medical team and gets the thumbs up from them. After resting for a moment, Demi exits the ring with Kelly’s help, clearly looking upset by the result.

Anya comes to the center of the ring to get her hand raised by the referee and then takes the mic to address the fans. “She hits hard and she is sturdy, but I’m clearly the better boxer and I proved it tonight! I have dealt with another one, but there are still many bullies in the FCBA that I need to deal with. For example Demi’s stablemate Samara (Weaving). That’s right Samara, I didn’t forget about you. I will deal with you too and make you pay for your despicable actions!” Anya throws down the microphone angrily and leaves the ring as Gillian tries to cheer her up by reminding her that she just got an important victory.

It was a wild fight as Anya and Demi took turns dominating the action, but in the end it was a massive win for Anya, who desperately needed a victory against an elite opponent after struggling against a certain level of fighters since last year. As for Demi, it was a frustrating loss, but she will be shifting her focus to her title defense next month as she returns to her favored terrain, the beach.
