JAGUAR TITLE FIGHT

Stana: 42 YO, 59 (1.75 m), 21-6-0, 21 KO since 2021, Celerity Wrestling Federation

Before: “I selected Stana for my first defense because I didn’t get the chance to fight her in the Jaguar Tournament,” Jennifer Garner says in the prefight. She looked good even though she ended up losing to Yvonne Strahovski, so I decided I to take her on myself.”

“I am only sorry I didn’t make it to the Tournament finals to fight Jen for the title belt, Stana Katic said. “I appreciate her giving me a second chance. I admit I am a late comer to the FCBA. But thanks to the Jaguar Division it’s not too late for me. I am really looking forward to this.”

“I am glad to hear that, Stana, but winning the Jaguar Title really got me excited about boxing again. I have no intention of giving it up any time soon,” Jen says.

“You may not have the intention, but I certainly have the determination to get it for myself. I prefer to think my loss in the Tournament was a fluke and that really, the title should have been mind. Now I have the chance to correct that and see to it that the proper person wears the belt.”

Jen is starting to look irritated: “If my ‘proper person’ you mean yourself—that’s not happening.”

Stana smiles irritatingly: “We’ll just have to see about that, won’t we?”

“The sooner the better,” Jen snaps.

Soon enough the fighters are entering the ring. Stana, as challenger, enters first and removed her robe to reveal a dark blue string bikini with light blue gloves and boxing bootlets, hr hair is pulled back in a French braid. Then the Defending Champion. Jennifer makes her entrance and removed her robe to show she is wearing a polka dot one piece, dark blue lower half and white upper half with blue and white dots. White gloves and bootlets with blue laces. The referee then goes over his instructions promptly. That done, Jen and Stana tape mitts and go to their corners. The bell rings.

R1: Stana showing aggression early as she tries to crowd in on Jennifer, Sharp jabs to the body as Stana seems to be testing Jen’s stamina. Jen giving right back at the challenger’s body. They are circling each other, punches coming in quick flurries mostly to the body and mostly from Stana. Jen seems to be patient, trying to answer every Stana Katic thrust with counters of her own. Late the round, Stana shifts fire and bangs Jen hard to the chin and jaw. Jen slow in answering these, though her legs remain sturdy. Still, that late flurry seems to have convinced judges to give Stana a narrow win on their cards.

R2: Out they come for the new round and this time it is Jen Garner striking first—and hard. Big right hand to the jaw turns Stana’s head as a follow-up left lifts her chin. Stana looking a little shaky as she pulls back to regroup. Jen smoothly following now she works away at Stana’s midsection, driving in the hooks and making Stana grunt as the pressure on her abs mounts steadily. Stana steadies herself and starts firing counters into ‘s body, but then takes another head swiveling right to the jaw and her legs shudder. Jen pushing the challenger back, hitting her hto the head and body, keeping Stana from mounting a counterattack. Round ends in a convincingly wide win for Jen G.

R3: Action resumes with Jen again the aggressor and again opening against Stana’s head. Stana is protecting her chin and jaw, but Jen is bouncing blows off the sides of the challenger’s head. Then, as Stana tries to protect her head by raising her high guard higher, Jen brings those punishing hooks to bear on Stana’s rib cage and belly. Stana is bent over at the waist and just trying to back away. Jen in close pursuit, looks to be trying to herd Stana into the ropes, Stana making a stand with her jab against Jen’s body. Jen blocked, tries to circle, looking for an opening, but time runs out before she can find one. However Jen is still able to win another round wide.

R4: Stana fast out of her corner this time, she feints a shot at Jen’s head with her let, but brings a gut buster right slamming into Jen’s abs. Jen is jackknifed forward with a gurgling groan as Stana pours in more hooks behind that first one. Jen is hastily pulling back, but Stana now firing away at Jen’s head. Jen forced to duck and is able to reply with few hooks into Stana’s ribs. Stana suddenly looking very dominate as she is now the one trying to herd her opponent into the ropes. Jen is the one stalling for time and trying to keep off the strands. Bitter exchange of body blows as the round ends. Jen breathing hard and Stana looking pleased with herself. As well she ight, she has won this round wide.

R5: Both fighters fast out of their corners as the new round commences, but this time it is Jennifer scoring with right/left uppercuts to the chin, then follow-up right/left combo to the jaw. Stana staggering back, covering her face as she tries to pull herself together. Jen keeping up the pressure with a slashing attack that ravages Stana Kati’s torso from breasts to belly and back again. Stana hunched up, just trying to survive this attack which increases in intensity as the minutes tick away. Jen really working those side ribs, too but plenty of attention up the midsection. Stana swaying, but Jen can’t seem to land the punch that would put her down. Bell sounds and Jen stes back. Stana is now panting and Jen is smiling grimly. Jen has come back to win this round wide.

R6: Bell sounds, Champion and challenger both out quickly once again. Stana lets Jen come forward and as Jen is about to unleash her right—Stana strikes first. Big right crashes into Jens cheekbone and then left coming thundering in behind it. Jen’s legs suddenly all rubbery as she lurches backwards. Stana striking at Jen’s head, but is quickly blocked and she now goes all out against Jen’s belly and ribs. Jen is forced to give more and more ground as her desperate jabs aren’t slowing Stana up. Suddenly Jen’s butt hits the ropes all Jen can d is take a seat and bury her face in her gloves. Stana now free to work over the Garner torso in a vengefully thorough scrubbing. Jen writhing under the torrent of leather, but her legs have grown firm again and they keep her up through the rest of the ordeal to the bell. Jen pale and shaken as she leaves the ropes. Stana giving her a cold look and turning away. Stana Katic has won the round wide.

R7: Foxfire corner crew have their work cut out for them during the break, but they succeed in getting Jen out promptly as soon as the bell rings. Stana wasting no time in coming at Jen, she looks eager to finish the job, but Jen is ready for her. Stana gets her jaw and chin lit up solid strikes from the Champion. Stana swings right back, but Jen now using shoulders to block the incoming and she starts working Stana to the body once again. Stana hitting back at Jen’s body, perhaps hoping she can build on the damage she inflicted in the previous round. Jen gritting her mothpiece as she whacks Stana back to the ribs. Round is entering its final minute as Jen suddenly drops down and then shoots upwards. She gets her right uppercut in behind Stana’s gloves and it EXPLODES against Stana’s chin. Stana’s head snaps back AND SHE SPILLS ONTO HER BACKSIDE! Stana Katic is in a seated position with a what-just-happened? Expression o her face. Jen trots off to the neutral corner. Stana shakes her head, trying to clear the stars and chirping birdies in her brain. She then staggers to her feet to just beat the count at “NINE!” Jen shrugs and waits for the fight to resume. When it does, Stana takes the prudent course and goes for the tight defense that gives Jen little to work with before te bell sounds. However that knockdown assures Jen Garner an easy win of this round.

R8: Now it is the CWF corner crew that has to work hard on their fighter during the break. Stana seems to make a point of jumping up put of her stool at the bell, but she is not moving quite as easily as Jennifer, The two head for the middle of the ring and start punching . Jen is going for Stana’s head, Stana trying to move her upper body more and she is making it a more elusive target. Stana is going after Jen to the body. Jen takes up the challenge and soon they are toe to toe bringing short, hard rights and lefts into each other’s bodies. Steady whack, whack WHACK! As the two struggle to inflict maximum manage to the other’s throbbing torso. Whack! Whack! WHACK! Gradually, Stana Katic starts to push Jen Garner back step by hard fought step. It’s not much, but it does allow Stana to narrowly win the round and leave the champion breathing hard as walks to her corner.

R9: Jennifer seems to have pulled herself together once again during the break, She comes out reasonably well. Stana is out faster, but she doesn’t rush to the attack. They collide at mid-ring in the fast, bruising exchange of more body punching. Again, they are at it toe to toe slamming home the rights and lefts with gasps and groans coming from both as they strain. It is very even most of the way, but then flurry of bely hooks sends a electric shock through Jen Garner’s body, freezing her in place for a split second. In that split second, Stana Katic brings her right hand crashing into the point of Jen’s chin. Jen stumbled backwards and Stana heaves in rightand lefts to the jaw. DOWN GOES JENNIFER GARNER! Jen sprawls on her back, arms up over her head as her knees moved uselessly. Stana heads for the neutral corner. The referee tarts to count. Jen is stirring, She rolls to her side and tries to force herself to stand, but her body is not obeying.

“EIGHT!”….”NINE!”….”TEN!”…YOU’RE OUT!” cries to referee as Jen finally able to totter to her feet—much too late.

THE WINNER AND NEW JAGUAR CHAMPION STANA KATIC DEFEATS JENNIFER GARNER KO9!

After:

“Wasn’t that some fight?” A weary, but smiling Stana Katic tells the press after she has been fitted for the title belt. “You really savor the ones that didn’t come easy and this one sure didn’t. Jen fought for this belt hard but I fought for it harder and now I have it around my waist. Looks good, doesn’t it?”

For Jennifer Garner it is melancholy moment as she meets the press: “I gave it all I had and it wasn’t enough. Oh, I came close, but knockdown is not a knockout and Stana was the one who the knockout. She is fine fighter, I am sure she’ll be good Champion, but I am NOT giving up on the Jaguar Division. Those ladies have not seen the last of Jen Garner!”

A very worthy title fight that was in doubt most of the way. In the end, Stana Katic seemed able to wear Jennifer Garner down and win the 9th. Jen had her chance in the 7th, but Stana was able to get back to her feet and win it all two rounds. There are plenty of Jaguar opponents out there and Stana may have as much trouble as Jen did on holding onto her title for long, but it should make for exciting fights for fans of the Jaguar action.
