CHLOE BENNET VS RACHEL MCADAMS

Results: Lookout Writing: Archer

Chloe: 31 YO, 5’5 ¾ (1.67 m) 55-7-0, 54 KO since 2013, Front Street Stable

Rachel: 42 YO, 5’4 (1.63 m), 59-50-1. 37 KO since 2005 Foxfire Boxing

Before: “I know what some of those social media say: ‘Chloe Bennet has a padded record from all those Asylum fights. She can’t beat REAL FCBA opponent.’” A clearly irritated Chloe Bennet tells the press. “That is nonsense. I won those Asylum fights fair and square. I am out to prove I can beat a former champion like Rachel McAdams and that’s just what I will do!”

Rachel McAdams coolly replies: “I appreciate Chloe thinking me as established opponent to prove a point with, but I am jut as anxious to prove I can still beat the younger fighters. I think Chloe is vulnerable to an experienced fighter like myself and I can use that to win. So I am out to prove a point myself!”

The two meet again in the ring on Fight Night. Chloe is in a yellow bikini trimmed in black with yellow gloves and boots (black laces), her dark hair pulled back in a battle braid. Rachel is in black bikini with silver pattern on it. Black gloves and boots with silver laces. Rachel’s auburn hair loose, but wetted down.

The referee goes over his instructions crisply. Gloves are then tapped. CXh;oe and Rachel return to their corners. The bell rings and they come out….

R1: Chloe and Rachel circle at mid-ring to get things started. Soe exploratory punches exchanged. Then Chloe strikes with quick jabs to Rachel’s jaw and a fast follow-up right uppercut to ounce her chin back. Rachel dropping back to steady herself. Chloe advances and steadily fires shots into Rachel’s torso. Rachel twisting away, trying to punch Chloe back, but then was smacked hard to the chin. Rachel knocked back on her heels as Chloe again moves forward smartly with more brisk body punching to the bell. Chloe Bennet wins round wide.

R2: Rachel wastes no time in greeting Chloe with a deep hook to the belly and smashing right cross to the jaw. Now it is Chloe knocked back on her heels as Rachel McAdams moved forward with a barrage of head and body shots. Chloe managing to reply with some jabs and body hooks, but Rachel presses her hard as they move around the ring, By the end of round, Chloe is hunched up and covering her head as Rachel working her ribs and abs. Round goes easily to Rachel McAdams.

R3: Rachel eagerly coming at Chloe ready to inflict ore damage on the younger fighter. Hoevrr Chloe seems recovered from her rough treatment in the previous round and moved forward to meet the challenge head-on. Brisk exchange of head swiveling jaw shots sends Rachel and Chloe stumbling back momentarily seeing stars. They shake off the cobwebs quickly and move t each other. Now the punches are going to the body. They are standing toe to toe and firing in short rights and lefts to smite each other to the torso over and over. The sound of leather smacking against sweat covered flesh clearly audible to ringsiders. Stays even much of the way, but late, Rachel able to dig in and get extra into belly hooks. Chloe driven back, doubled up and gasping for air as Rachel bangs away at the sides of Chloe’s head. Chloe managing some counter hooks, but they aren’t enough to stop Rachel from winning a close round on the judges’ cards.

R4: Chloe and Rachel back out to the middle of the ring. Rachel seems interested in resuming the body battle, but Chloe responds with ringing rights and lefts to Rachel’s head and jaw. Rachel clearly dazed by his flurry, retreats, covering up and trying to regroup. Chloe keeping up the pressure. She now attacks to Rachel’s midsection once again and moves from side to side to pound Rachel’s flank ribs. Rachel trying to break up the attack, but her counters are not slowing down Chloe’s barrage. Rachel is managing to steer clear of the ropes, but it is nowhere near enough to keep Chloe from winning this round wide.

R5: Once again, a round opens with Rachel and Chloe exchanging head shots. Lows keep swiveling heads and make chins bounce. They also start sending shock waves through the bodies of the pair. Looking groggy, they lurch towards each other and now get into another intense body battle. Punches are pounding breasts, roasting ribs and driving hooks into abs throbbing with hurt. Yet they keep it up as the clock as the clock ticks remorselessly until the bell rings and they are sagging into each other. Referee kindly pushes them apart and points them to their proper corners. Very intense round, but it nets only a frustrating DRAW on the judges’ cards.

R6: Corner crews busy between the rounds with the Foxfire crew looking anxious as Rachel slumps wearily on her stool. However as soon as the bell rings, Rachel jumps to her feet and goes gamely towards the younger Chloe. Chloe goes right to the body to start things off. Hard, digging hooks against the rib cage and belly of Rachel McAdams. Rachel gives Chloe hooks right back as she pumps leather into Chloe’s ribs and stomach. They are again going at it hard, sweat is pouring down their striving bodies and they seem focused on the battle of attrition now raging. However as the round enters the final minute, Chloe Bennet suddenly shifts gears and blasts a right uppercut into Rachel McAdams chin. Rachel caught looking! DOWN GOES RACHEL!. The uppercut has sent Rachel stumbling back and then she sits down with a PLOP! Chlo heads for the neutral corner. Referee moves in and starts to count. Rachel struggles to regain her feet, but she can’t seem to get her legs to cooperate. As the count rises, Rachel tries to stand, several times, but falls back. She makes one final effort….

“NINE!....TEN!...OUT!” cries the referee.

After:

“NO! NO!” cries Rachel McAdams, fully erect, but just a little too late. Referee shakes her head.

“Sorry, Ms. McAdams, not this time.”

Rachel hangs her head and teies to hold back the tears.

Meanwhile Chloe Bennet is mounting the ropes and waving wildly to the fans. She excitedly tells the press later:

“I trust this show my critics I am a winner outside of the Asylum and I intend to keep on proving it!”

As for Rachel McAdams, she sadly says: “I couldn’t make it up in time. That hurts more than any punch. I know I could have pulled it out, but it just didn’t happen.”

This was a surprisingly close fight. Chloe was 10 years younger and that could have given her the edge. Those intense body punching rounds had to have been harder on the older Rachel, though the knockout blow was more a case of tunnel vision in not expecting a chin shot during a body punching battle. Good win for Chloe Bennet and a sad one for Rachel McAdams, who might be better advised to stick to cougar bouts in the future.
