NATALIE ALYN LIND VS SHAY MITCHELL

Results: Lookout Writing: Archer

Natalie: 23 YO, 5’5 (1.65 m), 24-17-0. 24 KO since 2017. Hawkeye International

Shay: 35 YO, 5’7 ½ (1.71 m), 38-34-0, 38 KO since 2011, Pretty Little Punchers

Before: “This will be my first fight since I moved over to HISC,” says Natalie, “of course I want to win it, but I wanted a challenge too. Shay Mitchell over 2 inches taller and she knows how to punch. I want to prove myself by beating someone who is no creampuff.”

Shay Mitchell nods: “You’re darned right I am no creampuff. I could use a good win and spoiling Natalie’s HISC debut seems like a good way to do it.”

“You’re not scaring me, Shay Mitchell,” Natalie Lind retorts. “I am going to win my debut and you’re not going to be able to stop e.”

Shay looking annoyed now: “Maybe you better quit talking kid, I have more than enough out of you and I just might decide to teach you a lesson.”

“Go ahead, see where it gets you,” Natalie fires back. “I don’t you’ll like where you end up.”

“I don’t waste time on threats—I make promises,” Shay snapped, “and I am promising shut your big mouth.”

“Promise all you want-I’ll be the one doing the delivering,” Natalie growled.

“Talk, that’s all it is—big talk from a little shrimp!” Shay says taking a step towards Natalie.

“You’re still not scaring me,” Natalie sneers defiantly.

At this point PLP communications director Autumn Reeser and one of the PR suits from HISC appear. They lead their fighters off the stage, but the ill-will is strong between Natalie and Shay. It is still running strong as they standing glaring at each other during ring instructions. NAL is in white bikini with black gloves and boxing booties (white laces) blonde hair in a ponytail. Shay in a navy blue off the shoulder, high waisted bikini with gold laces and golden gloves and boxing booties. Shay in a perky ponytail of her own. The referee looks a bit nervous as he goes through the instructions, but the two ladies settle for fierce looks and sharp “tap” of the gloves before going to their corners. Both look impatient, but the bell breaks the suspense DING! Out they comes.

R1: Fast moves from both corners brings Shay and Natty into punching range very quickly. Natalie firing a barrage of jabs straight into Shay’s face. Shay recoils as blood seeps from her nose and tries to answer Natalie wuth face shots of her own. However, Natalie then able to land a solid right to Shay’s jaw and then a left to the opposite side jaw. Shay’s legs are quivering as she stumbles back. NAL advancing with fast shots to the body of the beleaguered Shay who continues to try to retreat from the leather storm. Natalie pushes Shay around the ring, but can’t quite trap her on the ropes. However Natalie has done more than enough to win the round wide.

R2: Bell rings and out they come again. Shay Mitchell moving with much more aggression in this round. She swats fast strikes rights and lefts to Natalie’s head. Natalie trying to c under these but then gets whacked hard to the chin with right/left uppercuts. Natalie lurching back, trying to answer Shay with body shots, but now Shay heaving in overhand rights and lefts to smack NAL hard in the face. Noe Natalie is the one with the bloody nose. Natalie duking behind her mitts as Shay then brings driving hooks into NAL’s midsection and then up into those big inviting juggs. Natalie trying to get set to counterattack, but is jolted back by Shay’s strong body work. Bell sounds and Shay Mitchell takes this one wide.

R3: Natalie seemingly not appreciating Shay’s working over of her breasts in the previous round, now goes after Shay’s rack. Shay lashes right back at Natty’s knockers, but adds a strong one/two punch to the chin that makes NAL shiver. Natalie now trying to circle out of danger, but Shay keeping up with her and now landing against the sides of Natalie’s head. Natalie trying to fight back, but every effort is crushed by Shay’s slugging power. By the end of the round hay has Natalie all hunhed up, just trying to protect herself from Shay’s merciless attack as it ranges up and down her body. Another wide win for Shay Mitchell.

R4: Out they come for another round and this time Natalie starts hammering Shay to the body. Not just in the juggs, but also the ribs and abs. Shay responds with a burst of body punching and the two are soon going at it point-blank, looking at each other right in the eyes as they ram home the body busters. Natalie really digging in and it pays off as she pushes Shay back. Shay’s attack seems to falter as she bent over at the waist by NAL’s constant belly hooks. Shay not shut down, shes still punching back, but Natalie has pounded out a close win on the judges’ cards.

R5: Natalie now attacking Shay to the head, smacking her hard to the jaw and ripping Shay’s chin with a right uppercut. Shay put back on her heels and NAL springs forward eagerly. However Shay unloads a head swiveling right/left combo to Natalie’s jaw that brings her advance to a sudden halt. Now Shay clips Natalie to the chin and hooks her in the belly. Natalie knocked back, but rallies with body punching counterattack. Ribs, juggs and bellies under fresh ‘punching pressure. Late in the round, Shay goes to the sides of Natalies head with noggin rocking shots that have Natalie falling back with her mitts up around her head. Shay starts after her, but time runs out. Judges count the points and Shay Mitchell emerges the narrow winner this time around.

R6: Natalie and Shay come rolling out of their corners quickly at the bell. Shay luging forward trying a long-range shot at Natty’s jaw. Natalie manages to erk her head to one side as the blow whistles past her ear. Then she smashes home a right to Shay’s chin. Shay sent reeling backwards. Natty on the attack, trying to keep Shay from recovering as she wildly fires at Shay’s head and body, but these are more confusing than damaging. Shay finally able to stabilize her front behind a solid jab that busts up Natalie to the face and gives her juggs a going over too. Natalie replies in kind and she quickly has Shay’s face a bruised and swollen mess. Shay fighting back doggedly until she takes a NAL double uppercut to the chin that sends back with shaking knees. Natalie trying to get Shay into the ropes, but doesnlt have nearly enough time. However she has pulled out a win a close, hard-fought round.

R7: PLP corner crew manage to get Shay Mitchell’s cleaned up and out for the new round, but she is not moving as nimbly as she was earlier. Natalie can see it to and is dancing around the sluggishly moving veteran, popping in quick, shots mainly to the head and face. Shay seems to grow frustrated with these tactics and lunges forward trying to drive a straight right into Natalie’s face, but Natalie turns her shoulder into the blow and then comes swinging back with her own right. BIG hit to Shay’s jaw nearly knocks her off her feet. She staggers to one side and bumps into the ropes. Shay instinctively turns back towards the ring only to have Natalie’s right and left crash into her chin. SHAY GOES LIMP AND CRASHES TO HER FACE! Natalie moves quickly to the neutral corner. The referee is counting as Shay is trying to rise, she manages to get to all fours, but hangs there panting, unable to go any further.

“SEVEN!..EIGHT!....NINE!...TEN!...YER OUT!” cries the referee.

THE WINNER NATALIE ALYN LIND DEFEATS SHAY MITCHELL KO7.

After: “I got what I wanted,” a proud Natalie Alyn Lind tells the press after her victory. “I wanted to be be given a hard challenge and go on to win it. That is exactly what I did and Shay Mitchell knows now that I not ‘Big Talk’ I am a “Big Winner!’

A glum Shay Mitchell comments later: “She is a tough and nobody should underestimate her. I gave it a good try, but it wasn’t good enough this time. I don’t like losing and I refuse to dwell on this loss. I am looking ahead to winning my next fight.”

Natalie Alyn Lind scores a successful HISC debut fight. She was pushed hard by Shay Mitchell, but NAL able to rise to the challenge and win the battle. As Shay herself put it, she did give it good try—very good at times, but it wasn’t enough to wear down the younger fighter. Hwiever both fighters gave the fans good value in this effort and they can look forward to seeing what comes next for Natalie Alyn Lind and Shay Mitchell.
