Sayuki Matsumoto vs Mathilde Gohler

Sayuki Matsumoto wears a light blue bikini set & black gloves. Long dark brown hair with bangs straight. Mathilde Gohler wears a black bikini set & pink gloves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1: Sayuki, perhaps by sheer luck, wins out in the opening exchange, although Mathilde has little need to give ground. But it is clear that Sayuki has the tempo on her side, and it is Gohler that receives more punishment, taking it particularly severely in her face. Though it must be said that though Matsumoto took the round by a small margin, she is not unhurt; Mathilde hit her mostly with jabs to the belly, and her work shows.

Round 2: Mathilde seems to have found her footing, and it is Sayuki who is on the back foot; and she is taking it worse than Mathilde did in the first round. Gohler continues the assault on Sayuki’s belly, each punch eliciting a gasp or cry, and as her stomach becomes redder and redder, they increase in volume.

Round 3: Mathilde continues her assault as she did in round two, and it pays off in the first minute as Sayuki doubles over and slides down to the ground. It does not take long for her to recover, though; she is up at four. The round resumes with Sayuki redoubling her efforts, and suddenly now it is Gohler who finds herself being pushed back. All Sayuki here as Mathilde finds herself unable to hit back at all, and in the third minute, she falls after catching a particularly nasty shot to the face. All the punishment taken in this round renders her unable to get up fully by ten, though she did get close.

Winner: Sayuki Matsumoto via KO3!
