Intro:
It's not often that you have two fighters from the same stable battle it out. The Girls Friday stable seems to have an issue in its bantamweight corps that needs sorting out. Kaya Scodelario and Sophia Bush are going to fight for a second time in their careers, Kaya defeated Sophia back in 2018 by a seventh round knockout.

This bout though is about more then just Sophia looking to even the score up. The drama in the stable goes back to last year, Hilary Swank was given a job by the Girls Friday management to help train the bantamweights. While things started off brightly enough, results for Kaya under Hilary's training did go down, leading to her going under different coaches that only slightly improved her performances.

At the start of the month an article appeared in the FCBA Inquirer. The headline read "Kaya Scodelario gives ultimatum! Me or her!" The article read that an unknown source had told them that Kaya had told the Girls Friday management that she wanted Swank fired. The press would swarm the stable gym to get more on it.

Nothing came out until a week later when stable assistant manager Melanie Sykes told journalists outside the gym "look Kaya has had issues within the stable but we are working on those. Hilary will not be going anywhere and neither will Kaya. While we suspect who the leak was, we hope that the press will allow time to sort this matter out internally."

Clearly Kaya wanted to force the issue as she told an interviewer on TV on the BBC "I have made it clear that Hilary has added nothing to our training camps. She is a know-it-all that couldn't even beat Katie Sackhoff. What the hell can she teach me! I hope Melanie reconsiders and kicks her out." With a smirk on her face.

A maybe unintended consequence of her public comments was that clearly Sophia Bush wasn't having any of it. She would do her own interview where she said "look I respect and do like Kaya, though we are not friends. Her attacks on Hilary are ridiculous, Kaya has used her as a scapegoat because she has lost confidence to be an elite fighter. We know that Hilary trained several top stars before we were lucky to have her in our camp. Kaya needs to get her head out her ass and listen to Hilary's advice before she wastes her career."

That of course led to bickering inside the camp that had pushing and shoving between Sophia and Kaya. Till finally Melanie would post a video online telling the world "due to circumstances that have gotten out of control, Kaya Scodelario and Sophia Bush will fight it out on the PPV. While we rarely like to see our fighters have a go at each other, sometimes you need to let them blow off steam. So let's see who shuts up who before I get a headache." Not the most professional way to sort it but clearly the tension has become too much for the Girls Friday stable management to take.

Fight night. first through the curtain onto the aisle comes Kaya with a bit so happy looking Taryn Terrell. Who follows behind with not much of a smile. Kaya looks focused as she bangs her black gloves together and walks down the aisle to the ring. Climbing into the ring, Kaya is wearing a black sports bra, black and white chequered trunks, black shoes, while her hair is tied into a ponytail. Kaya bounces on her toes as Taryn gives her a few words of advice.

Sophia is heading out onto the aisle. Of course she has Hilary to her right as they share an embrace before they walk to the ring. Sophia looks to mean business tonight as she wears white gloves, navy blue sports bra, matching trunks and shoes, hair is braided to finish her look. Into the ring steps Sophia with her eyes firmly locked onto her opponent as Hilary tells her to keep her cool.

The referee brings the girls together. Kaya tells Hilary "I am going to beat Sophia's arse because of you." Earning her a shove to the chest by Sophia, the referee stepping between them as they scream insults. At ringside in the VIP area, Melanie is shaking her head in disbelief. There's no touch of gloves as they return to their corners. The bell ringing moments later to begin 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Out they come with Kaya looking to be the aggressor early, missing though with her power punches as Sophia sees them coming and moves back out of range. The American landing crisp counters into the face of her opponent as she boxes around the perimeter of the ring. Letting Kaya make mistakes as the younger woman looks a bit too fired up.

A double jab slices through the mitts of Kaya to snap back her head, Sophia then bangs away on the inside to the body as Kaya backs up. Snarls heard as Kaya pushes at the shoulders of Sophia to create space, problem for Scodelario is that Bush is now on the front foot with punches piercing her guard to knock her backwards.

Clubbing the cheeks of Sophia to fight her way off the ropes. Kaya is reminding her stablemate that she dangerous even on the back foot. They are back in the center of the ring soon enough as Kaya pushes forwards. As the ten second warning comes in, both plant their feet to exchange furious punches. Not all land but it gets the crowd standing cheering these two warriors on till the bell rings to end proceedings. Kaya looks pissed off as she storms to her corner, Taryn giving her a telling off as she shakes her head.

Round 2:
While Kaya looks annoyed; she does do as asked by Taryn, with a double jab being used now to step up her punches. Jabbing exchanges reign supreme over the opening thirty seconds as both try to land a big punch behind them. A few hits crack onto cheeks to turn heads as these two are not playing nice here.

Leaning out the way of a right cross, Kaya counters with a straight into the face of her opponent to knock her back a step. A left/right hook combo comes in quickly afterwards as Kaya looks to batter back her stablemate. Sophia forced to cover up more tightly as she is being herded around the ring near the ropes, doing her best to stay off them with little flurries coming back at Kaya. Who is outworking the older woman with hooks digging into the body of Bush.

Both start to dig their toes into the canvas as they exchange harder shots. Trying to make their opponent respect each other, the grunts and barks from the fighters can be heard outside the ring. A straight catches Kaya late on in her chest before a left hook slams into her cheek. Sophia fighting her way off the ropes but it isn't long till the bell rings. Strong round for Scodelario now she isn't just swinging for the fences.

Round 3:
Pushing up off their stools to resume. The tension is clear for all to see as they have their eyes locked. Exchanging around the middle of the ring as they both just miss with some big power punches as they step back when one is being uncorked in their direction. Sophia ending the opening minute of the round with a stiff double jab into the face of Kaya before pounding in a right hook to her jaw.

Before Kaya knows it she has Sophia up in her grill. Sophia whacking away to the body, pressing the younger woman to the ropes as her head is on the guard of Kaya. Who clinches up with Sophia, both trying to wrestle the other firmly onto the ropes as snarls can be heard. They are split up with Kaya giving Sophia a shove with her left glove to the face, causing a little anger to spill over as Sophia calls her a bytch.

They resume with Sophia trying to get back on the front foot. She eats a clubbing left cross though to her cheek, reddening it up before a straight pounds through her guard to her face. Sophia finding herself on the defensive as Kaya now lets her aggression out. Banging away at the flanks of Sophia, with Bush firing single punches back into her opponents face when the openings are there. The ding of the bell ends the round, Kaya being told to take a breath to cool off as Taryn isn't going to let her get away with being sloppy. Hilary nodding to Sophia that she is doing a good job so far.

Round 4:
Resuming with a flurry of punches being exchanged. Kaya is trying to up the tempo to push the older fighter. Sophia misses with a left cross as she finds thin air, instead a crunching counter right slams on her jaw to make her stumble back two steps. Kaya forcing her into a neutral corner with a shove to her chest, while that does get a warning from the referee, Sophia is more bothered that she is needing to cover up as her abs are soaking in punishment from the fists of her opponent.

Needing to hold onto Kaya. Sophia is happy for the break in the action, but she is getting hit around the back of her head by Kaya. The referee warns Scodelario after the fighters are split up, a few boos ringing out as Kaya is certainly not endearing herself to anyone. They resume with Sophia coming firing back, leading to another hot blooded exchange between these clearly former friends.

Late in the round Sophia gets nudged back by a left to her chest. A hard right slams across her cheek to turn her head, there's a mouse under the left eye of Bush now as Kaya bangs in several hard punches to her face. Sophia finding herself pinned to the ropes. The round comes to an end not long later as Kaya marches back over to her corner with a ice cold expression. Sophia gets her swelling work on in her corner as Hilary gives her a pep talk.

Round 5:
Back at it they go with Sophia looking to bring the fight back to her opponent. It looks like Kaya though has the measure of her as she steps back when a big punch is coming in, slamming a hard counter back into the face of Sophia. Who looks to not quite be quick enough right now to trouble her stablemate.

Leading to a few clubbing shots smacking sweat off Sophia's brow. A right hook around her she makes Sophia cry out as her eyes shut. Left hook to her chin wobbles back the former JMD champion, RIGHT HOOK ON THE BUTTON SENDS SOPHIA CRASHING TO HER BACK!

The referee nudges Kaya back as she is telling Sophia to get back up shockingly. She stares over at Hilary as the count begins. 1...2...3....4... Sophia is laying spread eagle with her eyes shut, gumshield hanging out her mouth. 5...6...7... Hilary is willing Sophia to make a miraculous recovery. 8... It is clear though 9...10 that Sophia is completely out of it! She is counted out!

Winner Kaya Scodelario KO Round 5:

After:
The winner not showing much concern for her stablemate as she bellows "that's what you f**king get!" To Sophia, who probably can't hear her right now. Taryn shakes her head as Kaya returns to her corner. helping to remove Kaya's gloves as she tells her fighter "this feud ends here. You won" as Kaya smirks at her.

Hilary meanwhile is in the ring checking over Sophia. Who stirs awake with a groan, she rubs her chin as she admits she got caught flush. Taryn soon comes over to kneel with a smile and to check on Sophia. With the beaten fighter joking "I might be getting too old for this" with a wink of her right eye as her left looks sore.

Seeing this heartfelt show of unity. Clearly Kaya doesn't like it or she is ignoring Taryn's words. After removing her hand wraps Kaya charges the kneeling Hilary from behind with a kick into her kidney, down goes Hilary howling in pain as Kaya actually mounts her stable coach to yell "you f**king bytch! See what you caused!" Not seeing the irony of her words as she punches Hilary in her face.

Taryn tackles Kaya off her and wrestles with her own fighter, pinning Kaya by her throat to the canvas with her left hand. Clearly things are not settled her as Hilary gets up with a groan. Rubbing her back as she has a little swelling around her left eye. Screaming "you cheap f**king bytch!" As the referee actually holds back Hilary from going for Kaya.

The chaos in the ring is only added to as Melanie climbs into the ring. Yelling at Taryn to let go of Kaya. Who rubs her throat as she pushes at Taryn's chest. Back at it goes Taryn and Kaya moments later after a few words are exchanged. Hands in hair as they fight to pin the other down. Melanie risking her health by the looks of it to get these wildcats apart. Sophia has tears in her eyes seeing the fracture in her stable as she is used to seeing issues like this.

As order is restored with help from security. Melanie yells at Kaya "you are suspended for two weeks! Don't you dare come to the gym after this stunt! You are lucky I don't fire you!" As she lets her have it. Kaya looks emotional as she shakes her head. Cheeks are red from being so furious.

Climbing out the ring in a huff. Kaya can be heard saying to herself "things used to be so much better... F**king c**ts" as she storms off to the locker room. It'll be interesting to see if there will be more trouble as of course Sophia has to return to the same locker room with Hilary and Taryn.

In the ring Melanie checks on the group still left in there. Taryn calling Kaya a spoiled brat that was treated with kid gloves too long to become that. Hilary meanwhile hugs Sophia as she makes sure that she is ok, even as her back is killing her from the kick. Of course the journalists at ringside are eating this all up. What exactly do they do with the Kaya problem? Is this leading to Kaya being booted out the stable as the last member of the original version of the Girls Friday stable to box?
