Emily Didonato versus Kelsey Merritt (Lightweight Title)

Before:
It’s a rematch of brunette swimsuit models to decide the lightweight title as Odds and Ends Kelsey Merritt challenges lightweight champion from Fates Emily DiDonato. Emily is public enemy number one for Odds and Ends after the Fates girl ruined the nights of several Odds and Ends girls on O&E cards. She beat O&E poster girl Adriana Lima at the New Year’s Beach Card and at O&E’s 10th anniversary card. Kelsey has a vendetta against Emily too after she lost at another New Year’s Beach Card to Emily in body paint and the Fates girl made sure to get rid of some of the loser’s body paint. Kelsey earned a rematch after beating Em’s stablemate Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and the two girls walk into the press room ready to fight each other.
“I want my revenge on Dildo and I will get that title for the last laugh.” Kelsey says. “Emily’s just a washed up has been outside the ring and I will make sure she is one inside the ring. She’s been a thorn for us girls at Odds & Ends and I am going to finish that problem.”
“What titles has Kelsey won?” Emily asks. “She lost a mistress of the body saddle chance to Taylor but she hasn’t done anything else. I am sick of these O&E girls and I’ll crush her.”
Merritt the first girl to walk out from the back and she wears a revealing black bikini set with white gloves and her hair in a ponytail for the fight. Kelsey bouncing around on her feet and shadow boxing with her staff when she waits for Emily. DiDonato steps out moments later and the champion has the belt around her waist and is wearing a signature blue bikini set with matching gloves. The Fates girl poses for the crowd before handing over the title. The ref asks the two girls to touch gloves and they both agree to stare daggers at the ref. After a second the ref calls for the bell without the glove touch and we have ten rounds of lightweight action for the title.
Round 1:
Merritt shoots out of her corner and dekes DiDonato with a left before connecting with a haymaker to her mouth to start off the fight! Emily stunned and Kelsey smacks the champion back with a follow up left before the Fates girl gets herself together. The two brunette beauties waste no time and start plowing leather into the other girl’s body. DiDonato is stronger and she works Merritt backward. The Odds & Ends corner shouts at their fighter to pivot and Merritt darts left out of a straight from DiDonato and the challenger pounds a left across the champion’s chest and then digs in a right into her ribs before retreating. Emily winces as the younger girl strikes her and the champion nudges the smaller girl back. Kelsey does not care and the younger model darts around the champion and uses her speed to hammer the bigger girl’s body to the bell and targets her jugs.
“I’m getting my revenge tonight!” Kelsey screams after the first round ends. “I’m going to knock you out.”
Round 2:
DiDonato gets advice from her trainers to not get pulled into Merritt’s fight of a hit and run fight and the champion cautiously exits her corner to start the second. Merritt quick out of her corner again and she circles around DiDo and feints left before striking Emily with a right to her ribs. Emily drops back and forces Kelsey to chase after her. Merritt with a right jab at DiDonato but the blow bounces off the champion’s guard and DiDonato sticks Merritt with a left. Kelsey pivots to her right but Emily sees it and drives a left into her midriff. Kelsey clinches before Emily can land any more punches and the referee separates the two girls. DiDonato now the girl chasing after her opponent and she keeps the tempo at her pace as she works her power punches. The bell rings and DiDonato evens the fight on points.
Round 3:
Emily finding her stride as she powers Kelsey with a right out of her corner and follows up with a left. DiDo finding ribs and midriff and Merritt does not have the reach to fight back and the smaller girl looks for the clinch. Emily working the smaller girl around the ring until Kelsey finds her footing and drives a right into the older girl’s chest. DiDonato clinches before the younger girl connects with another blow. The ref pulls the two girls apart and Emily goes back to using her strength but Kelsey is slippery and the younger model tags the bigger girl in her ribs. Emily grunts and she nudges Kelsey back and hits her with a left into the face. Kelsey retreats and Emily chases after her and shoots out a left but nobody is home and Kelsey tags Emily with a right hook! DiDonato stunned at the bell but the champ still wins the round on points.
Round 4:
Kelsey with a smile on her face to start the round as she dances around Emily. For the first minute neither girl is able to break through her foe’s defense. DiDonato thumps Merritt’s body to start the second minute but that’s all she gets and Merritt snaps the champ’s head back with a left jab. Kelsey immediately follows up with a pair of short strikes to her foe’s midriff before thumping her chest back and dropping back before the champion can respond. Kelsey fighting her fight as she sticks and shifts and opens up Emily’s face beneath her right eye. DiDonato feels the trickle of blood down her face and the Odds & Ends girl targets her open cut. DiDonato moving slow and Merritt nearly drops her with a right! Emily staggers back into the ropes and she is butt between them to the bell. Kelsey snarling at the bell and she shoves Emily further into the ropes for good measure.
Round 5:
Merritt comes out of her corner with a purpose and wallops DiDonato with a right and the champion’s legs wobble! Kelsey plows leather into Emily’s body with authority as the younger model looks to avenge her previous loss to the Fates girl. Kelsey works over every inch of legal flesh she can find and Emily can’t cover her whole body and her head and Merritt pounds her chest. Emily covers up but Kelsey’s blows take their toll and Kelsey drives a pair of rights into Emily’s chin and down goes the champ! Kelsey smirks and steps over Emily and pumps up the crowd with the title just a count of ten away. The ref starts counting and Emily lifts her head up and blinks as she sees his fingers. DiDonato crawls to the ropes and drags herself up at the count of seven. The ref gives her the mandatory and waves Merritt back in.
Kelsey headhunting and she connects with a left but Emily gets her right arm around the smaller girl before driving a short left into her midriff. The bell rings in the scuffle and the two brunettes are pulled apart with Emily’s skin red from the punches she took.
Round 6:
Merritt with all the momentum heading into the back half of the fight and the younger girl looks to claim her first championship. Merritt fast out of her corner and she drives a left into DiDonato’s midriff but she doesn’t get out of the way fast enough and DiDo scores a clubbing blow to her jaw. Ems showing off her power as she muscles the smaller girl back with a left to her foe’s midriff and powers the challenger into the ropes. Now Kelsey covering up as Emily works over her body and picks a spot on her torso and hammers it. Kelsey’s breath getting driven out of her and the model is forced to clinch with the champion. DiDonato moving quickly after the break and she goes back to Merritt’s body. Kelsey gasps and swings wildly but she connects with Emily’s head and the champ nearly goes down again! Emily with a clinch to stop more punches from coming and holds on to the end of the round but she is wobbly returning to her corner.
Round 7:
The fifth and sixth rounds had momentum swings and the seventh has another as Kelsey picks up where she left off the sixth. Emily sluggish and Kelsey is slicing around and dicing around her guard! The ref’s watching closely as DiDonato’s giving up her body and Merritt goes to candy land as she pounds the champion’s chest. The ref watches carefully as she works the bigger girl into the ropes.
“HNNNNNG” Emily winces as Kelsey buries leather into her solar plexus. DiDonato bends over and takes a shot to her liver as she clinches. Merritt tries to shake the champion loose but the ref steps in. Merritt dekes left and drives a right into DiDonato’s rack. Emily’s guard begins to droop and Kelsey steps in close but her blow flies wide as Emily connects with a haymaker! The bell rings and both brunette models stagger back to their corners and Emily holds her chest.
Round 8:
The toll of the seven rounds fought shows and Emily and Kelsey struggle out of their corners. Merritt’s legs moving through quicksand to start and DiDonato is not any different but her longer legs let her cover the distance faster and she lands a meaty punch to start the round. Neither girl moving fast and DiDonato lays on the hurt as it turns into a bruising bout that favors the bigger champion. Emily staying at a distance but still able to work her jab and she works Kelsey back. DiDonato starts to throw the odd punch into Merritt’s guard and the younger girls’ gloves start to give way. Kelsey knows she can’t stay on the defensive and she pops a short right at Emily’s head. The blow skips off of Emily’s ear. DiDonato with a clean left with an open line into Merritt’s jaw and the younger girl freezes. Emily follows up with the one-two across her jaw and down goes Kelsey! Merritt hits the canvas and barely is moving as the ref counts. Emily in the corner with sweat dripping off her body as the ref reaches ten and your winner and still lightweight champion Emily DiDonato!
After:
Emily collapses on the ropes and holds her chest after the brutal fight while the Odds and Ends staff floods the ring. DiDonato is helped to her feet by the Fates staff and the brunette gathers her title belt and raises it for the crowd. Emily is quick to hand the title off to her staff and goes over to Kelsey’s stool. The O&E staff scatter and Merritt looks groggily at the champion. Emily grabs Kelsey’s hair and bends over to whisper in her ear.
“You’re nothing compared to me. You are just another wannabe SI girl.” Emily taunts the younger girl. “You will never beat me on the beach and that is a promise.”
DiDonato lets go of Merritt’s hair and struts out of the ring, holding the title high but the model grimaces the whole way to the back from the damage from Merritt.
Kelsey furious after the fight and when she talks to the press. “Odds and Ends is the best beach fighting stable the FCBA has ever seen. I will get Emily on the beach and make her regret stepping in the sand with me.” |
