Before:
Bantamweight action puts two former champions in the ring in a rubber match. Elizabeth Olsen and Troian Bellisario have split their two fights and a win tonight would give one of the two girls bragging rights. Bellisario has not won more than three fights in a year since 2017 but Olsen has run the division since joining Fates and is nearing her hall of fame qualification. The two girls fought previously without bad blood but the press conference is different this time.
“Lizzie is done being on top of the division.” Troian tells the press. “I will beat her and prove to the FCBA I still have it in me.”
Olsen fires back. “I had as many wins last year than she has in the last five. I can taste the hall of fame and I will beat her.”
Fight night and Bellisario is the first girl out from the back and she wears a green sports bra and matching trunks with blue gloves. Olsen steps out with a black sports bra and matching trunks and gloves. The two girls glare at each other and the ref calls for the bell and ten rounds of bantamweight action.
Round 1:
Both brunette actresses cautious to start the fight and they trade jabs at each other to start the fight. Bellisario uses her longer reach to get ahead early and she tags Olsen’s shoulders and guard with punches. Lizzie struggling to land punches back on Troian and the PLP girl drives her Fates foe into the ropes early. Olsen is quick on the clinch but not before she takes a pair of liver shots. The ref steps in and pulls the two girls apart and the fight continues. Troian back to her jabs but Elizabeth starting to play for the counterpunches and she lands a punch into the bigger girl’s body. Both girls scrapping in close range and it favors Olsen but Bellisario works back against the smaller girl. The bell ends the first round and these two rivals are set for another fight.
Round 2:
The second round starts the same as the first and Troian establishes her jab and she pops the smaller girl with a left. Troian with the right follow up but Elizabeth dodges the blow and drives a left into the bigger girl’s face. Bellisario gets her gloves up to block the follow up but Olsen working over body and staying close to the older girl. Elizabeth landing licks to Troian’s body and the PLP girl now is clinching to get the break. Action restarts and Lizzie again gets in close and goes body. Trioan struggling with the close quarters fighting until she clips Liz in her jaw with a right. Olsen now the girl retreating but her gloves block the older girl’s strikes and the bell rings to end the second rounds.
Round 3:
Both girls moving well to start the third and it is a give and take before Troian jabs at Elizabeths head. Olsen bobs out of the way but takes a blow to her torso and Bellisario finds another strike into her body. Lizzie backpedals and Troian goes for another blow but the Fates girl plants her feet and blocks the punch before finding the bigger girl’s chin. Troian stutter steps backward and Elizabeth closes the distance and boxes in close. Lizzie with short punches into Troian’s ribs and the Scarlet Witch keeps her focus on that spot. The PLP girl uses her legs to get space but she can’t keep the Fates girl away and the smaller girl continues to land her punches to the bell.
Round 4:
Troian taking pointers from her corner and the older actress starts out the fourth round and pounds a left into Elizabeth’s face. Olsen winces and covers up to block the follow up but Bellisario hits her stride and works over the smaller girl from range. Lizzie stays out of the ropes and Troian chases the smaller girl. PLP girl finds a left into the Fates girl’s midriff and the younger actress winces in pain but she clinches and the referee separates the two. Bellisario with a left feint but Olsen reads the blow and finds a short left into the body of her opponent. Bellisario now the girl who winces and clinches for a break and the ref pulls the two girls apart again. Lizzie and Troian circling to the bell and neither girl landing any punches.
Round 5:
Bellisario with another quick left but Olsen ducks the blow and finds her foe’s chin and the older actress gives up ground early. Lizzie working in close quarters like she does best and pounds leather into the taller girl’s body and she works her into the ropes. Troian struggles to clinch and the Fates girl lands another blow into her foe’s chin before Bellisario wraps up the smaller girl. The ref steps in and pulls the two apart and the fight continues. Olsen bobs left and sticks a right at Bellisario’s head but nobody is home and Olsen takes a hook to her jaw! Olsen stunned and the Fates girl does not know what hit her and Troian pounds another one two three straight punches into her jaw and down goes Elizabeth in a heap. The Fates girl is not moving and the ref calls for the bell and your winner by KO5 out of nowhere Troian Bellisario!
After:
Olsen’s struggles continue as she drops to a 2-4 record after going 38-9 in the previous three years combined but Bellisario scores her first win of 2023. Troian celebrating around the ring after pulling the win out of nowhere while the Fates crew brings Elizabeth around. The Fates girl puts her hands in her gloves as she realizes she got knocked out and sees the PLP girl in the background.
“I told the FCBA Lizzie was done at the top of the division.” Troian boasts after the fight. “I still have it in me like I said I do so who is next? I just took the rubber match against Olsen.”
Olsen walks past the press as she exits the arena and her eyes are puffy and her cheeks full of tears as she tries to hide her face after her impressive dominance at the top of the bantamweight division ends. |
