SASHA PIETERSE VS MALU TREVEJO

Malu: 20 YO, 5’4 (1.62 m) 6-7-0, 6 KO since 2021, Latina Knockouts

Before: “You know me,” Sasha Pieterse cheerfully tells the press at the pre-fight, “I am always looking for a winnable fight and Malu looks like a good one. She’s not a rookie, but she’s still young and eager. I am looking forward to adding to her FCBA education.”

“Hah!” scoffs Cuban-born singer Malu . “What she likes is that I lost my last 6 fight. She’s also got 2 inches on me. Well, let me tell you, Sasha, I am too good a fighter for this losing streak to go on. I am looking forward to breaking that streak so you better watch out, you’re underestimating me!”

“I never said that,” Sasha says, “but the odds are on my side, even you realize that.”

“You better watch out,” Malu warns, “it’s the long odds that get the biggest prize.”

“OH, I’ll be watching—you losing and me winning,” Sasha snaps back.

“It hasn’t happened yet. So don’t say you weren’t warned,” the defiant Malu declares.

Sasha and Malu now exchanging fiery glares and the ill-will continues as they enter meet in the ring. Sasha is in light gray one piece swimsuit with black floral pattern. Gray gloves and boots (black laces.) Her blonde hair is in a battle braid down her back. Malu is in a yellow bikini with matching gloves and boots (black laces). Her hair is pulled back in a battle braid.

Malu and Sasha getting into each other’s faces, bodies bumping and giving each other fierce expressions. Referee has to calm them down and remind them to “save it for the fight.” He does manage to get through the ring instructions, but glove “tap” is a loud smack that can be heard in distant parts of the arena. They then march to their corners. The tensionis strong breaking only with the ringing of the bell

R1: Sasha getting up-close-and-personal with Malu from the start. She crowds in behind shirt, but powerful hooks to the body, trying to force the smaller woman back. Malu trying to stand her ground, fighting back with body punches of her own, but Sasha keeps up the pressure. Malu is showing some good whack as she fires into Sasha’s breasts and midsection. Sasha is hitting back harder and step by step is forcing Malu to give ground. Intense round ends in a close win for the PLP blonde, but Malu continues to show defiance.

R2: Malu surprises Sasha by shooting out of her corner and leaping forward to CLOUT the blonde across the jaw. Sasha recoiling as Malu then follows up with a jugg busting barrage to Sasha’s rack. Sasha retreating rapidly, trying to find the space to pull herself together, but Malu is showing good pursuit as she connects to Sasha’s head and stuffs some hooks into Sasha’s belly. Sasha has all she can do to keep off the ropes. Finally, Sasha able to get some counter hoks into Malu’s midsection to disrupt the brunette’s rampage. Malu circling, coming back in, but runs into more jabs from Sasha, but Malu clips blonde chin several times before bell sounds. Malu Trevejo wins this one wide.

R3: Sasha makes sure she is out fast at the bell this round and she is the one who gets in the first good punch—a bell ringing right to the side of Malu’s head. Sasha quick to follow with shots to the chin and more to the jaw, Suddenly, the feisty Malu is glassy-eyed and rubber-legged, She does manage to keep her gloves up tight around her head so that Sasha is unable to get in more head bangers. Sasha now working over Malu to the body, pushing her towards the ropes, but then Malu seems to shake off the cobwebs and uses her jab to show she;s still in this fight. However the round ends in a wide win for Sasha Pieterse.

R4: Malu and Sasha both out quickly and clash at mid ring. Sasha now striking at Malu to the body. Malu answering with strong body punches of her own Intense action seems focused on this body battle of attrition, but suddenly Malu steps to one side, drawing Sasha off balance with her guard down. BOOM! Right from Malu explodes against Sasha’s jaw. Sasha floundering to one side and Malu pours in the follow-up hitting Sasha’s jaw again and again. SASHA CRUMPLES TO HER KNEES AND THEN PITCHES ONTO HER FACE! Malu looks down in delight before heading for the neutral corner. She looks back to see Sasha on her knees, the ref standing over her counting and trying to rise—BUT SHE CAN’T DO IT!

“EIGHT!....NINE!...TEN!...YER OUT!”

THE WINNER: MALU TREVEJO DEFEATS SASHA PIETERSE KO4!

Before: Overjoyed Maly has finally snapped that 6 fight losing streak. She can’t wait to swoop across the ring and drag a shell-shocked Sasha Pieterse on a triumphant Walk of Shame.

“It SO good to have that awful losing streak behind me,” Malu Trevejo tells press as happy tears roll down her cheeks. “I guess I showed that arrogant blonde she should never underestimate Maria Luisa Trevejo!”

Sasha is also in tears in the post fight, but they are not happy ones: “I should have been able to beat her. I made too many mistakes. This is one I just want to forget.”
An upset win is always sweet to the victor, but bitter for the loser. So it is as Malu Trevejo ends her losing trek with a surprise win over a favored fighter. Meanwhile Sasha Pieterse has the sour taste of losing a fight she expected to win. It should be interesting to see if Malu can build on this turn in her ring fortunes and how long it will take Sasha Pieterse to bounce back from this setback
