Ili Cheng vs Miri Hanai

The first bout in a long time for both fighters, Ili Cheng and Miri Hanai are eager for a win in the ring. Ili, less endowed, opts for a sports bra and spandex shorts, all her gear in black, while Hanai dons lacy lingerie, also in black, each hoping to intimidate the other through choice of attire, but neither is daunted, approaching the other with confidence as the bell rings.

Round 1: Hanai shows her age and experience in the first round, taking the younger woman for a ride around the ring, mostly dodging while throwing a couple of punches when she can. It is successful, as most of Ili’s attacks hit nothing, and she becomes increasingly frustrated as the round goes on, swinging in larger movements and hitting harder. The round goes to Miri by a close margin.

Round 2: More of the same has Ili abandoning all sense of defense and reason, throwing all of her power into each punch at the slippery Miri. She does not land any, and continues to be whittled down through the first two minutes and most of the third. However, she manages to catch Hanai’s cheek in the closing seconds of the third minute, sending her stumbling; but the bell rings before she can capitalize on that.

Round 3: The powerful punch at the end of round two seems to have greatly affected Miri, the shorter woman stumbling into round three, unable to keep up the fleet footwork any longer. But Ili is tired, having thrown haymakers for two rounds, and does not manage to put Miri down in round three despite having the initiative and advantage. The round goes to Cheng by a thin margin.

Round 4: Early into round four, Ili catches Miri square on the nose with a lightning jab, sending her down onto her back. Try as she might, repeated headshots have left her too dizzy, and cannot push herself past all fours without falling back to the ground.

Winner: Ili Cheng via KO4!
